In order to solve the problem of semantic heterogeneity in information integration, an ontology based semantic information integration (OSII) model and its logical framework are proposed. The OSII adopts the hybrid ontology approach and uses OWL (web ontology language) as the ontology language. It obtains unified views from multiple sources by building mappings between local ontologies and the global ontology. A tree- based multi-strategy ontology mapping algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is achieved by the following four steps: pre-processing, name mapping, subtree mapping and remedy mapping. The advantages of this algorithm are: mapping in the compatible datatype categories and using heuristic rules can improve mapping efficiency; both linguistic and structural similarity are used to improve the accuracy of the similarity calculation; an iterative remedy is adopted to obtain correct and complete mappings. A challenging example is used to illustrate the validity of the algorithm. The OSII is realized to effectively solve the problem of semantic heterogeneity in information integration and to implement interoperability of multiple information sources. 展开更多

A novel technique to fabricate ultra deep high aspect ratio electrical isolation trenches with DRIE and dielectric refill is presented.The relationship between trench profile and DRIE parameters is discussed.By optimizing DRIE parameters and RIE etching the trenches’ opening,the ideal trench profile is obtained to ensure that the trenches are fully refilled without voids.The electrical isolation trenches are 5μm wide and 92μm deep with 0.5μm thick oxide layers on the sidewall as isolation material.The measured I-V result shows that the trench structure has good electrical isolation performance:the average resistance in the range of 0~100V is more than 10 11Ω and no breakdown appears under 100V.This isolation trench structure has been used in fabrication of the bulk integrated micromachined gyroscope,which shows high performance. 展开更多

Towards integration of supply chain, manufacturing/production and investment decision making, this paper presents a hierarchical model architecture which contains six sub-models covering the areas of manufacturing control, production operation, design and revamp, production management, supply chain and investment decision making. Six types of flow, material, energy, information, humanware, partsware and capital are clasified. These flows connect enterprise components/subsystems to formulate system topology and logical structure. Enterprise components/subsystems are abstracted to generic elementary and composite classes. A novel heat-integrated distillation scheme on pilot scale for producing C5 foaming agent, a mixture of isopentane and pentane in a certain proportion, was proposed with the aid of process simulation. Compared with the conventional distillation scheme, C5 foaming agent was directly separated at the top of the original isopentane or pentane column in the novel scheme, instead of first refining the two isomerides to high purities and then mixing them into final products. This improvement reduced the difficulty of the separation and avoided meaningless exergy loss caused by re-mixing, which finally contributed to an energy-efficient design by a big margin. Moreover, the column grand composite curves(CGCCs)were used to modify all distillation columns, indicating that there is potential to improve the energy efficiency further. Therefore, double-effect, or heat-integrated distillation was also adopted. Energy and exergy analyses were then conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme for the purpose of energy saving. The simulation results of the conventional distillation scheme were in agreement with its on-site counterpart. Analyses showed that the novel heat-integrated scheme reduced hot utility by 27.12%,, cold utility by 24.49%,, and total exergy loss by 23.95%,. 展开更多

Driven by an ever-increasing num- ber of new services and applications, transport networks have been undergoing significant changes. In this paper, we describe several ex- citing technology directions associated with future optical transport networks. We review the status of 100G, which is now commercially available and entering volume deployments, and its applications in China. Beyond 100G is considered as the primary technology for the expansion of both channel and fiber capacity in tile near term, and several enabling techniques are introduced. Then, key technologies, prod- ucts, and future evolutionary options of Optical Transport Networks (OTNs) are extensively discussed. Compared to fixed bandwidth and coarse granularity of current WDM network, a flexible grid architecture is a desirable evolu- tion trend, and key technologies and challenges are described. Finally, we illustrate the multi-dimension convergences in terms of IP and optical, Packet OTN (P-OTN), as well as Electronic Integrated Circuits (EICs) and Photonic Integrated Cimuits (PICs). The paper is devoted to proposing a constitutive model based on micromechanics. The joints in rock masses are treated as penny-shaped inclusion in solid but not through structural planes by considering joint density, closure effect, joint geometry. The mechanical behavior of the joints is represented by an elasto-plastic constitutive law. Mori-Tanaka method is used to derive the relationship between the joint deformations and macroscopic strains. The incremental stress-strain relationship of rock masses is formulated by taking the volume average of the representative volume element. Meanwhile, the behavior of joints is obtained. By using implicit integration algorithms, the consistent tangent moduli are proposed and the method of updating stresses and joint displacements is presented. Some examples are calculated by ABAQUS user defined material subroutine based on this model. 展开更多
