The role of trust in supervisor in participative budgeting systems

This study examined the relationship between budget participation and managerial performance as mediated by trust in supervisor and explored the moderating role of budget-goal difficulty on budget participation, trust in supervisor, and managerial performance. One-hundred-fifty-eight useful responses were drawn at random from subordinate managers of manufacturing companies listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. The mediating effect of trust in supervisor was examined by path analysis. Subgroup analysis was used to examine the contingency effect of budget-goal difficulty on the mediating role of trust in supervisor between budget participation and performance. The findings support our hypotheses and demonstrate the mediating effect of trust in supervisor and the moderating effect of budget-goal difficulty.

试论军队预算制度研究视角的创新

军队预算制度研究的传统视角主要是财务学、管理学以及资源配置经济学等,侧重于方法和技术层面,而不是基于预算行为主体的利益冲突与博弈性质,重点关注的是"人与物"而非"人与人"的关系。交易视角的军队预算制度研究,将军队预算视为预算行为主体之间的交易,将军队预算制度视为规范交易的规则,较好地弥补了传统研究视角的不足。从交易视角研究军队预算制度,必须在对研究的基本假设、制度功能及研究的出发点与目的三者的逻辑关联所体现的理论逻辑形成基本认知的基础上展开,通过反复碰撞、不断积累的研究过程,形成稳定的概念、明确的研究主题与科学的研究方法,促进研究的深入发展。
