The swirl component in the tip trace plane (TTP) can be predicted, nonlinear items are added into the linear theory, and the old small angle assumption use d in matrix prediction is removed. All of these enha ncements are aimed at the low speed flight phase and formulations for the induce d velocity field just in the TTP frame are derived. The results indicate that oil-in-water type bubble flow will turn to deterministic motion with the increase of oil phase fraction f o and superficial gas velocity U sg under fixed flowrate of oil-water mixture Q mix . The dynamics of oil-in-water type slug flow becomes more complex with the increase of U sg under fixed flowrate of oil-water mixture. The change of f o leads to irregular influence on the dynamics of slug flow. These interesting findings suggest that the surrogate data method can be a faithful tool for characterizing dynamic characteristics of oil-in-water type bubble and slug flows.展开更多

The open-loop and closed-loop approaches described here add the capability for net sidewise displacements of the microrobotic platform. A displacement is achieved by the execution of a number of repeating steps that depend on the desired displacement, the speed of the micromotors, and the elapsed time. Simulation and experimental results verified the performance of the proposed methodologies.展开更多

The nonlinear DC gain and nonlinear settling process are introduced into the op-amp module. The signaldependent charge injection and nonlinear resistance are introduced into the switch module. In addition, the noise source including flicker and thermal noise is introduced into system as an independent module. The novel model is verified by SIMULINK behavioral simulations. The results are compared with results from circuit level simulation in Cadence SPICE using TSMC 0.35μm mixed signal technology. It shows that the novel model succeeds in introducing the influences of the nonidealities into behavior simulation to more realistically describe the circuit performances and increase the accuracy of SIMULINK simulation.展开更多

The accuracy of the present solution is found to be in excellent agreement with the previously published solution. The authors use an averaged residual error to find the optimal convergence-control parameters. Comparisons are made between SHAM generated results, results from literature and Matlab ode45 generated results, and good agreement is observed.展开更多

A variant of pigeon-inspired optimization named multi-objective pigeon-inspired optimization(MPIO) is proposed in this paper. It is also adopted to solve the multi-objective optimization problems in designing the parameters of brushless direct current motors, which has two objective variables, five design variables, and five constraint variables. Furthermore, comparative experimental results with the modified non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm are given to show the feasibility, validity and superiority of our proposed MIPO algorithm.展开更多
