It is defined as a diffuse malignant epithelial neoplasia localized in the dermis and subcutis without epidermal involvement, showing variable amounts of signet ring cells, without evidence of visceral adenocarcinoma. We present 2 cases of PCSRCC, which involved eyelids and axilla respectively. Despite thorough systemic workup, primary sources could not be demonstrated in either case. The tumor cells are positive for gross cystic disease fluid protein 15 in addition to a variety of glandular markers. Furthermore, both cases were immunostained with cytokeratin 20 (CK20). In conclusion, we report 2 cases of PCSRCC expressing CK20 immunoreactivity. CK20-positive primary cutaneous tumors should include PCSRCC in addition to Merkel cell carcinoma.展开更多

It was found that three silicate minerals all exhibited good floatability with Gemini cationic surfactants as collectors over a wide pH range, while BDDA showed a stronger collecting power than EDDA. FTIR spectra and zeta potential analysis indicated that the mechanism of adsorption of Gemini collector molecules on three silicate minerals surfaces was almost identical for the electronic attraction and hydrogen bonds effect. The theoretically obtained results of density functional theory (DFT) at B3LYP/6-31G (d) level demonstrated the stronger collecting power of BDDA presented in the floatation test and zeta potential measurement.展开更多

The test results display:oxytocin immuno reactive (OT-IR) neuronsw eremainly distributed arcuate nucleus,supraoptic nucleus and paraventricular nucleus,and OT-IR neurons was also found in ventromedial nucleus,ventrolateralis nucleus,suprachiasmaticus nucleus,dorsomedial nucleus,mamillary body,anterior hypothalamic nucleus and so on. The OT immunoactive production was found in pituitary and few OT-IR nerve fibers extended to post pituitary from hypophyseal stalk and medium eminence. In ovaries,OT immunoactive productions were only distributed in germinal epithelium cells,granulosa cells and lutein cells. The OT was first discovered in singulorum link of hypothalamatic-pituitary-ovary axis of Guangxi local buffalo. Objective: We sought to report a series of ...Background: We observed seborrheic keratoses with many basilar clear cells, creating a microscopic pattern that mimicked a seborrheic keratosis involved by melanoma in situ. Objective: We sought to report a series of these seborrheic keratoses and the immunohistochemical stains used to reach a proper diagnosis. Methods: We reviewed 9 cases of seborrheic keratosis that had a distinctive pattern of basal clear cells with ample cytoplasm. All cases were evaluated by conventional microscopy, and Melan-A, S- 100, and high molecular weight keratin 903 immunostains. Results: The basal clear cells failed to react with Melan-A and S- 100 protein antisera. In contrast, these cells labeled with an antikeratin antibody in all cases. In all, 7/9 (78% ) showed immunopositivity only at the peripheries of cells, creating a pattern that could be mistaken for a negative stain if not examined at high magnification. Limitations: This is a retrospective review of cases limited to a large referral dermatopathology service. Conclusions: We describe a previously uncharacterized pattern of seborrheic keratosis that can microscopically mimic melanoma in situ. Careful conventional microscopy coupled with a panel of immunostains can allow the proper diagnosis to be reached.展开更多

METHODS: In total, 199 oral squamous-cell carcinoma (SCC), 317 esophagea! SCC, 196 gastric cardia and non-cardia adenocarcinoma and 240 colon adenocarcinoma patients were recruited for serum tests of Hpylori infection. Two hospital- and one community-based control groups were used for the comparisons. Hpylori seropositivity was determined by an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay method against Hpylori IgG. RESULTS: Presence of H pylori infection was significantly inversely associated with esophageal SCC [adjusted odds ratio (AOR): 0.315-0.472, all P-value 〈 0.05] but positively associated with gastric adenocarcinoma (both cardia and non-cardia) (AOR: 1.636-3.060, all P-value 〈 0.05) in comparison to the three control groups. Similar results were not found in cancers of the oral cavity and colon. CONCLUSION: Our findings support the finding that H pylori seropositivity is inversely associated with esophageal SCC risk, but increases the risk of gastric cardia adenocarcinoma.展开更多

METHODS:A total of 48 HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B patients who were ad...AIM:To evaluate the durability in hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) positive chronic hepatitis B patients who discontinued antiviral treatment. METHODS:A total of 48 HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B patients who were administered nucleoside analogues and maintained virological response for ≥ 6 mo [hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA < 300 copies/mL and HBeAg seroconversion] before cessation of treatment were enrolled between February 2007 and January 2010. The criteria for the cessation of the antiviral treatment were defined as follows:(1) achievement of virological response; and (2) duration of consolidation therapy (≥ 6 mo). After treatment cessation, the patients were followed up at 3-6 mo intervals. The primary endpoint was serologic and virologic recurrence rates after withdrawal of antiviral treatment. Serologic recurrence was defined as reappearance of HBeAg positivity after HBeAg seroconversion. Virologic recurrence was defined as an increase in HBV-DNA level > 104 copies/mL after HBeAg seroconversion with previously undetectable HBV-DNA level. RESULTS:During the median follow-up period of 18.2 mo (range:5.1-47.5 mo) after cessation of antiviral treatment, the cumulative serological recurrence rate was 15 % at 12 mo. The median duration between the cessation of antiviral treatment and serologic recurrence was 7.2 mo (range:1.2-10.9 mo). Of the 48 patients with HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis, 20 (41.6%) showed virological recurrence. The cumulative virologic recurrence rates at 12 mo after discontinuing the antiviral agent were 41%. The median duration between off-treatment and virologic recurrence was 7.6 mo (range:4.3-27.1 mo). The mean age of the virological recurrence group was older than that of the non-recurrence group (46.7 ± 12.1 years vs 38.8 ± 12.7 years, respectively; P = 0.022). Age (> 40 years) and the duration of consolidation treatment (≥ 15 mo) were significant predictive factors for offtreatment durability in the multivariate analysis [P = 0.049, relative risk (RR) 0.31, 95% CI (0.096-0.998) and P = 0.005, RR 11.29, 95% CI (2.054-65.12), respectively]. Patients with age (≤ 40 years) who received consolidation treatment (≥ 15 mo) significantly showed durability in HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B patients (P = 0.014). These results suggest that additional treatment for more than 15 mo after HBeAg seroconversion in patients who are ≤ 40 years old may be beneficial in providing a sustained virological response. CONCLUSION:Our data suggest that HBeAg seroconversion is an imperfect end point in antiviral treatment. Long-term consolidation treatment (≥ 15 mo) in younger patients is important for producing better prognosis in HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B.展开更多
Objective:We studied the clinicopathological and immunohistochemical features of olfactory neuroblastoma(ONB).Methods:The clinic pathological data and immunohistochemical features of 15 cases with ONB were analyzed re...Objective:We studied the clinicopathological and immunohistochemical features of olfactory neuroblastoma(ONB).Methods:The clinic pathological data and immunohistochemical features of 15 cases with ONB were analyzed retrospectively,and the related literatures were reviewed.Results:The tumors were all located in the nasal cavity in 15 cases.According to Kadish's staging system,7 cases were in stage A,5 cases in stage B,and 3 cases in stage C.The morphological features showed small round or ovoid tumor cells divided into pieces or trabeculae by connective tissues which were rich in capillaries.The tumor cells had round or oval nuclei and fine chromatins and lack of cytoplasma.Flexner rosette and Homer-Wright rosette were found in some cases.Acidophilic fibrins were composed of cytoplasmic projection among tumor cells.All cases were positive for NSE,Syn,CgA,1 case was positive for Vimentin,2 cases were positive for S-100,while CKpan,LCA and HMB45 were all negative.Conclusion:ONB is a type of very rare malignant tumors,which could be diagnosed by pathology,and immunohistochemistry is helpful in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis.展开更多

The overall sero-prevalence of the investigated equines was 32.7%. Antibodies to T. gondii were found in 38% of 100 horses and 27.6% of 105 donkeys. The titers were 1:2 (4 heads), 1:4 (11 heads), 1:8 (13 heads), 1:16 (17 heads), 1:32 (5 heads), 1:64 (10 donkeys) and 1:128 (7 donkeys). Neither the area nor animal species showed significant differences between the investigated groups. However, age was reported to show significant (P 〈 0.05) effect on equine toxoplasmosis in the Sudan. This is the first report on equine toxoplasmosis in the Sudan.展开更多
This study explores the origins and current status of the Gallo language at school--a minority language spoken in the eastern part of Brittany--among older speakers (group 1-41 informants) and students of Gallo (gr...This study explores the origins and current status of the Gallo language at school--a minority language spoken in the eastern part of Brittany--among older speakers (group 1-41 informants) and students of Gallo (group 2-17 informants). The paper discusses different pedagogical methods, learning materials, and learners' status. The most important mission of schools is to increase public awareness about their linguistic environment which helps reassert minority identity through language acquisition and linguistic maintenance. Implementing an educational language curriculum for regional languages constitutes a main step towards the preservation of linguistic minorities. According to the informants interviewed during the fieldwork, both groups express positive reactions towards the presence of Gallo at school (group 1--80%; group 2--92.9%). However, in follow-up discussions, a certain number of older speakers seem to be more reluctant, because the variety of Gallo taught at school is different from the one which was transmitted to them. In conclusion, bilingual and immersion programs are increasingly successful in Brittany and could lead to a wider recognition of Eastern Brittany's language and culture.展开更多

A proportion of patients have resolved prior exposure to HBV, as evidenced by the clearance of circulating hepatitis B surface antigen and the appearance of antibody to hepatitis B core antigen (anti-HBc), which could produce protective antibody to hepatitis B surface antigen (anti-HBs). With time, anti-HBs in some patients may become negative. Such patients are described as having occult HBV infection or "anti-HBc alone". In the context of immunodef icient patients, such as HIV patients or lymphoma patients undergoing immunosuppressive immunotherapy, the lack of protective anti-HBs may increase the risk of hepatitis B reactivation. Serum HBV DNA testing may be necessary in "anti-HBc alone" patients, to detect patients at a high risk of developing HBV infection allowing appropriate prophylactic management.展开更多

Comprehensive curative effects were determined by Northwick Park Questionnaire (NPO) according to Criteria of Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect of Diseases and Syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Results Eighteen cases with NPQ effect size ≥90% account for 36%; 27 cases with 90%〉NPO. effect size≥60% account for 54%; 3 cases with 60%〉NPQ effect size≥30% account for 6%; 2 cases with no improvement in symptom and body activity account for 4%. The total effective rate was up to 96%. Conclusion Stuck needle therapy on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy has significant curative effects.展开更多

Methods Positive reaction points on taiyang meridian of the medial border of scapulae on the both sides of the back were selected for prick-bloodletting combined with cupping, and the treatment was conducted once every three days,3 treatments as one course of treatment and 2–3 courses of treatment were needed. Results After treatment for two courses of treatment, the total effective rate of the 52 patients was 96.2%. Conclusion The application of the theory of corresponding meridian of meridians and collaterals in treatment of acne made the treatment simple and convenient; with less acupoints selected, rapid effect and definite clinical efficacy, this method is worthy of being generalized.展开更多
Cobalt tetra(2,4-dichloro-1,3,5-triazine)aminophthalocyanine (CoPc) was immobilized covalently on activated carbon fiber (ACF) felt to obtain CoPc-modified ACF (CoPc-ACF) catalyst, and an electrocatalytic oxid...Cobalt tetra(2,4-dichloro-1,3,5-triazine)aminophthalocyanine (CoPc) was immobilized covalently on activated carbon fiber (ACF) felt to obtain CoPc-modified ACF (CoPc-ACF) catalyst, and an electrocatalytic oxidation system using CoPc-ACF as the anode was constructed. The electrocatalytic oxidation of Acid Red 1 (ARI) was investigated in aqueous solution by an UV-vis spectrophotometer and UPLC. The results indicated that AR1 could be eliminated efficiently in this electrocatalytic oxidation system. In addition, the results of FTIR, TOC and GC-MS suggested that the electrocatalytic oxidation experienced the decoloration achieved by destroying the azo linkage and the further mineralization due to the cleavages of benzene ring and naphthalene ring. The intermediates were mainly small molecular compounds such as maleic acid and succinic acid, etc. Re- petitive tests showed that CoPc-ACF can maintain high electrocatalytic activity over several cycles. The further EPR spin-trap experiments indicated that the hydroxyl radicals did not dominate the reaction in this electrocatalytic system, which was com- pletely different from the traditional electro-Fenton system. Based on the non-radical reaction mechanism, the CoPc-modified ACF electrocatalyst has potential application in treating actual dyestuffs wastewaters, which are accompanied with high concentration of hydroxyl radical scavengers such as chlorine ions and additives in the textile printing and dyeing industry.展开更多

Here we i...The bed nucleus of the stria terminalis(BNST) plays a critical role in regulating anxiety, yet the involved specific cell types and their connections functioning in anxiety-related behaviors remains elusive. Here we identified two cell subpopulations—corticotropin-releasing hormone-positive(CRH+) and protein kinase C-δ-positive(PKC-δ+) neurons—each displayed discrete emotionally valenced behaviors in the anterior-dorsal BNST(ad BNST). Using whole-cell patch-clamp recordings and virus-assisted circuit tracing techniques, we delineated the local and long-range connectivity networks in a cell-type-specific manner. The results show that the CRH+ and PKC-δ+ neurons received inputs from similar brain regions and exhibited significant differences in the downstream projection density. In addition, in vivo calcium imaging as well as gain-and loss-of-function studies characterized the physiological response properties and the functional heterogeneities in modulating anxiety, further suggesting the similarity and individuality between the two ad BNST cell types. These results provide novel insights into the circuit architecture of ad BNST neurons underlying the functionally specific neural pathways that relate to anxiety disorders.展开更多

The refractive index o...We present a facile method for producing superhydrophobic nanograss-coated (SNGC) glass surfaces that possess both reduced reflectivity and self-cleaning properties at the air/glass interface. The refractive index of a CaF2 nanograss (NG) layer on a glass substrate, deposited by glancing angle vapor deposition, is 1.04 at 500 nm, which is the second-lowest value ever reported so far. The fluorinated NG layer gives rise to a high water contact angle (〉150°) and very efficient cleaning out of dust with water drops. Using the dual functionalities of the SNGC glass, we demonstrate superhydrophobic and antireflective organic photovoltaic cells with excellent power conversion efficiency.展开更多

RESULTS: Presence of H pylori infection was significantly inversely associated with esophageal SCC [adjusted odds ratio (AOR): 0.315-0.472, all P-value 〈 0.05] but positively associated with gastric adenocarcinoma (both cardia and non-cardia) (AOR: 1.636-3.060, all P-value 〈 0.05) in comparison to the three control groups. Similar results were not found in cancers of the oral cavity and colon. CONCLUSION: Our findings support the finding that H pylori seropositivity is inversely associated with esophageal SCC risk, but increases the risk of gastric cardia adenocarcinoma.
文摘AIM:To evaluate the durability in hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) positive chronic hepatitis B patients who discontinued antiviral treatment. METHODS:A total of 48 HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B patients who were administered nucleoside analogues and maintained virological response for ≥ 6 mo [hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA < 300 copies/mL and HBeAg seroconversion] before cessation of treatment were enrolled between February 2007 and January 2010. The criteria for the cessation of the antiviral treatment were defined as follows:(1) achievement of virological response; and (2) duration of consolidation therapy (≥ 6 mo). After treatment cessation, the patients were followed up at 3-6 mo intervals. The primary endpoint was serologic and virologic recurrence rates after withdrawal of antiviral treatment. Serologic recurrence was defined as reappearance of HBeAg positivity after HBeAg seroconversion. Virologic recurrence was defined as an increase in HBV-DNA level > 104 copies/mL after HBeAg seroconversion with previously undetectable HBV-DNA level. RESULTS:During the median follow-up period of 18.2 mo (range:5.1-47.5 mo) after cessation of antiviral treatment, the cumulative serological recurrence rate was 15 % at 12 mo. The median duration between the cessation of antiviral treatment and serologic recurrence was 7.2 mo (range:1.2-10.9 mo). Of the 48 patients with HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis, 20 (41.6%) showed virological recurrence. The cumulative virologic recurrence rates at 12 mo after discontinuing the antiviral agent were 41%. The median duration between off-treatment and virologic recurrence was 7.6 mo (range:4.3-27.1 mo). The mean age of the virological recurrence group was older than that of the non-recurrence group (46.7 ± 12.1 years vs 38.8 ± 12.7 years, respectively; P = 0.022). Age (> 40 years) and the duration of consolidation treatment (≥ 15 mo) were significant predictive factors for offtreatment durability in the multivariate analysis [P = 0.049, relative risk (RR) 0.31, 95% CI (0.096-0.998) and P = 0.005, RR 11.29, 95% CI (2.054-65.12), respectively]. Patients with age (≤ 40 years) who received consolidation treatment (≥ 15 mo) significantly showed durability in HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B patients (P = 0.014). These results suggest that additional treatment for more than 15 mo after HBeAg seroconversion in patients who are ≤ 40 years old may be beneficial in providing a sustained virological response. CONCLUSION:Our data suggest that HBeAg seroconversion is an imperfect end point in antiviral treatment. Long-term consolidation treatment (≥ 15 mo) in younger patients is important for producing better prognosis in HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B.
文摘Objective:We studied the clinicopathological and immunohistochemical features of olfactory neuroblastoma(ONB).Methods:The clinic pathological data and immunohistochemical features of 15 cases with ONB were analyzed retrospectively,and the related literatures were reviewed.Results:The tumors were all located in the nasal cavity in 15 cases.According to Kadish's staging system,7 cases were in stage A,5 cases in stage B,and 3 cases in stage C.The morphological features showed small round or ovoid tumor cells divided into pieces or trabeculae by connective tissues which were rich in capillaries.The tumor cells had round or oval nuclei and fine chromatins and lack of cytoplasma.Flexner rosette and Homer-Wright rosette were found in some cases.Acidophilic fibrins were composed of cytoplasmic projection among tumor cells.All cases were positive for NSE,Syn,CgA,1 case was positive for Vimentin,2 cases were positive for S-100,while CKpan,LCA and HMB45 were all negative.Conclusion:ONB is a type of very rare malignant tumors,which could be diagnosed by pathology,and immunohistochemistry is helpful in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
文摘Environmental enrichment increases the expression of behavior and welfare. The aim of the study was to analyze situation of the social enrichment (training) of big cats and cheetahs in Czech and Slovak zoos based on the evaluation questionnaire. It was found out that social enrichment, as part of the environmental enrichment, was used in 50% of animal, 16 animal get training only. A lot of animal had positive reactions on enrichment.
文摘A serological survey of Toxoplasma gondii was conducted using LAT (Latex Agglutination Test) on 205 sera collected from working horses and donkeys in Khartoum State, Sudan. The overall sero-prevalence of the investigated equines was 32.7%. Antibodies to T. gondii were found in 38% of 100 horses and 27.6% of 105 donkeys. The titers were 1:2 (4 heads), 1:4 (11 heads), 1:8 (13 heads), 1:16 (17 heads), 1:32 (5 heads), 1:64 (10 donkeys) and 1:128 (7 donkeys). Neither the area nor animal species showed significant differences between the investigated groups. However, age was reported to show significant (P 〈 0.05) effect on equine toxoplasmosis in the Sudan. This is the first report on equine toxoplasmosis in the Sudan.
文摘This study explores the origins and current status of the Gallo language at school--a minority language spoken in the eastern part of Brittany--among older speakers (group 1-41 informants) and students of Gallo (group 2-17 informants). The paper discusses different pedagogical methods, learning materials, and learners' status. The most important mission of schools is to increase public awareness about their linguistic environment which helps reassert minority identity through language acquisition and linguistic maintenance. Implementing an educational language curriculum for regional languages constitutes a main step towards the preservation of linguistic minorities. According to the informants interviewed during the fieldwork, both groups express positive reactions towards the presence of Gallo at school (group 1--80%; group 2--92.9%). However, in follow-up discussions, a certain number of older speakers seem to be more reluctant, because the variety of Gallo taught at school is different from the one which was transmitted to them. In conclusion, bilingual and immersion programs are increasingly successful in Brittany and could lead to a wider recognition of Eastern Brittany's language and culture.
文摘Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is endemic in various parts of the world. A proportion of patients have resolved prior exposure to HBV, as evidenced by the clearance of circulating hepatitis B surface antigen and the appearance of antibody to hepatitis B core antigen (anti-HBc), which could produce protective antibody to hepatitis B surface antigen (anti-HBs). With time, anti-HBs in some patients may become negative. Such patients are described as having occult HBV infection or "anti-HBc alone". In the context of immunodef icient patients, such as HIV patients or lymphoma patients undergoing immunosuppressive immunotherapy, the lack of protective anti-HBs may increase the risk of hepatitis B reactivation. Serum HBV DNA testing may be necessary in "anti-HBc alone" patients, to detect patients at a high risk of developing HBV infection allowing appropriate prophylactic management.
文摘Objective To discuss the role of stuck needle therapy on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Method Fifty patients with cervical spondylot-ic radiculopathy were selected to accepted stuck needle therapy. Comprehensive curative effects were determined by Northwick Park Questionnaire (NPO) according to Criteria of Diagnosis and Therapeutic Effect of Diseases and Syndromes in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Results Eighteen cases with NPQ effect size ≥90% account for 36%; 27 cases with 90%〉NPO. effect size≥60% account for 54%; 3 cases with 60%〉NPQ effect size≥30% account for 6%; 2 cases with no improvement in symptom and body activity account for 4%. The total effective rate was up to 96%. Conclusion Stuck needle therapy on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy has significant curative effects.
文摘Objective To introduce the experience of professor YIN Ke-jing in selecting reaction points on taiyang meridian on the back for acne. Methods Positive reaction points on taiyang meridian of the medial border of scapulae on the both sides of the back were selected for prick-bloodletting combined with cupping, and the treatment was conducted once every three days,3 treatments as one course of treatment and 2–3 courses of treatment were needed. Results After treatment for two courses of treatment, the total effective rate of the 52 patients was 96.2%. Conclusion The application of the theory of corresponding meridian of meridians and collaterals in treatment of acne made the treatment simple and convenient; with less acupoints selected, rapid effect and definite clinical efficacy, this method is worthy of being generalized.

文摘Cobalt tetra(2,4-dichloro-1,3,5-triazine)aminophthalocyanine (CoPc) was immobilized covalently on activated carbon fiber (ACF) felt to obtain CoPc-modified ACF (CoPc-ACF) catalyst, and an electrocatalytic oxidation system using CoPc-ACF as the anode was constructed. The electrocatalytic oxidation of Acid Red 1 (ARI) was investigated in aqueous solution by an UV-vis spectrophotometer and UPLC. The results indicated that AR1 could be eliminated efficiently in this electrocatalytic oxidation system. In addition, the results of FTIR, TOC and GC-MS suggested that the electrocatalytic oxidation experienced the decoloration achieved by destroying the azo linkage and the further mineralization due to the cleavages of benzene ring and naphthalene ring. The intermediates were mainly small molecular compounds such as maleic acid and succinic acid, etc. Re- petitive tests showed that CoPc-ACF can maintain high electrocatalytic activity over several cycles. The further EPR spin-trap experiments indicated that the hydroxyl radicals did not dominate the reaction in this electrocatalytic system, which was com- pletely different from the traditional electro-Fenton system. Based on the non-radical reaction mechanism, the CoPc-modified ACF electrocatalyst has potential application in treating actual dyestuffs wastewaters, which are accompanied with high concentration of hydroxyl radical scavengers such as chlorine ions and additives in the textile printing and dyeing industry.

文摘The bed nucleus of the stria terminalis(BNST) plays a critical role in regulating anxiety, yet the involved specific cell types and their connections functioning in anxiety-related behaviors remains elusive. Here we identified two cell subpopulations—corticotropin-releasing hormone-positive(CRH+) and protein kinase C-δ-positive(PKC-δ+) neurons—each displayed discrete emotionally valenced behaviors in the anterior-dorsal BNST(ad BNST). Using whole-cell patch-clamp recordings and virus-assisted circuit tracing techniques, we delineated the local and long-range connectivity networks in a cell-type-specific manner. The results show that the CRH+ and PKC-δ+ neurons received inputs from similar brain regions and exhibited significant differences in the downstream projection density. In addition, in vivo calcium imaging as well as gain-and loss-of-function studies characterized the physiological response properties and the functional heterogeneities in modulating anxiety, further suggesting the similarity and individuality between the two ad BNST cell types. These results provide novel insights into the circuit architecture of ad BNST neurons underlying the functionally specific neural pathways that relate to anxiety disorders.
文摘We present a facile method for producing superhydrophobic nanograss-coated (SNGC) glass surfaces that possess both reduced reflectivity and self-cleaning properties at the air/glass interface. The refractive index of a CaF2 nanograss (NG) layer on a glass substrate, deposited by glancing angle vapor deposition, is 1.04 at 500 nm, which is the second-lowest value ever reported so far. The fluorinated NG layer gives rise to a high water contact angle (〉150°) and very efficient cleaning out of dust with water drops. Using the dual functionalities of the SNGC glass, we demonstrate superhydrophobic and antireflective organic photovoltaic cells with excellent power conversion efficiency.
