斜拉索雨振是斜拉桥设计中最为设计者所关心的问题之一。如果没有广泛深入的研究 ,仅靠一般的试验研究 ,要在设计阶段准确地预测雨振效应是困难的。给出一个预测斜拉索可能发生的雨振估算模型 ,该模型是一个基于已有研究和实测成果及最... 斜拉索雨振是斜拉桥设计中最为设计者所关心的问题之一。如果没有广泛深入的研究 ,仅靠一般的试验研究 ,要在设计阶段准确地预测雨振效应是困难的。给出一个预测斜拉索可能发生的雨振估算模型 ,该模型是一个基于已有研究和实测成果及最不利状态下的设计用模型。斜拉索的风荷载由修正的驰振方程给出。由该模型可估算斜拉索雨振的临界风速及振幅。估算结果依赖于斜拉索的直径、阻尼、刚度、质量以及升力系数随风的攻角的变化等参数。计算时采用了由以往试验所得的升力系数。用该模型对某座实桥斜拉索雨振的估算结果与其现场实测结果的比较表明 :估算结果能很好地反映实测结果。在另一座斜拉桥的设计阶段也采用了该估算模型。 展开更多

大跨度斜拉桥中,由于下雨使斜拉索产生一种特殊的振动。近年来日本在雨振防止对策上进行了大量的研究工作,本文介绍了日本学者北条哲男等人从阻力小、气动性能稳定的思路出发,通过1:1的斜拉索模型实验来研究防止雨振的方法。实验研究结... 大跨度斜拉桥中,由于下雨使斜拉索产生一种特殊的振动。近年来日本在雨振防止对策上进行了大量的研究工作,本文介绍了日本学者北条哲男等人从阻力小、气动性能稳定的思路出发,通过1:1的斜拉索模型实验来研究防止雨振的方法。实验研究结果表明,把斜拉索表面加工成有一定形状的粗糙度后,可以较好地控制斜拉索的周边气流,起到减振作用。国内大跨度斜拉桥越建越多,且跨度越来越大,对于修建在大江大河上的大跨度斜拉桥,雨振现象一定存在,但如何防止雨振尚未引起有关技术人员的重视。本文的研究方法及成果若能对推动国内在这方面的研究起到一点促进作用也正是笔者的希望所在。 展开更多

The wind-induced vibration of stay cables of cable-stayed bridges, which includes rain-wind-induced vibration (RWIV) and dry galloping (DG), has been studied for a considerable amount of time. In general, mechanical dampers or surface modification are applied to suppress the vibration. In particular, several types of surface-modification cable, including indentation, longitudinally parallel protuberance, helical fillet, and U-shaped grooving, have been developed. Recently, a new type of aerodynamically stable cable with spiral protuberances was developed. It was confirmed that the cable has a low drag force coefficient, like an indented cable, and that it prevented the formation of water rivulets on the cable surface. In this study, the stability for RWIV of this cable was investigated with various flow angles and protuberance dimensions in a wind-tunnel test. It was found that the spiral protuberance cable is aerodynamically stable against both RWIV and DG for all test wind angles. The effects of the protuberance dimensions were also clarified. 展开更多

Rain-wind-induced vibration of cable was studied based on previous research achievements. According to the quasi-steady assumption, the governing equation of vertical motion of the cable was derived and the criterion for unstable motion and occurrence mechanism was studied. A comparison was performed between the oscillation responses of the stay cable obtained from calculated model and previous results. The results indicate that the analysis model can reflect the main characteristics of wind-rain-induced vibrationt of the cable which is amplitude- and velocity-restricted, and it is probably related with the periodic vortex shedding of wake flow. It is essential for the occurrence of rain-wind-induced or wind-induced vibration of cable that the derivative of lift coefficient with respect to transient angle of attack is less than zero. When rain-wind-induced vibration occurs, the aerodynamic force has a dual function for the vibration, and the maximum amplitude of stayed-cable is determined by the relative value of aerodynamic exciting force and aerodynamic damping force. 展开更多

The fatigue life of top tensioned risers under vortex-induced vibrations (VIVs) with consideration of the effect of internal flowing fluid on the riser is analyzed in the time domain.The long-term stress histories of the riser under VIVs are calculated and the mean stresses,the number of stress cycles and amplitudes are determined by the rainflow counting method.The Palmgren-Miner rule for cumulative damage theory with a specified S-N curve is used to estimate the fatigue life of the riser.The corresponding numerical programs numerical simulation of vortex-induced vibrations (NSVIV) which can be used to calculate the VIV response and fatigue life of the riser are compiled.Finally the influences of the riser's parameters such as flexural rigidity,top tension and internal flow velocity on the fatigue life of the riser are analyzed in detail and some conclusions are drawn. 展开更多

The results showed that theestablishment of SCSSM was little later than normal and the intensity was stronger than normal. Influenced bythe location of the northwest Pacific subtropical high, which was much northward and westward than normal,SCSSM was active mainly in the South China Sea areas. There existed obvious intraseasonal oscillation and twosignificant periods of SCSSM, one was about 20-30 days and the other about 40-50 days. The transportation ofmoisture was concentrated on the South China Sea and the northwest Pacific regions, reducing the northwardtransportation and resulting in drought in southern China. 展开更多

In this paper,the synoptic-climatology of Meiyn in East Asia is discussed.It is proposed that the location of the rain band of Meiyu is stable from the viewpoint of climatology,even though the active (wet) and break (dry) Meiyu are influenced by synoptic systems.The duration and the onset and retreat dates of Meiyu exhibit tremendous interannual variabilities,and thus,they are almost unpredictable in seasonal climate prediction.The Meiyu has been used as a synoptic concept and applied to the operational forecast for many decades by meteorological agencies in East Asian countries.As a result,the prediction of the onset and retreat dates of Meiyu has become an important operational work for meteorological services.This has also misled the public's and scientists' attention.The northward propagation of the East Asian summer monsoon (EASM) surge associated with the intraseasonal oscillation is closely related to the active and break Meiyu.The activities and propagation of the EASM surge modulate the active/break Meiyu that cause concentrative severe precipitation processes and floods or droughts; hence,the authors suggest changing the current forecasting methodology of Meiyu.It is more meaningful from the scientific as well as application viewpoints to establish the monitoring and forecasting of the EASM surge to replace the current operational forecast of Meiyu after the seasonal progress enters the climatological Meiyu period in a year. 展开更多

Based on the free vibration test method for extracting flutter derivatives,an experiment on flutter stability of a long-span bridge under simultaneous actions of wind and rain was carried out in a wind tunnel.A separated twin-box girder section model was employed as the specimen.The flutter derivatives and critical flutter wind speed of this girder subject to both wind and rain(with various rainfall intensities,wind speeds and attack angles)were obtained,then the flutter stability of the bridge influenced by rainfall was analyzed.Experimental results showed that the flutter derivatives of this bridge depend on the angles of attack of wind flow in the wind and rain fields.Also,rainfall has great effect on three flutter derivatives(H2*,H4* and A4*)and has less effect on other three flutter derivatives(H1*,H3* and A3*).With the increasing rainfall density,the critical flutter velocity first increases and then decreases.Low density of rainfall has the effect of increasing mass,stiffness and damping on bridge decks,and higher density of rainfall has the effect of random inhomogeneous impact on bridge decks. 展开更多
