Investigation on landslide phenomenon is necessary for understanding and delineating the landslide prone and safer places for different land use practices. On this basis, a new model known as genetic algorithm for the rule set production was applied in order to assess its efficacy to obtain a better result and a more precise landslide susceptibility map in Klijanerestagh area of Iran. This study considered twelve landslide conditioning factors(LCF) like altitude, slope, aspect, plan curvature, profile curvature, topographic wetness index(TWI), distance from rivers, faults, and roads, land use/cover, and lithology. For modeling purpose, the Genetic Algorithm for the Rule Set Production(GARP) algorithm was applied in order to produce the landslide susceptibility map. Finally, to evaluate the efficacy of the GARP model, receiver operating characteristics curve as well as the Kappa index were employed. Based on these indices, the GARP model predicted the probability of future landslide incidences with the area under the receiver operating characteristics curve(AUC-ROC) values of 0.932, and 0.907 for training and validating datasets, respectively. In addition, Kappa values for the training and validating datasets were computed as 0.775, and 0.716, respectively. Thus, it can be concluded that the GARP algorithm can be a new but effective method for generating landslide susceptibility maps(LSMs). Furthermore, higher contribution of the lithology, distance from roads, and distance from faults was observed, while lower contribution was attributed to soil, profile curvature, and TWI factors. The introduced methodology in this paper can be suggested for other areas with similar topographical and hydrogeological characteristics for land use planning and reducing the landslide damages. 展开更多

Recently, a kind of hybrid solution MEA-methanol shows a better CO_2 capture performance over aqueous MEA solution. However, the vaporization of methanol is the biggest disadvantage that hinders its application, so it is necessary to minimize the vaporization of methanol during both the absorption and regeneration processes. In this work, two kinds of hybrid solutions were studied and compared with aqueous MEA solution and MEA-methanol solution, including MEA/TEA/methanol solution and MEA/glycerol/methanol solution. The absorption property of MEA/glycerol/methanol solution is better than aqueous MEA solution within a certain period of time and the absorption property of MEA/TEA/methanol solution is too poor to be used in CO_2 capture. By increasing the concentration of TEA and decreasing the concentration of MEA, the absorption rate, CO_2 capture efficiency and absorption capacity all decreased. Upon adding glycerol, the cyclic capacity decreased and the generation temperature increased, and moreover, the density and viscosity also increased considerably. So after adding TEA and glycerol, the CO_2 capture performance of MEAmethanol solvent cannot be improved. 展开更多

The purpose of this paper is to establish some facts about the action of linear character group on non-linear irreducible characters and determine the structures of groups G for which either all the orbit kernels are trivial or the number of orbits is at most two. Temperature-dependent aggregation is a key property for some donor polymers to realize favorable bulk-heterojunction(BHJ)morphologies and high-efficiency(>10%) polymer solar cells.Previous studies find that an important structural feature that enables such temperature-dependent aggregation property is the 2nd position branched alkyl chains sitting between two thiophene units.In this report,we demonstrate that an optimal extent of fluorination on the polymer backbone is a second essential structural feature that enables the strong temperature-dependent aggregation property.We compare the properties of three structurally similar polymers with 0,2 or 4 fluorine substitutions in each repeating unit through an in-depth morphological study.We show that the non-fluorinated polymer does not aggregate in solution(0.02 mg mL^(-1) in chlorobenzene) at room temperature,which results in poor polymer crystallinity and extremely large polymer domains.On the other hand,the polymer with four fluorine atoms in each repeating unit exhibits an excessively strong tendency to aggregate,which makes it difficult to process and causes a large domain.Only the polymer with two fluorine atoms in each repeating unit exhibits a suitable extent of temperature-dependent aggregation property.As a result,its blend film achieves a favorable morphology and high power conversion efficiency.This provides another key design rationale for developing donor polymers with suitable temperature-dependent aggregation properties and thus high performance. 展开更多
