To solve the query processing correctness problem for semantic-based relational data integration,the semantics of SAPRQL（simple protocol and RDF query language） queries is defined.In the course of query rewriting,al...To solve the query processing correctness problem for semantic-based relational data integration,the semantics of SAPRQL（simple protocol and RDF query language） queries is defined.In the course of query rewriting,all relative tables are found and decomposed into minimal connectable units.Minimal connectable units are joined according to semantic queries to produce the semantically correct query plans.Algorithms for query rewriting and transforming are presented.Computational complexity of the algorithms is discussed.Under the worst case,the query decomposing algorithm can be finished in O（n2） time and the query rewriting algorithm requires O（nm） time.And the performance of the algorithms is verified by experiments,and experimental results show that when the length of query is less than 8,the query processing algorithms can provide satisfactory performance.展开更多
The study examined the effects of counselling on in-school adolescents about HIV/AIDS in Malaysia. A total of 100 male and female students were randomly chosen from three residential commercial areas located in Kuala ...The study examined the effects of counselling on in-school adolescents about HIV/AIDS in Malaysia. A total of 100 male and female students were randomly chosen from three residential commercial areas located in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. A questionnaire on HIV/AIDS symptoms was administered. The findings of the study indicated that two thirds of the interviewed adolescents have high desires to live longer on the earth. Also, adolescents do not associate high death rates of youths with HIV/AIDS symptoms. This report has implications for HIV/AIDS counselling in the Malaysian school system. This is supported by the fact that with the success of retrovirus therapy, many of the infected now live healthier lives and are pursuing a wider range of activities. Many HIV/AIDS infected people today can participate in undergoing their daily life activities, with a significant chance of living longer on the earth. The authors conclude that collaborative partnership between HIV/AIDS services and HIV counselling as part of the integrated system will provide early intervention services to boast relief of anxiety for the young people in Malaysia who already live with HIV/AIDS.展开更多

In order to help the organizations in this endeavor, this paper presents a model for planning and implementation of IMS （integrated management system） for quality and food safety, using the example of biscuit products manufacturing, and explains its conception. The integrative approach is based on the synergetic effect between the mutually related business processes. It has been established that the introduction of the model can help the biscuit producers in efficiently addressing such challenges as limited resources, increasing competition, as well as higher expectations of customers and other stakeholders.展开更多
The paper is devoted to proposing a constitutive model based on micromechanics. The joints in rock masses are treated as penny-shaped inclusion in solid but not through structural planes by considering joint density, ...The paper is devoted to proposing a constitutive model based on micromechanics. The joints in rock masses are treated as penny-shaped inclusion in solid but not through structural planes by considering joint density, closure effect, joint geometry. The mechanical behavior of the joints is represented by an elasto-plastic constitutive law. Mori-Tanaka method is used to derive the relationship between the joint deformations and macroscopic strains. The incremental stress-strain relationship of rock masses is formulated by taking the volume average of the representative volume element. Meanwhile, the behavior of joints is obtained. By using implicit integration algorithms, the consistent tangent moduli are proposed and the method of updating stresses and joint displacements is presented. Some examples are calculated by ABAQUS user defined material subroutine based on this model.展开更多
