A novel high voltage detector that can be integrated into SPIC (Smart Power IC) is proposed.The structure is designed on the basis of normal junction terminal technique of FFLR (Floating Field Limiting Rings) system....A novel high voltage detector that can be integrated into SPIC (Smart Power IC) is proposed.The structure is designed on the basis of normal junction terminal technique of FFLR (Floating Field Limiting Rings) system.The field limiting ring as a voltage divider,is used to optimize the surface field.The voltage of main junction increases from 0 to a high value,while the utmost ring is designed to vary within a small range,which can be handled by using low voltage logic circuits.An example of 400V rings system is analyzed and simulated for this structure.The results prove that the high voltage detector can detect high voltage in SPIC.The structure can be integrated into SPIC.Besides,it is compatible with CMOS or BCD(Bipolar CMOS Dmos) technology,without any additional processes required.展开更多

The framework extends the semantic web mod...An integrated security framework for a semantic web is proposed based on the social intelligence of an individual's avoiding harm and preserving transaction logic-integrity. The framework extends the semantic web model and controls the dynamic security of semantic web services, such as trust, logic and reasoning. It includes four layers, that is, a trust entrance layer, a social intelligence layer, a transaction layer, and a TCP/IP security protocols layer. The trust entrance layer deals with trustable features from users. Social intelligence layer is responsible for logical questions for a semantic web. The transaction layer carries out transaction reasoning. And the TCP/IP security protocols layer ensures security communication. These layers can cooperate to build closed-security-ring with different security grades. The integrated security framework provides an integrated security method for semantic web flow so that it is universal for various semantic web technologies.展开更多

The quasi-optimal plan cannot...Production planning models generated by common modeling systems do not involve constraints for process operations, and a solution optimized by these models is called a quasi-optimal plan. The quasi-optimal plan cannot be executed in practice some time for no corresponding operating conditions. In order to determine a practi- cally feasible optimal plan and corresponding operating conditions of fluidized catalytic cracking unit (FCCU), a novel close-loop integrated strategy, including determination of a quasi-optimal plan, search of operating conditions of FCCU and revision of the production planning model, was proposed in this article. In the strategy, a generalized genetic algorithm (GA) coupled with a sequential process simulator of FCCU was applied to search operating conditions implementing the quasi-optimal plan of FCCU and output the optimal individual in the GA search as a final genetic individual. When no corresponding operating conditions were found, the final genetic individual based correction (FGIC) method was presented to revise the production planning model, and then a new quasi-optimal production plan was determined. The above steps were repeated until a practically feasible optimal plan and corresponding operating conditions of FCCU were obtained. The close-loop integrated strategy was validated by two cases, and it was indicated that the strategy was efficient in determining a practically executed optimal plan and corresponding operating conditions of FCCU.展开更多

Oscillatory process loop variables are automatically selected based on the c...An integrated method for identifying the propagation of multi-loop process oscillations and their source location is proposed in this paper. Oscillatory process loop variables are automatically selected based on the component-related ratio index and a mixing matrix, both of which are obtained in data preprocessing by spectral independent component analysis. The complex causality among oscillatory process variables is then revealed by Granger causality test and is visualized in the form of causality diagram. The simplification of causal connectivity in the diagram is performed according to the understanding of process knowledge and the final simplest causality diagram, which represents the main oscillation propagation paths, is achieved by the automated cutting-off thresh-old search, with which less significant causality pathways are filtered out. The source of the oscillation disturbance can be identified intuitively through the final causality diagram. Both simulated and real plant data tests are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.展开更多

In the beginning the natural and cultural diversity of the Greek landscape as well as its conservation needs are discussed. The landscape impact assessment methodology consists of the identification of environmental goals, of sensitive landscape parameters, of environmental indicators and of acceptable impact thresholds. The selection of alternative solutions as well as of mitigation measures has been studied, on the basis of relevant environmental indicators. However, experiences confirm the fact that the most successful structures, the bridges also, have not got that attribute because of their grandiosity but per their great integration in the nature that is environment. Beside the basic function, that is the usage to man, their integrations in the environment greately enrich the ambience. The old stone bridges are mostly well integrated in the natural environment. In the period of large building, it did not take care of the parameters (the bridges of steel, concrete and prestressed concrete), but great attention was paid to records referring to spans and complicated forms. The author thinks it is necessary to take care about integration of all building structures in the environment, especially bridges. As a good example of successful creation, simplicity of form, and especially good integration in the natural surroundings are three bridges from Montenegro, one of them is old stone bridge, others are reinforced-concrete and steel bridges.展开更多

Then a prototype system was established by utilizing the known knowledge rules,topological relationships, and semantic relationships among strata.This system has a friendly human-computer interface and can meet requirements of mutual queries between attribute and spatial data.The generated profile map is editable.This study provides a new powerful tool for underground mine work.展开更多

As the requirerments increase to describe application processes in BPEL, BPEL documentt is getting more Complplicated. Therefore it is difficult to describe applications in BPEL with high reliability. In order to write highly reliable BPEL document, it is necessary to check if the document is working correctly in accordance with user's intention. But it is difficult to carry out the test since BPEL engine doesn't provide a profiling function. In this paper, we suggest a BPEL system with a real-time profiling function. The suggested system consists of an integrated development environment and a BPEL nunning environment. BPEL integrated development environment has a BPEL to Java(B2J) engine, which generates and executes a Java workflow program from a BPEL document, and a converter, which converts Java Weaving XML (JWX) documents to Aspect-oriented programs. The new functions are described in JWX, which is Extensive Markup Lan-guage (XML)-based document. Since aspect-oriented programming technique provides the way to modularize main and supplemental requirements, it guarantees the low degree of coupling between BPEL workflow program and new functions by weaving them. Our approach can be extended to add other functions to provide context-aware services.展开更多

The ...A Monolithic integrated phase locked-loop (PLL) with a low phase noise is proposed in this paper. Several techniques are utilized to improve the performance of the PLL which works at the milli- meter-wave band. The on-chip high-Q eoplanar waveguides (CPWs) are utilized in the resonant tank and the differential current amplifier with a resonator is used to realize the VCO. In the output buffer circuit, several stages of cascaded source-followers connect and differential amplifiers are adopted to improve the driving capability of the PLL' s output signals. An improved analog multiplier topology is also used in the PD circuit to improve the gain of the PD. The proposed PLL is realized with a 0.2p, m GaAs pseudomorphie high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT) process. At 10 kHz offset from the center frequency, the measured output phase noise of the PLL output is only -88.83dBc/Hz. The circuit exhibits a low root mean sauare (RMS) litter of 1.68Ds.展开更多

This platform singularity requires integration of multiple CAD (computer assisted design) & FEA (finite element analysis) tools processing in batch mode and driven from a SPIE (single platform integration environment). This first module is also to demonstrate, for an axial turbine disc hub axi-symmetric component, feasibility and usefulness of such a platform at preliminary design stage.
