According to the equivalent surface impedance boundary condition, the relationship between transverse field components on the boundary can be easily depicted. Once the eigen equation is solved, the propagation constant can be obtained as the eigen value for a given frequency. Results of the proposed method agaree well with those of high frequency structure simulator(HFSS).展开更多

By using the approximate field-matching conditions, the dispersion equation and the coupling impedance of this circuit are obtained. The dispersion curves and coupling impedances of the fundamental wave are calculated and the influences of the various geometrical dimensions are discussed. The results show that the bandwidth of the cosine-shaped groove SWS is much wider than that of rectangular-shaped groove one. And reducing the groove width can broaden the frequency-band and decrease the phase-velocity,while increment of the groove-depth can also decrease phase-velocity. For above cases, the coupling impedance is more than 16Ω. The present analysis will be helpful on further study and design of the RF systems used in millimeter wave Traveling Wave Tube (TWT).展开更多

Its biggest problem is the number of unknown is much more than the number of the equations, this result in the low imaging quality. Especially, it can not imaging in center area. For this problem, we induce the CS technique into EIT image reconstruction algorithm. The main contributions in this paper are: firstly, built up the relationship between CS and EIT definitely; secondly, sparse reconstruction is a critical step in CS, built up a general sparse regularization model based on EIT; finally, gives out some EIT imaging models based on sparse regularization method. For different scenarios, compared with traditional Tikhonov regularization (smooth regularization) method, sparse reconstruction method is not only better at anti-noise, and imaging in center area, but also faster and better resolution.展开更多

The corrosion tests are carried out at different temperatures in the concentration range of 0.01N to 1N sulphuric acid as corrosion media using Tafel extrapolation technique and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). The results obtained from Tafel extrapolation technique and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy are in good agreement. The results show an increase in the corrosion rate with increase in temperature as well as with increase in the concentration of the corrosion media. The thermodynamic parameters like energy of activation are calculated using Arrhenius theory equation and, enthalpy of activation and entropy of activation are calculated using transition state theory equation.展开更多

By adjusting the circuit parameters, such a network can be transformed into several different networks with a variety of functions, such as a regular ladder network and a triangular network. We derive two new formulae for equivalent resistance in the resistor network and equivalent impedance in the LC network, which are in the fractional-order domain. First, we simplify the complex network into a simple equivalent model. Second, using Kirchhoff's laws, we establish a fractional difference equation. Third, we construct an equivalent transformation method to obtain a general solution for the nonlinear differential equation. In practical applications, several interesting special results are obtained. In particular, an n-step impedance LC network is discussed and many new char- acteristics of complex impedance have been found.展开更多
