In order to overcome the shortcomings that the reconstructed spectral reflectance may be negative when using the classic principal component analysis (PCA)to reduce the dimensions of the multi-spectral data, a nonne...In order to overcome the shortcomings that the reconstructed spectral reflectance may be negative when using the classic principal component analysis (PCA)to reduce the dimensions of the multi-spectral data, a nonnegative constrained principal component analysis method is proposed to construct a low-dimensional multi-spectral space and accomplish the conversion between the new constructed space and the multispectral space. First, the reason behind the negative data is analyzed and a nonnegative constraint is imposed on the classic PCA. Then a set of nonnegative linear independence weight vectors of principal components is obtained, by which a lowdimensional space is constructed. Finally, a nonlinear optimization technique is used to determine the projection vectors of the high-dimensional multi-spectral data in the constructed space. Experimental results show that the proposed method can keep the reconstructed spectral data in [ 0, 1 ]. The precision of the space created by the proposed method is equivalent to or even higher than that by the PCA.展开更多

In the method, there is no need to determine the structure of the class of normal forms in advance. Because the subspace is not related to the dimensions of the system and the order of the normal forms directly, it is determined only by a given vector field. So the normal forms with high orders and dimensions can be calculated by the method without difficulties. In this paper, is used the method for selecting the minimal subspace and solving homological equations in the subspace, the examples show that the method is very effective.展开更多

Over 20 samples are measured at room temperature with various electrodes, and the resulting curves are all similar in shape. When a voltage of about 560V is applied to the cBN crystal, the emitted light is visible to the naked eye in a dark room. We explain these phenomena by the space charge limited current and the electronic transition between the X and Г valleys of the conduction band.展开更多

In this work, the aerodynamic stability of the Yichang Suspension Bridge over Yangtze River during erection was determined by three dimensional nonlinear flutter analysis, in which the nonlinearities of structural dy...In this work, the aerodynamic stability of the Yichang Suspension Bridge over Yangtze River during erection was determined by three dimensional nonlinear flutter analysis, in which the nonlinearities of structural dynamic characteristics and aeroelastic forces caused by large deformation are fully considered. An interesting result obtained was that the bridge was more stable when the stiffening girders were erected in a non symmetrical manner as opposed to the traditional symmetrical erection schedule. It was also found that the severe decrease in the aerodynamic stability was due to the nonlinear effects. Therefore, the nonlinear factors should be considered accurately in aerodynamic stability analysis of long span suspension bridges during erection.展开更多

In order to study the integrability property of such an equation, the Painlevé analysis is performed on it. And then, based on the truncated Painlevé expansion, the bilinear form of the (3+1)-dimensionaJ vcKP equation is obtained under certain coefficients constraint, and its solution in the Wronskian determinant form is constructed and verified by virtue of the Wronskian technique. Besides the Wronskian determinant solution, it is shown that the (3+1)-dimensional vcKP equation also possesses a solution in the form of the Grammian determinant.展开更多

While, many relative studies were based on Markov chain, not MRF, and using Markov chain model for 3D reservoir stochastic simulation has always been the difficulty in reservoir stochastic simulation. MRF was proposed to simulate type variables(for example lithofacies) in this work. Firstly, a Gibbs distribution was proposed to characterize reservoir heterogeneity for building 3-D(three-dimensional) MRF. Secondly, maximum likelihood approaches of model parameters on well data and training image were considered. The traditiona...Aiming for the coordinated motion and cooperative control of multi-agents in a non-rectangular bounded space, a velocity consensus algorithm for the agents with double- integrator dynamics is presented. The traditional consensus algorithm for bounded space is only applicable to rectangular bouncing boundaries, not suitable for non-rectangular space. In order to extend the previous consensus algorithm to the non- rectangular space, the concept of mirrored velocity is introduced, which can convert the discontinuous real velocity to continuous mirrored velocity, and expand a bounded space into an infinite space. Using the consensus algorithm, it is found that the mirrored velocities of multi-agents asymptotically converge to the same values. Because each mirrored velocity points to a unique velocity in real space, it can be concluded that the real velocities of multi-agents also asymptotically converge. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed consensus algorithm is examined by theoretical proof and numerical simulations. Moreover, an experiment is performed with the algorithm in a real multi-robot system successfully.展开更多

Based on the three-dimensional numerical simulation of heat transfer of the coupled body, a coupled three-dimensional calculation model for the in-cylinder working process and the combustion chamber components was built with domain decomposition and boundary coupling method, in which the coupled three-dimensional simulation of in-cylindcr working process and the combustion chamber components was adopted. The simulation was applied in the influence investigation of the space non-uniformity in heat transfer among combustion chamber components on the generation of in-cylinder emissions. The results show that the space non-uniformity in heat transfer among the combustion chamber components has great influence on the generation of in-cylinder NOx emissions. The heat transfer space non-uniformity of combustion chamber components has little effect on soot formation, and far less effect on soot formation than on NOx. Under two situations of different wall temperature distributions, the soot in cylinder is different by 1.3% when exhaust valves are open.展开更多

By employing the phase space reconstruction technique in nonlinear dynamical systems theory, the proposed strategy transforms the nonlinear system into canonical form, and employs a nonlinear observer to estimate the uncertainties and disturbances of the nonlinear system, and then establishes a state-error-like feedback law. The developed control scheme allows chaos control in spite of modeling errors and parametric variations. The effectiveness of the proposed approach has been demonstrated through its applications to two well-known chaotic systems : Duffing oscillator and Rǒssler chaos.展开更多
