Accurately solving transient nonlinear inverse heat conduction problems in complex structures is of great importance to provide key parameters for modeling coupled heat transfer process and the structure’s optimizati...Accurately solving transient nonlinear inverse heat conduction problems in complex structures is of great importance to provide key parameters for modeling coupled heat transfer process and the structure’s optimization design.The finite element method in ABAQUS is employed to solve the direct transient nonlinear heat conduction problem.Improved particle swarm optimization(PSO)method is developed and used to solve the transient nonlinear inverse problem.To investigate the inverse performances,some numerical tests are provided.Boundary conditions at inaccessible surfaces of a scramjet combustor with the regenerative cooling system are inversely identified.The results show that the new methodology can accurately and efficiently determine the boundary conditions in the scramjet combustor with the regenerative cooling system.By solving the transient nonlinear inverse problem,the improved particle swarm optimization for solving the transient nonlinear inverse heat conduction problem in a complex structure is verified.展开更多

Therefore, the design method of the hydraulic turbi...Low-head hydraulic turbines are the subjects to individual approach of design. This comes from the fact that hydrological conditions are not of a standard character. Therefore, the design method of the hydraulic turbine stage has a great importance for those who may be interested in such an investment. As a first task in a design procedure the guide vane is considered. The proposed method is based on the solution of the inverse problem within the flame of 2D model. By the inverse problem authors mean a design of the blade shapes for given flow conditions. In the paper analytical solution for the simple cylindrical shape of a guide vane is presented. For the more realistic cases numerical solutions according to the axis-symmetrical model of the flow are also presented. The influence of such parameters as the inclination of trailing edge, the blockage factor due to blade thickness, the influence of loss due to dissipation are shown for the chosen simple geometrical example.展开更多

It is found that the...In the context of Chinese learning English writing to learn and length approach is one of the highlighted concepts and practices. It entails sufficient comprehensible input and active interaction. It is found that the theme-based modules/units, if organized and performed meaningfully and closely related to the learners' life and experiences, will best integrate these three elements in the process of the second language learning, which is geared in some major aspects to the whole language philosophy. 'Writing to learn' is a product of reverse thinking. In a theme-based module/unit, a writing task of the same theme is put at its end with some requirements for language enhancement. It serves as an engine to learn other skills. In reality, it is not writing alone that functions in the SLA, but writing at the final stage that requires comprehended input and good qualitative interaction together to fuel SLA. An experiment of 20 weeks shows the positive results for the model.展开更多
