Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) conjugated concanavalin agglutinin (Con A), wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) and soybean agglutinin (SBA) were used as probes to localize their specific receptors on the plasma membrane of generative cells (GCs) isolated from Vicia faba L., Iris tectorium Maxim. and Hippeastrum vittatum Herb. It is a further investigation on possible distributive dynamic of lectin receptors during the developmental process from generative cells to sperm cells. In the present study, all the three lectin receptors were found on the surface of generative cells of V faba and I. tectorium. However, on generative cells of H vittatum only Con A and WGA, but not SBA receptors were observed. The same lectin receptors on the generative cells from different species showed various distribution patterns. The distribution of various lectin receptors on the same generative cells also showed different characteristics. Lectin receptors were totally absent on some generative cells of all three investigated species. Polar distribution of lectin receptors was observed on tailed generative cells. The findings offer important clues to investigate sperm cell function and possible sperm dimorphism of surface glycoprotein. 展开更多

The fiver terraces are most typical in the Jingxian Basin, Anhui Province, where the Qingyijiang... On the northern fringe of Mt. Huangshan, many fiver terraces are developed at the junction between mountains and plains. The fiver terraces are most typical in the Jingxian Basin, Anhui Province, where the Qingyijiang River, one of the longest tributaries of the lower Yangtze River, developed three staircase terraces. The topmost terrace (i.e., the T3 terrace) tread is 38 - 39 m above fiver level, and the top of the gravels is generally covered by 3 - 10.9 m of red clay deposits. Systematic magnetostratigraphy and electron spin resonance dating are used to research the timing of the establishment of the Qingyijiang River. The main results show that the topmost terrace developed no later than 900 kyr ago and that the appearance of the Qingyijiang River occurred correspondingly at least before 900 kyr ago on the northern fringe of Mt. Huangshan. In view of the almost synchronous age,the establishment of the Qingyijiang River was seemingly a response to the Mid-Pleistocene Revolution when the 100 kyr cycle commenced, and the Kunlun-Huanghe movement during the early- middle Pleistocene transition. In addition, the establishment of the Qingyijiang River possibly reflected the birth of the modem Yangtze River to some degree. Therefore the timing of the formation of the Yangtze River is restricted to no later than 900 kyr ago based on the appearance of the Qingyijiang River . 展开更多

The past twenty years have seen the increasingly important role of ontology in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).However,the development of TCM ontology faces many challenges.Since the epistemologies dramatically differ between TCM and contemporary biomedicine,it is hard to apply the existing top-level ontology mechanically.“Data silos”are widely present in the currently available terminology standards,term sets,and ontologies.The formal representation of ontology needs to be further improved in TCM.Therefore,we propose a unified basic semantic framework of TCM based on in-depth theoretical research on the existing top・level ontology and a re-study of important concepts in TCM.Under such a framework,ontologies in TCM subdomains should be built collaboratively and be represented formally in a common format.Besides,extensive cooperation should be encouraged by establishing ontology research communities to promote ontology peer review and reuse. 展开更多

In order to prevent and control the water inflow of mines, this paper built a new initial GM(1, 1) model to torecast the maximum water inflow according to the principle of new information. The effect of the new initial GM(1, 1) model is not ideal by the concrete example. Then according to the principle of making the sum of the squares of the difference between the calculated sequences and the original sequences, an optimized GM(1, I) model was established. The result shows that this method is a new prediction method which can predict the maximum water inflow accurately. It not only conforms to the guide- line of prevention primarily, but also provides reference standards to managers on making prevention measures. 展开更多

Inverted domes are popular as foundations. Structures are built with an intended end use for a specified utility period. The functional requirement is to serve the purpose and the structural requirement constitutes stability, strength, safety, serviceability and durability. Satisfaction of these requirements at affordable costs is the goal of structural optimization. This paper demonstrates the need and scope for optimization of domes by formulating and solving the problem by use of calculus (volume of material is the objective function being minimized using first principles of calculus). A simple but elegant method is suggested for determination of wind stresses by statics which compares very well with that obtained by rigorous method. 展开更多

一、一年以来,为了适应全国大办工业的需要,在工矿企业设计中选用建筑结构(包括厂房的屋架、梁柱、基础、吊车梁和烟囱、井架、栈桥等)的时候,大量地减少了钢结构,推广了予加应力的钢筋混凝土结构,并有不少地区采用了砖拱结构、砖木结... 一、一年以来,为了适应全国大办工业的需要,在工矿企业设计中选用建筑结构(包括厂房的屋架、梁柱、基础、吊车梁和烟囱、井架、栈桥等)的时候,大量地减少了钢结构,推广了予加应力的钢筋混凝土结构,并有不少地区采用了砖拱结构、砖木结构和各种混合结构,打破了过去高标准的框子,进一步实行了因地制宜、就材设计的方针.在材料十分紧张的情况下,保证了工业建设的需要,特别是满足了地方中、小型企业建设的需要.但也有部分的工矿设计在建筑结构标准的选用上有偏高偏低的情况.尤其是在去年三、四季度施工的厂房中,有些设计由于时时紧迫,片面地求快求省,不适当地降低了结构标准,忽视了生产方面对结构的要求,结构本身不够坚固稳定.应该采用纲结构的,不适当地改成了钢筋混凝土结构,甚至有的改成了砖木结构; 展开更多
