In this manuscript, the neat epoxy(EP)and functionalized Fe_(3)O_(4)(G-Fe_(3)O_(4))reinforced epoxy(G-Fe_(3)O_(4)/EP)coatings were cured under different temperatures, and the effect of the low curing temperature on the anticorrosion performance was investigated. The experimental results show that the epoxy-amine ring-open addition reaction mainly exists in the curing process, and the activation energies of the reaction for the two coatings are 55.84 and 53.29 kJ/mol,respectively.For the coatings cured at the low temperature, almost no pores could be detected on the fracture surface, but the presentence of the rough regions reflects the poor curing state. As compared with the samples cured at the high temperature, the anticorrosion performance of the coatings with the low curing temperature is worse, and the decrease rate of the anticorrosion performance is slower, because of the poor curing state and low adhesion obtained at the low temperature. 展开更多

[Objective] An approach of stress relaxation was proposed in present work to investigate the interactions among the waterproof agent, preservative and wood.[Method] Paraffin emulsion waterproof using natural surfactants was prepared at different concentrations of 0.5% and 2.0%,which were added into two concentrations(0.3%,0.5%) of copper azole(CA) to obtain compound systems, and one-time fullcell process was applied to treat the sapwood of Pinus spp.with a size of 10 mm(L) ×10 mm(R) ×10 mm(T).[Result] Compressive stress relaxation behaviors at two moisture levels and room temperature were measured and the results were as follows:1) compared with control group, the stress relaxation of compound system treated groups reduced, whether at oven-dried state or air-dried state.2) Under oven-dried condition,CA could weaken the relaxation of treated samples and this effect became greater with increasing concentration of preservative, but an increase in the concentration of paraffin emulsion would slightly promote the relaxation of compound system treated samples. While under air-dried condition, both CA and paraffin wax emulsion lowered the relaxation which was inversely related to the concentrations of both agents.[Conclusion] The results were expected to shed new light on the various macroscopic properties of the compound system treated wood at a microscopic level, and to provide favorable scientific evidences and theoretical supports for the manufacture of waterproofing preservative-treated wood. 展开更多

In Japan, floods occur frequently in urban areas because non-infiltrating areas are seeing increased urbanization. To prevent floods, urban basins must improve the infiltration capacity and water retention of the whole basin. There are several basic technologies for river basin management, such as infiltration trenches or rainwater storage. However, a method of soil amendment that prevents flood disasters has not been established. This study aims to evaluate the infiltration capacity of soil amendments using bamboo charcoal and humus. A constant-head infiltration test and rainfall simulation were conducted to evaluate the properties of the soil amendments. The constant-head infiltration test's results showed that soils mixed with 30% humus had the greatest potential for influencing initial and final infiltration rates, and the more the mixing rates of bamboo charcoal and humus were increased, the higher the water retention capacity. The results of the rainfall simulation showed that soils mixed with 30% humus had the highest final infiltration rates and lowest multiplication spillage. To reduce the runoff volume using soil amendment technology, it is important to delay overland flow, and the hydraulic properties of the soils mixed with bamboo charcoal and humus were as effective as those of granite soils. 展开更多
