It provides for African knowledge dissemination, integration and synthesis defining the hypothetical nature of the African mankind's reality. The African reality is explained herein, in terms of the realism subject matter of idealism from the circumstantial perspectives. The ideal that formed part of the authority of eternal yesterday carried throughout from one generation to the other. The article parallels its abstraction from the search of who am "I" when "me" comes into scrutiny in the body form. It disintegrates these intangible values and measures of equal importance. The body form of normative pluralism contains the coexistent of 'T' and "me" and sustains them cooperatively. The insanity of the sober mind is often debated meaninglessly. The supposed meanings often end up meaningless sometimes and all the times; times and half a time worthless while micro scoped through non-African philosophical and intellectual minds.展开更多

Through the methodology of theological reflections, the paper finds out that the theology of wealth, though difficult to describe, is sustained on the African continent by economic hardship, the influence of some preachers of the theology of wealth, and the availability of improved facilities for disseminating the content of the theology of wealth. It also finds out that the entire philosophy of the theology of wealth is biblically, theologically, and ethically deficient. Biblically, it adapts parts of scripture to suit its teachings. Theologically, it puts forth viewpoints that are foreign to theological thought. Ethically, it is a means of exploiting congregants. The paper concludes with a recommendation that the content and nature of the theology of wealth must be highlighted and thoroughly explained to both clergy and membership of different denominations so that all will be safeguarded against the impact of this false gospel on their lives.展开更多

South Africa is the leading emerging power in Africa. As the core political philosophy that South Africa has been constructing in recent years, Ubuntu attempts to transcend the Western liberal democratic discourse, the Western African discourse and the nation-state discourse, in an attempt to build cultural confidence with African characteristics and to increase the power of discourse in the international arena. The content within the political philosophy of Ubuntu and the concept of a community of a shared future for mankind have a lot in common, which indicates a trend of emerging powers trying to build local political philosophies to surpass the Western political discourse system and to enhance their soft power in global nolitics.展开更多

The various ideologies or worldviews that humanity has experienced such as dualism, capitalism, holism, animism, ubuntu, ukama, vital force, colonialism, and so forth are all different ways of thinking and relating to the earth. The paper argues that dualistic ways of thinking or viewpoints that radically separate the human as distinct from the earth are hostile to both human and earth flourishing. It further argues that the ecological crisis which has witnessed the destruction and pollution of the ecosystems and other devastations cannot be solved when humans continue to see the earth as an object for conquest and exploitation. Using a critical hermeneutics method, the paper affirms that the African principle of relationality can help in mitigating the environmental crisis. It finds and concludes that if this principle is radically practiced, a better environment will be created.展开更多
