Study on individualized information service for the reader in the library based on the network

With the massive increase of digital resource based on the network,it becomes very important that how to help readers acquire the information needed according to the individualized requirement and interest in an accurate,convenient and prompt method. Therefore,it is very urgent to investigate individualized information service of library. In this paper,based on the development of the individualized information service for the reader in the college library,the individualized information service is clarified by using three perspectives,including establishment of individualized information demand model,integration of internal and external resource and protection of the reader privacy. Finally,the corresponding strategy and related measure are presented.

Research on Mechanism of Diversified Investment and Financing in Building Ecological Cities

Ecological city is the advanced mode of harmonious development of city. Constant improvement is being made in the development of ecological city. However, building ecological city is an enormous project that calls for a huge amount of capital. The government fund is far from adequate. This paper probes into the fund issue and discusses in detail the mechanism of investment and financing in building ecological city from various aspects such as diversification of the investment subjects and the modes of financing.

The Characteristic Patterns of Macrofaunal Fouling Assemblages in Nearshore Waters of the South China Sea

The spatio-temporal patterns of macrofaunal fouling assemblages were quantitatively investigated in the nearshore waters of the South China Sea.The work was undertaken by deploying seasonal panels at two sites(H-site,L-site) for one year,and the fouling communities on the panels were examined and analyzed.The results indicated that species composition of assemblages was obviously different between the two sites.At both sites the assemblages were characteristic with solitary dominant species throughout the year,with Amphibalanus reticulates dominating at H-site and Hydroides elegans at L-site.Shannon index and biomass of the assemblages varied with depth and season at both sites.At H-site the total biomass in summer and autumn were significantly higher than those in spring and winter,while at L-site the assemblage biomass also differed significantly among the four seasons,and the greatest biomass occurred at the depth of 2.0 m in winter.The abundance of all seasonal samples in non-metric multidimensional scaling was clustered as one group at L-site and three groups at H-site.The environmental factors were more likely to be related to the variation of fouling assemblages.Furthermore,it also suggests that in tropical seas the integrated adaptability would qualify a species for dominating a fouling assemblage despite its short life cycle,rather than the usually assumed only species with long life span.This study reveals the complexity and characteristic dynamics of macrofaunal fouling assemblages in the tropical habitats,and the results would provide valuable knowledge for biodiversity and antifouling research.

Research on the path of medical service combination from the perspective of departmental cooperation

As an innovative mode of social endowment, combining medical care with modern medical care technology and old-age service is an important direction of a series of social problems caused by the deepening of aging and the intensification of aging process in China. It is the inevitable choice for the development of Chinese characteristics for the aged. At present, with the continuous development of the combination of medical care and rehabilitation, the process of combination of medical care and breeding is slow, and the problems of inter departmental cooperation, high cost of resource integration and low service efficiency have emerged. The paper puts forward that multi head management of different responsibility management body is a bottleneck problem that hinders the integration of medical care. From the objective and subjective two points of view, the administrative system level barrier and the inter departmental interest game are the important reasons that obstruct the medical support and break through the estrangement of the Department and realize the cooperation. Then, according to the theory of large part system reform, the author boldly proposes the idea of establishing a new comprehensive functional department that specializes in the management of pension related affairs.

Altimeter significant wave height data assimilation in the South China Sea using Ensemble Optimal Interpolation

The application of ensemble optimal interpolation in wave data assimilation in the South China Sea is presented. A sampling strategy for a stationary ensemble is first discussed. The stationary ensemble is constructed by sampling from 24-h-interval significant wave height differences of model outputs over a long period,and is validated with altimeter significant wave height data,indicating that the ensemble errors have nearly the same probability distribution function. The background error covariance fields expressed by the ensemble sampled are anisotropic. Updating the static samples by season,the seasonal characteristics of the correlation coefficient distribution are reflected. Hindcast experiments including assimilation and control runs are conducted for the summer of 2010 in the South China Sea. The effect of ensemble optimal interpolation assimilation on wave hindcasts is validated using different satellite altimeter data(Jason-1 and 2 and ENVISAT) and buoy observations. It is found that the ensemble-optimal-interpolation-based wave assimilation scheme for the South China Sea achieves improvements similar to those of the previous optimal-interpolation-based scheme,indicating that the practical application of this computationally cheap ensemble method is feasible.

This paper investigates the organizational culture of one of the largest auto manufacturers in the world Toyota Motor Corporation using various corporate culture and management models. The investigation was conducted in 2009 using qualitative analysis with the help of various secondary sources. The study reveals that the company＇s management style can be characterized as the Family type that implies collectivistic society with male domination, strict rules and laws at work, and long-term orientation. It is also based on several essential principles, such as continuous improvement and learning, respect for people, mutual trust, and teamwork. Two core elements of the Toyota＇s success are technological innovations and qualified human resources.

Television Programs Development for Elderly in Thailand

The objective of this research was to study the current situation of TV programs aimed at elderly viewers on free TV channels in Thailand. To investigate this topic, a qualitative research approach was applied. The researcher interviewed 30 key informants, consisting of TV administrators, professional experts, academic experts, experts on the elderly, and TV program advertising sponsors. Data were collected using in-depth interviews and analyzed descriptively. This was an interdisciplinary research, drawing from the fields of communication arts, sociology, demography, psychology, management science, and government media policy studies to develop a broad picture of the future of TV programs for the elderly. The major finding was that TV programs aimed specifically at elderly viewers are likely to appear in the near future as Thai society becomes an aging society. The three major factors that will lead to suitable approaches to the development of TV programs for the elderly are： （1） the external factors of the rising numbers of elderly people in the population, CSR （Corporation Social Responsibility） marketing, and government policies; （2） the internal factors of the free TV channels＇ policies and the TV producers＇ policies; and （3） the program-related factors of the value of the elderly in Thai culture, the forms of TV programs for senior viewers, the psychology of the aged, and expansion of target viewer age groups.

The Convergence of Set-Valued Scenario Approach for Downside Risk Minimization

Scenario approach is a widely used tool in portfolio risk management,however,it often runs into dilemma when determining the distribution of asset returns with insufficient information,which will be used to simulate the scenarios.Also the quality of generated scenarios are not guaranteed even when the distribution of asset returns is known exactly.A set-valued scenario approach was proposed by Zhu,et al.(2015)as a possible remedy.As a necessary supplement of the results proposed by Zhu,et al.(2015),this paper theoretically investigates the convergent property of the numerical solution based on the set-valued scenario approach under the condition that the underlying distribution is known.

A Nonlinear Interval Portfolio Selection Model and Its Application in Banks

In classical Markowitz＇s Mean-Variance model, parameters such as the mean and covari- ance of the underlying assets＇ future return are assumed to be known exactly. However, this is not always the case. The parameters often correspond to quantities that fall within a range, or can be known ambiguously at the time when investment decision must be made. In such situations, investors determine returns on investment and risks etc. and make portfolio decisions based on experience and economic wisdom. This paper tries to use the concept of interval numbers in the fuzzy set theory to extend the classical mean-variance portfolio selection model to a mean-downside semi-variance model with consideration of liquidity requirements of a bank. The semi-variance constraint is employed to control the downside risk, filling in the existing interval portfolio optimization model based on the linear semi-absolute deviation to depict the downside risk. Simulation results show that the model behaves robustly for risky assets with highest or lowest mean historical rate of return and the optimal investment proportions have good stability. This suggests that for these kinds of assets the model can reduce the risk of high deviation caused by the deviation in the decision maker＇s experience and economic wisdom.
