针对目前光纤法珀传感器腔长解调系统复杂的问题,提出了一种以MG-Y可调谐激光器为扫描光源的光纤法珀传感器信号处理系统。该系统利用FPGA主控芯片驱动MG-Y激光器实现C波段的线性扫描,同时将光谱信号以触发采样的方式转化为电学信号传... 针对目前光纤法珀传感器腔长解调系统复杂的问题,提出了一种以MG-Y可调谐激光器为扫描光源的光纤法珀传感器信号处理系统。该系统利用FPGA主控芯片驱动MG-Y激光器实现C波段的线性扫描,同时将光谱信号以触发采样的方式转化为电学信号传送到上位机,设计LabVIEW上位机实现傅里叶频率测量法与最小二乘拟合法运算,最终完成传感器腔长的解调。在实验中使用该系统对不同腔长的光纤法珀传感器进行解调运算,并将解调结果与光谱分析仪解调结果进行对比,实验表明二者具有较好的一致性,在不损失精度的情况下实现了解调系统的小型化。 展开更多

The phase difference method (PDM) is presented for the direction of arrival (DOA) estimation of the narrowband source. It estimates the DOA by measuring the reciprocal of the phase range of the sensor output spectra at the interest frequency bin. The peak width and variance of the PDM are presented. The PDM can distinguish closely spaced sources with different and unknown center frequencies as long as they are separated with at least one frequency bin. The simulation results show that the PDM has a better resolution than that of the conventional beamforming. 展开更多

Passive surface-wave utilization has been intensively studied as a means of compensating for the short-age of low-frequency information in active surface-wave measurement, In general, passive surface-wave methods cannot provide phase velocities up to several tens of hertz; thus, active surface-wave methods are often required in order to increase the frequency range, To reduce the amount of field work, we pro-pose a strategy for a high-frequency passive surface-wave survey that imposes active sources during con-tinuous passive surface-wave observation; we call our strategy "mixed-source surface-wave (MSW) measurement," Short-duration (within 10 min) passive surface waves and mixed-source surface waves were recorded at three sites with different noise levels: namely, inside a school, along a road, and along a railway, Spectral analysis indicates that the high-frequency energy is improved by imposing active sources during continuous passive surface-wave observation, The spatial autocorrelation (SPAC) method and the multichannel analysis of passive surface waves (MAPS) method based on cross-correlations were performed on the recorded time sequences, The results demonstrate the flexibility and applicability of the proposed method for high-frequency phase velocity analysis, We suggest that it will be constructive to perform MSW measurement in a seismic investigation, rather than exclusively performing either active surface-wave measurement or passive surface-wave measurement, 展开更多

In recent years, the complaints against the vibration as environmental pollution tends to increase gradually in Japan. The measurement investigation to demonstrate the actual situation of the environmental vibration was carried out for several years. The measurement manual for each vibration source such as operations of factory machine, construction works, road traffics and railways to unify measurement methods was made at the start. From the measurement investigation, the vibration amplification characteristics of the detached house by one-third octave frequency in Japan was analyzed as a purpose to improve estimated precision of the vibration in a detached house. In this paper, the vibration amplification characteristic expressed at onethird octave band frequency was shown, and the characteristics was arranged about a result measured with 27 detached houses in Japan. 展开更多

Optical-phase-retardation elements are widely used in many fields.Accurate measurement of their phase retardation is crucial to the practical effect of the element's processing and application.The development and present situation of the methods for optical phase retardation measurement are reviewed,with the wave plate,the most typical phase-retardation element,as an example.The latest research progress in this field is introduced;the principles and characteristics of individual measurement method are summarized and discussed.Three new methods based on laser frequency splitting or laser feedback are presented in detail,in which the laser is not only regarded as a light source but also plays a role of sensor.Moreover,no standard wave plates are needed and arbitrary phase retardation can be measured.Traceability,high precision and high repeatability are achieved as well. 展开更多

This paper presents a method for measuring the periodicity of quasi-periodic trajectories by applying discrete Fourier transform (DFT) to the trajectories and analyzing the frequency domain within the concept of entropy. Having introduced the concept of entropy, analytical derivation and numerical results indicate that entropies increase as a logarithmic function of time. Periodic trajectories typically have higher entropies, and trajectories with higher entropies mean the periodicities of the motions are stronger. Theoretical differences between two trajectories expressed as summations of trigonometric functions are also derived analytically. Trajectories in the Henon-Heiles system and the circular restricted three-body problem (CRTBP) are analyzed with the indicator entropy and compared with orthogonal fast Lyapunov indicator (OFLI). The results show that entropy is a better tool for discriminating periodicity in quasiperiodie trajectories than OFLI and can detect periodicity while excluding the spirals that are judged as periodic cases by OFLI. Finally, trajectories in the vicinity of 243 Ida and 6489 Golevka are considered as examples, and the numerical results verify these conclusions. Some trajectories near asteroids look irregular, but their higher entropy values as analyzed by this method serve as evidence of frequency regularity in three directions. Moreover, these results indicate that applying DFT to the trajectories in the vicinity of irregular small bodies and calculating their entropy in the frequency domain provides a useful quantitative analysis method for evaluating orderliness in the periodicity of quasi-periodic trajectories within a given time interval. 展开更多

According to the time&space conversion relations and different frequency phase detection principle,an ultra-high precision time&frequency measurement method is proposed in this paper.The higher accuracy and stability of the speed of light and electromagnetic signals during the transmission in space or a specific medium enable the measurement of short time interval which uses the coincidence detection of signal’s transmission delay in length.The measurement precision better than 10 picoseconds can be easily obtained.The method develops the length vernier utilizing the stability of signal’s transmission delay,minimizes the fuzzy region of phase coincidence between the standard frequency signal and the measured signal,approaches the best phase coincidences and therefore improves the measurement precision which is higher than the precision provided by the traditional methods based on frequency processing.Besides,the method costs less than the traditional methods and can also solve the problem of the measurement of super-high frequency.Experimental results show the method can improve the measurement precision to 10 12/s in the time&frequency domain. 展开更多
