The results are obtained in a very simple and quick way. Although the force values are approximated but they are relatively very close to those, which are determined by the exact methods. The point of the two-stage calculation process of the statically indeterminate trusses is to determine schemes of two independent and simple statically determined trusses, which after superposition of their patterns will give in the result a pattern of the initial, more complex form of the statically indeterminate truss. Each of the simple truss has to be of the same clear span and the load forces have to be of the half values and they have to be applied to the same nodes like in truss of the initial structural configuration.展开更多

The measured power depends on both load...The validity of electric power system simulation or prediction models depends on static load model. Measurement- based approach is the unique method to identify them adequately. The measured power depends on both load reaction to supply voltage alteration and random process of load alteration Basically, there is no any universal method that can single out the inherent static load model from experimental data. The paper offers a proprietary technique which is the particular solution of the task. The technique considers the selection of neighboring measurement pairs with the supply voltage altering significantly be-tween them, the exclusion of selected pairs by load power factor and subsequent selection of the inherent static load model presented as the polynomial load model. The usage of the technique to identify static load model at “Fenster” industrial enterprise (in Borisov city) is presented. The ideas considered in the paper can be used for future development of static load model identification methods with the data obtained during both active experiment and in other operating models of electric power systems.展开更多
The present study focuses on the design and choice of materials (steels S355 and 45SCD6) of a chassis of stirred tank (with a variable filling rate) for use in the manufacturing of cosmetic products. This tank or ...The present study focuses on the design and choice of materials (steels S355 and 45SCD6) of a chassis of stirred tank (with a variable filling rate) for use in the manufacturing of cosmetic products. This tank or trough will be submitted to important mechanical and thermal loads and pressure according to the various manufacturing processes. The authors propose a model of thermal and mechanical loads which takes into account the operating conditions of the tank. The analysis of the first 10 modes of vibration of the frame shows that the frequencies are much higher when the filling rate is high. They are higher for steel 45SCD6 than for the $355. The simulation results show that for a selected type of steel, the equivalent Von Mises stress increases along with increase in fill rates and thermal gradient. It appears that the influence of the thermal gradient is predominant. For both steels, the Von Mises equivalent stress is maximum in the beam 32 when the thermal gradient is at its lowest stage, and in the beam 40 for the greatest thermal gradient.展开更多
