The SA-Bi nanoparticles with an average size of 60nm were characteri zed by TEM, XRD and other techniques. The results show that SA-Bi nanoparticles have the same crystalline structure as that of bulk bismuth and exhibit good oi l solubility. The tribological properties of SA-Bi nanoparticles as a additive in oil were evaluated on a four-ball tester. The tribological results show that the SA-Bi nanoparticles have good antiwear performance. In addition, the mecha nism for formation of SA-Bi nanoparticles was discussed.展开更多
