孔雀石(Malachife/Green carbon-ate of coppor/Mountain green)是自然界重要的铜矿之一.因其丽质、储量稀少,与皮映接触对人体有益,故自古以来,人们就把它视为一种宝石,用它加工成各种装饰品,如项珠、工艺图章等等.据了解,仅黄冈地...孔雀石(Malachife/Green carbon-ate of coppor/Mountain green)是自然界重要的铜矿之一.因其丽质、储量稀少,与皮映接触对人体有益,故自古以来,人们就把它视为一种宝石,用它加工成各种装饰品,如项珠、工艺图章等等.据了解,仅黄冈地区从事孔雀石项珠加工的单位就有10个左右.但是,这些单位不但对原料的利用欠充分,而且对加工所余“废料”大多未予利用,而被江、浙、陕等地收去.他们将“废料”加工成产品投放市场.不言而喻,这对本地区的经济是一种损失.本文主要就孔雀石加工所余“废料”的利用方面,谈点个人的看法.1 孔雀石的性质孔雀石呈翠绿或草绿色,有的近于黑色,其条痕为淡绿色或作绿光.该石的比重在3.7~4.1之间;硬度在莫氏硬度3.5~4.0之间,性脆;形态呈至密的钟乳状或肾状,有的呈薄膜和附生物状;具丝绢光泽,属单斜晶系;呈土状的叫铜绿.孔雀石的主成份为碱式碳酸铜[Cu<sub>2</sub>(OH)<sub>2</sub>·CO<sub>3</sub>],遇酸即分解,发生气泡并生成相应酸的盐类.2展开更多

Under such a very specific circumstance,a high incidence of acute altitude illness was observed in rescuers who rapidly traveled from near sea level to an altitude of 4 000 m. It is evident that acute altitude illness leads to a significant human and economic toll,and also seriously influences the mountain rescue operation. So what does this teach us about mountain rescue in Yushu? Professor Wu Tianyi and many other authors collected shining points of the experiences and drew the lessons from the Yushu Earthquake into this special issue in Engineering Sciences which is like to thread pearl beads for a necklace. What readers learn from this special issue will have implications for the health and well-being of all high altitude populations all over the world.展开更多

In addition, the se...In the Pearl River Delta (PRD), there is severe competition between container ports, particularly those in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou, for collecting international maritime container cargo. In addition, the second phase of the Nansha terminal in Guangzhou’s port and the first phase of the Da Chang Bay container terminal in Shenzhen opened last year. Under these circumstances, there is an increasing need to quantitatively measure the impact these infrastructure investments have on regional cargo flows. The analysis should include the effects of container terminal construction, berth deepening, and access road construction. The authors have been developing a model for international cargo simulation (MICS) which can simulate the movement of cargo. The volume of origin-destination (OD) container cargo in the East Asian region was used as an input, in order to evaluate the effects of international freight transportation policies. This paper focuses on the PRD area and, by incorporating a more detailed network, evaluates the impact of several infrastructure investment projects on freight movement.展开更多
