TEST SPECIFICATIONS AND READING ASSESSMENT——DESIGNING THE NEW TEM4 READING TEST SPECIFICATIONS

Having examined the role, format and usefulness of test specifications in test development and evaluation, this paper sets out to investigate the significance of test specifications in the process of reading assessment. In order to exemplify how test specifications facilitate the operationalization of test construct and the development of items/tasks, this paper makes a close analysis of the new TEM4 reading test specifications. It is hoped that the discussion will throw light on how to translate construct into operational terms in test design and development.

从教二十多年,关于"教师的专业化发展"这一词组我是头一遭认真的予以思考,我庆幸自己有幸参与省"百千万人才工程"的培训,庆幸自己认识了一大批教育专家、教授,他们给了我对自身价值与发展的新的思考和定位的机会。然而,环视周遭,又不免为自己,为身边的同行,为语文学科的现状所困扰。因此,我只是想以自己的浅陋见识,谈谈语文教师如何在固有的时空背景里边教边学,更好地进行专业方面的发展,做一位学习型的老师。
