铝合金在工业中的广泛应用促进了铝合金脉冲GMAW焊接工艺及焊接设备的大发展,数字化技术为研发适合高效焊接铝合金工艺新电源提供了契机。文中基于数字信号处理器(DSP)和MCU双核数字控制,研制了数字化脉冲GMAW铝合金焊机。基于模块化设... 铝合金在工业中的广泛应用促进了铝合金脉冲GMAW焊接工艺及焊接设备的大发展,数字化技术为研发适合高效焊接铝合金工艺新电源提供了契机。文中基于数字信号处理器(DSP)和MCU双核数字控制,研制了数字化脉冲GMAW铝合金焊机。基于模块化设计思想,DSP主要处理焊接过程信号和焊接输出波形控制,MCU主要处理人机交互信息,双核之间采用通讯方式进行信息交互。设计的数字化控制电源具有焊接电源输出波形控制、熔滴过渡控制、电弧性能控制、专家系统等功能,适合各种铝合金不同场合的应用。焊接试验结果表明,焊接工艺性能良好,焊缝成形均匀一致,建立的焊接电源数字控制平台可用于铝合金焊接工艺的研究。 展开更多

Aluminium alloys generally present low weldability by traditional fusion welding process. Development of the friction stir welding (FSW) has provided an alternative improved way of producing aluminium joints in a faster and reliable manner. The quality of a weld joint is stalwartly influenced by process parameter used during welding. An approach to develop a mathematical model was studied for predicting and optimizing the process parameters of dissimilar aluminum alloy (AA6351 T6-AA5083 Hlll)joints by incorporating the FSW process parameters such as tool pin profile, tool rotational speed welding speed and axial force. The effects of the FSW process parameters on the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of friction welded dissimilar joints were discussed. Optimization was carried out to maximize the UTS using response surface methodology (RSM) and the identified optimum FSW welding parameters were reported. 展开更多

The synchronous acquisition system of droplet image inspection and arc electric signals were established and the droplet transition characteristics of aluminum alloys were researched in the plasma-MIG welding process.Typical droplet transition modes include globular transfer mode,short circuiting transfer mode,metastable spray transfer mode and projected transfer mode.The result indicates that MIG droplet transfer frequency and droplet transfer modes are changed by introducing the plasma arc in the plasma-MIG welding process compared with the MIG welding on the aluminum alloys,which broadens the range of welding parameters when the stable welding process proceeds.The metastable spray transfer and projected transfer mode are proved to be the most optimal modes by comparing the stability of electronic signal,droplet transition,weld appearance and weld penetration. 展开更多

A new technique named rotating extrusion was proposed that uses rotating extrusion action to rectify residual distortion of aluminum alloy thin-plate weldments to improve mechanical properties of welded joints. The basic principle and device of rotating extrusion were introduced. The residual distortion and stresses in rotating extrusion weldments were compared with those in conventional weldments. The differences in microstructure and mechanical properties between conventional welded joints and rotating extrusion welded joints were investigated and analyzed in order to make clear the effect of rotating extrusion on the performance of aluminum alloy weldments. Experimental results show that rotating extrusion can enhance the hardness and tensile strength of aluminum alloy welded joints evidently. This method has also potential effect on extending the life of welded structures. 展开更多

A comparative approach was performed between the response surface method(RSM) and the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFIS) to enhance the tensile properties, including the ultimate tensile strength and the tensile elongation, of friction stir welded age hardenable AA6061 and AA2024 aluminum alloys. The effects of the welding parameters, namely the tool rotational speed, welding speed, axial load and pin profile, on the ultimate tensile strength and the tensile elongation were analyzed using a three-level, four-factor Box-Behnken experimental design. The developed design was utilized to train the ANFIS models. The predictive capabilities of RSM and ANFIS were compared based on the root mean square error, the mean absolute error, and the correlation coefficient based on the obtained data set. The results demonstrate that the developed ANFIS models are more effective than the RSM model. 展开更多
