Though it is in a large, commercial building near 3inwuxing, the busiest downtown wholesale market in China＇s busy capital Beijing, Wanma Gyantso named his art studio Shambhala. The name means ＂paradise.＂ Amid the chaotic streets clotted with car traffic, scooters, pedal bikes and pedestrians, is, he says with a wink, ＂a snippet of pure land in this mortal world.＂ What an imagination!
