Based on continuum mechanics and rock dynamics,analyzed the micro-struc- ture damage of rock and the impulsive effect under high pressure water jet and developed the dynamic model.Further,on the assumption of that roc...Based on continuum mechanics and rock dynamics,analyzed the micro-struc- ture damage of rock and the impulsive effect under high pressure water jet and developed the dynamic model.Further,on the assumption of that rock was homogeneous and iso- tropic,a computational model was established based on nonlinear finite element and Arbi- trary Lagrangian-Eulerian(ALE) method.The dynamic effect impacted on rock under high pressure water jet was simulated by the dynamic contact method.The propagation of stress wave in rock was numerically simulated at different impacting velocity.The results show that the propagation velocity of stress wave is proportional to the impacting velocity of high pressure water jet.The faster the impacting velocity is,the quicker the comedown of stress wave.展开更多

Meanwhile we find that the system which has attractive atomic interaction will only possess a shape changing (inelastic) collision property due to intensity redistribution in the absence of the spin-exchange interaction. As a discussed example, we investigate the one-soliton, two-soliton solutions and collisional effects between bright two-soliotn solution, which lead to the intensity redistribu tion.展开更多
This paper focuses on the 1/2 sub-harmonic resonance of an aircraft’s rotor system under hovering flight that can be modeled as a maneuver load G in the equations of motion.The effect on the rotor system is analyzed ...This paper focuses on the 1/2 sub-harmonic resonance of an aircraft’s rotor system under hovering flight that can be modeled as a maneuver load G in the equations of motion.The effect on the rotor system is analyzed by using theoretical methods.It is shown that the sub-harmonic resonance may occur due to maneuvering flight conditions.The larger the eccentricity E and the maneuver load G,the greater the sub-harmonic resonance.The effects of nonlinear stiffness,damping of the system,maneuver load,and eccentricity on the sub-harmonic resonance region in parameter planes are also investigated.Bifurcation diagrams of the analytical solutions are in good agreement with that of the numerical simulation solutions.These results will contribute to the understanding of the nonlinear dynamic behaviors of maneuvering rotor systems.展开更多

We study three-dimensional localization and dispersive shocks in a bent cigar shaped potential by the nonlinear Schro¨ dinger equation. At high bending and high nonlinearity, topological trapping is frustrated by the generation of curved wave-breaking. Four-dimensional parallel simulations confirm the theoretical model. This work may contribute to novel devices based on geometrically constrained highly nonlinear dynamics and tests and analogs of fundamental physical theories in curved space.展开更多
