Both statistic and linguistic analysis were made to shed light on the learners' most incompetent aspects of the target language. The results show that the learners' greatest difficulty in their writing is grammar, which is followed by use of words and textual cohesion. It is concluded that different linguistic levels display different features of errors and therefore require different treatments.展开更多
