Ferrocene is used as a mediator of electron transfer between tyrosinase in mushroom tissue and a graphite electrode. The optimal operation conditions are studied. The linear response range of the biosensor is 2 0×10 -4 to 4 5×10 -3 mol·L -1 with response time of less than 5 min and lifetime of at least 30 d. A polypyrrole-modified glassy carbon electrode (PPy/GC electrode) was prepared and its electrocatalytic behavior towards naphthoquinone in the presence of acid was characterized by linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). ... A polypyrrole-modified glassy carbon electrode (PPy/GC electrode) was prepared and its electrocatalytic behavior towards naphthoquinone in the presence of acid was characterized by linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). A well-defined new reduction peak appeared at a more positive potential than the original reduction peak. The new reduction peak current was linearly related to the acid value (AV) of oil. Based on it, a rapid electrochemical method for determining AV of transformer oil was developed using PPy/GC electrode. A working curve was obtained in the AV range of 0.01 to 0.40 mg(KOH).g^-1, with a sensitivity of 39.42 μA0.5/(mg(KOH).g-l) and the detection limit of 0.0014 mg(KOH).g^-1 (signal-to-noise ratio is 3, standard deviation is 2.247%). Moreover, the proposed method has been successfully applied to AV determination of several transformer oil samples with advantages of rapidness, high sensitivity and accuracy compared to the conventional method. 展开更多

This study examines the humanistic influence of ancient and Renaissance art in Camillo Camilli's Imprese of 1586. Camillo Camilli (ca. 1560-1615--his exact birth date is unknown) was an Italian poet of the sixteenth-century. His family came from Monte San Savino, Siena, and records mention that he died on July 13, 1615, in Ragusa. While personal documentation on Camilli's life is scarce there are substantial sources about his literary career as a translator, compiler and poet. Camilli wrote extensively. There are the five canti on Erminia e Tancredi which were collated with Tarquo Tasso's (1544-1595) unfinished poems, and his commentaries for Ludovico Ariosto's Orlando Furioso in 1584 and for Tasso's Gerusalemme Liberata in 1585. Under the influence of Tasso's writings and his involvement in the commentary of Gerusalemme Liberata (1585), Camilli started formulating his concetto (conceit) of what an impresa is (badge, device or insignia). The focus of this essay is on Camilli's Imprese for the Academies. The whole collection of the lmprese consists of three volumes. The frontispiece to each volume depicts three different stage settings filled with classical ornamentation and bearing in the center of the lintel the impresa or insignia of Francesco Ziletti's printing company--a starfish surrounded by stars and bound by a ribbon. Camilli selected this image to announce through the imprese the significance of these famous men (uominifamosi) of the academy, granting them immortality and honor for their cultural and intellectual accomplishments. 展开更多

The bare copper electrode was firstly anodic polarized in 1.0 mol/L NaOH solution in order to get CuxO nanoparticles, then the carboxyl graphene (CG) was electrodeposited on the CuxO/Cu electrode by cyclic potential sweeping. The electrocatalytic oxidation behaviors of calcium folinate (CF) at the graphene modified CuxO/Cu electrode were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. A positive scan polarization reverse catalytic voltammetry was used to obtain the pure catalytic oxidation current. The graphene modified CuxO/Cu electrode was served as the electrochemical sensor of CF, a highly sensitivity of 22.0μA.(μmol/μL)^-1cm^-2 was achieved, and the current response was linear with increasing CF concentration in the range of 2.0×10^-7 mol/L to 2.0×10^-5 mol/L, which crossed three orders of magnitude, and the detection limit was found 7.6×10^-5 mol/L (S/N=3). In addition, the proposed sensor was successfully applied in determination of CF in drug sample. 展开更多

Development of uric acid sensor based on molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was studi ed. The sensor was developed by coating the imprinted polymethacrylic acid on the surface of a hanging mercury drop ele, ctrode (HMDE) at -1 V (vs. Ag/AgCI) during 60 s. Uric acid was accumulated on the modified electrode at -1 V (vs. Ag/AgC1) during 60 s in acetate buffer pH = 5 and stripped at scan rate of 59 mV/s. Oxidation of uric acid on the surface of modified electrode is irreversible through the diffusion controlled process and polymethacrylic acid is a non-electrical conducting polymer. The current signal obtained from Ehe analysis of uric acid by using HMDE is higher than that of the HMD-palymethacrylic acid (polyMAA), HMD-MIP and HMD-non imprinted polymer (NIP) electrode. The HMD-MIP has demonstrated its performance as a sensitive voltammetric sensor for uric acid. The modified electrode has been tested for the determination of uric acid in the serum sample with recovery percentage of 95.7% (n = 2). The limit of detection obtained was 6.0 x 10-10 M. 展开更多
