However, few studies have explored the soil spectral characteristics as response to soil erosion. This study analysed the spectral response of different eroded soils in subtropical China, and then identify the spectral characteristics and soil properties that better discriminate softs with different erosion degrees. Two methods were compared: direct identification by inherent spectral characteristics and indirect identification by predictions of critical soft properties. Results showed that the spectral curves for different degrees of erosion were similar in morphology, while overall reflectance and characteristics of specific absorption peaks were different. When the first method is applied, some differences among different eroded groups were found by integration of associated indicators. However, the index of such indicators showed apparent mixing and crossover among different groups, which reduced the accuracy of identification. For the second method, the correlation between critical soil properties, such as soil organic matter (SOM), iron and aluminium oxides and reflectance spectra, was analysed. The correlation coefficients for the moderate eroded group were primarily between -0.3 to -0.5, which were worse than the other twogroups. However, the maximum value of R2 was obtained as 0.86 and 0.94 for the non-apparent eroded and the severe group. Furthermore, these two groups also showed some differences in the spectral response of iron complex state (Fep), Aluminium amorphous state (Alo) and the modelling results for soil organic matter (SOM). The study proved that it is feasible to identify different degrees of soil erosion by hyperspectral data, and that indirect identification by modelling critical soil properties and reflectance spectra is much better than direct identification. These results indicate that hyper-spectral data may represent a promising tool in monitoring and modelling soil erosion.展开更多

After the sparse representation, the color labels of the effective elements of the sparse coding dictionary are selected according to the sparse coefficient and then the mixed images are displayed. The generated images maintain spectral distance preservation and have good separability. For local ground objects, the proposed single-pixel mixed array and improved oriented sliver textures methods are integrated to display the specific composition of each pixel. This avoids the confusion of the color presentation in the mixed-pixel color display and can also be used to reconstruct the original hyperspectral data. Finally, the model effectiveness was proved using real data. This method is promising and can find use in many fields, such as energy exploration, environmental monitoring, disaster warning, and so on.展开更多

Based on the Linear Mixing Model ( LMM), a new method under the framework of nonnegative matrix fac- torization (NMF) is proposed, namely minimum distance constrained nonnegative matrix factoriza- tion (MDC-NMF). In this paper, firstly, a new regularization term, called endmember distance (ED) is considered, which is defined as the sum of the squared Euclidean distances from each end- member to their geometric center. Compared with the simplex volume, ED has better optimization properties and is conceptually intuitive. Secondly, a projected gradient (PG) scheme is adopted, and by the virtue of ED, in this scheme the optimal step size along the feasible descent direction can be calculated easily at each iteration. Thirdly, a finite step ( no more than the number of endmem- bers) terminated algorithm is used to project a point on the canonical simplex, by which the abun- dance nonnegative constraint and abundance sum-to-one constraint can be accurately satisfied in a light amount of computation. The experimental results, based on a set of synthetic data and real da- ta, demonstrate that, in the same running time, MDC-NMF outperforms several other similar meth- ods proposed recently.展开更多

The first method was based on the use of a deuterium lamp (BGCD2 mode). The second one required a Cd hollow cathode lamp pulsated with a current for which the intensity varies in the course of time (BGCSR mode). The results showed that the choices of the analytical technique and the method used for the background compensation depend on the Cd, As and Fe concentrations in the solution and the concentration ratios As/Cd or/and Fe/Cd. In comparison with the ICP-AES and the ETAAS in combination with the BGCD2 mode, it was shown that the high-speed self-reversal method (HSSR) was a more appropriate method to correct As and Fe spectral interferences during the Cd measurements. On the other hand, depending on the Cd concentration, it was established that no significant Fe interference occurred during the Cd determination even if Fe concentration was 50 mg/L, reflecting the efficiency of the HSSR method to overcome the Fe interferences in the determination of Cd concentration by ETAAS without any matrix modifier in water extracts.展开更多

Both the noisy bands and the noise-free bands are transformed via curvelet band by band. The high frequency coefficients in junk bands are replaced with linear interpolation of the high frequency coefficients in noise-flee bands, and the low frequency coefficients remain the same to keep the main spectral characteristics from being distorted. Jutak bands then are recovered after the inverse curvelet transform. The performance of this method is tested on the hyperspectral data cube obtained by airborne visible/infrared imaging spectrometer (AVIRIS). The experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the traditional denoising method BayesShrink and the art-of-state Curvelet Shrinkage in both roots of mean square error (RMSE) and peak-signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of recovered bands.展开更多

Based on ground-measured corn hyperspectral reflectance and FPAR data over Northeast China, the correlations between corn-canopy FPAR and hyperspectral reflectance were analyzed, and the FPAR estimation performances using vegetation index (VI) and neural network (NN) methods with different two-band-combination hyperspectral reflectance were investigated. The results indicated that the corn-canopy FPAR retained almost a constant value in an entire day. The negative correlations between FPAR and visible and shortwave infrared reflectance (SWIR) bands are stronger than the positive correlations between FPAR and near-infrared band re- flectance (NIR). For the six VIs, the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and simple ratio (SR) performed best for estimating corn FPAR (the maximum R2 of 0.8849 and 0.8852, respectively). However, the NN method esti- mated results (the maximum Rz is 0.9417) were obviously better than all of the VIs. For NN method, the two-band combinations showing the best corn FPAR estimation performances were from the NIR and visible bands; for VIs, however, they were from the SWIR and NIR bands. As for both the methods, the SWIR band performed exceptionally well for corn FPAR estimation. This may be attributable to the fact that the reflectance of the SWIR band were strongly controlled by leaf water content, which is a key component of corn photosynthesis and greatly affects the absorption of photosynthetically active radiation (APAR), and makes further impact on corn-canopy FPAR.展开更多

The calculated results are in good agreement with all the experimental data. Their physical origins have also been explained. It is found that the mixing-degree of and base-wavefunctions in the wavefunctions of R1 level of GSGG:Cr3+ at 300 K is remarkable under normal pressure, and the mixing-degree rapidly decreases with increasing pressure. The change of the mixing-degree with pressure plays a key role not only for the 'pure electronic' PS of R1 line and R2 line but also the PS of R1 line and R2 line due to EPI. The pressure-dependent behaviors of the 'pure electronic' PS of R1 line (or R2 line) and the PS of R1 line (or R2 line) due to EPI are quite different. It is the combined effect of them that gives rise to the total PS of R1 line (or R2 line). In the range of about 15 kbar ~ 45 kbar, the mergence and/or order-reversal between levels and levels take place, which cause the fluctuation of the rate of PS for with pressure. At 300 K, both the temperature-dependent contribution to R1 line (or R2 line or U band) from EPI and the temperature-independent one are important.展开更多

The species of mercury were separated by a Venusil MP-C 18 (5μm, 150 mm×4.6 ram) column with the optimized mobile phase containing 5% (w/v) acetonitrile, 0.01 mol/L L-cysteine and 0.06 moL/L ammonium acetate. The tissues of rats were freeze-dried after giving the medicine for 10 d, and then added into the solution containing 10% (w/v) HC1, 1% (w/v) sulfocarbamide and 0.15% (w/v) KC1 for increasing extraction rate. The resolutions of Hg2+, MeHg and EtHg were 1.5 and 2.9, respectively. The detection limits of Hg2+, MeHg and EtHg were 2.0, 1.0 and 0.9 ng/mL, respectively. The relative standard deviation (RSD) of inter- and intra-day precisions ranged from 1.56% to 2.86%. The recovery rates of three different adding level were 87%-101% (n=6), and the RSDs were smaller than 8.2%. The results show that no MeHg and EtHg were detected in rat tissues. Only soluble mercury (Hg2+) was determined for the mercury species of SHXW in rat tissues.展开更多

Se-yeast (Selenium-enriched yeast) is a common form of selenium used to supplement dietary intake of this important trace mineral. In the present study, we tried to prepare an organic selenocystine using locally isolated bread yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). A novel locally prepared date extract media enriched by addition of 0.2% KH2PO4 (potassium phosphate), 0.6% ammonium sulfate was adopted as alternative culture media. Differences concentrations of selenium salt (30, 60, 120 and 240 lag/mL) were added to the yeast culture media. While the best concentration of selenium added was 30Bg/mL, it achieved optimal conditions for the growth of yeast and the production of red yeast growth identical to the standard. The products (organic selenocystine) were analyzed by HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer) comparing with authentic standard obtained from Sigma. Results confirmed the formation of similar selenocystine products.展开更多

In this paper, a fast clonal selection feature selection algorithm (FCSFS) for hyperspectral imagery is proposed to improve the convergence rate by using Cauchy mutation instead of non-uniform mutation as the primary immune operator. Two experiments are performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm in comparison with CSFS using hyperspectral remote sensing imagery acquired by the pushbroom hyperspectral imager (PHI) and the airborne visible/infrared imaging spectrometer (AVlRIS), respectively. Experimental results demonstrate that the FCSFS converges faster than CSFS, hence providing an effective new option for dimensionality reduction of hyperspectral remote sensing imagery.展开更多

Thirdly, a finite step ( no more than the number of endmem- bers) terminated algorithm is used to project a point on the canonical simplex, by which the abun- dance nonnegative constraint and abundance sum-to-one constraint can be accurately satisfied in a light amount of computation. The experimental results, based on a set of synthetic data and real da- ta, demonstrate that, in the same running time, MDC-NMF outperforms several other similar meth- ods proposed recently.
文摘Cadmium (Cd) concentrations in the water extracts of ten contaminated soils by arsenic (As) with various iron (Fe) contents were measured using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) and electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS), Due to the potential spectral interferences of As and Fe in the quantification of Cd, two methods were used for the background compensation. On the other hand, depending on the Cd concentration, it was established that no significant Fe interference occurred during the Cd determination even if Fe concentration was 50 mg/L, reflecting the efficiency of the HSSR method to overcome the Fe interferences in the determination of Cd concentration by ETAAS without any matrix modifier in water extracts.

文摘Under consideration that the profiles of bands at close wavelengths are quite similar and the curvelets are good at capturing profiles, a junk band recovery algorithm for hyperspectral data based on curvelet transform is proposed. The experimental results show that the proposed method is superior to the traditional denoising method BayesShrink and the art-of-state Curvelet Shrinkage in both roots of mean square error (RMSE) and peak-signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) of recovered bands.

文摘The fraction of photosynthetically active radiation (FPAR) is a key variable in the assessment of vegetation productivity and land ecosystem carbon cycles. This may be attributable to the fact that the reflectance of the SWIR band were strongly controlled by leaf water content, which is a key component of corn photosynthesis and greatly affects the absorption of photosynthetically active radiation (APAR), and makes further impact on corn-canopy FPAR.

文摘A remnant dispersion monitoring method based on spectral-shift of SOA in high speed optical communication system with CSRZ format and single channel speed of 40 Gbit/s is proposed. The system performance can be optimized by careful choosing bandwidth and center wavelength of the optical fiber grating filter. The dynamical monitoring range is ±60 ps/nm and the monitoring precision is about 5 ps/nm. This method can be suitable for the application in dynamical dispersion compensation of high speed optical communication systems.
文摘By means of both a theory for pressure-induced shifts (PS) of energy spectra and a theory for shifts of energy spectra due to electron-phonon interaction (EPI), the 'pure electronic' PS and the PS due to EPI of R1 line, R2 line, and U band of GSGG:Cr3+ at 300 K have been calculated, respectively. At 300 K, both the temperature-dependent contribution to R1 line (or R2 line or U band) from EPI and the temperature-independent one are important.

文摘The estimation of oil spill coverage is an important part of monitoring of oil spills at sea.The spatial resolution of images collected by airborne hyper-spectral remote sensing limits both the detection of oil spills and the accuracy of estimates of their size.We consider at-sea oil spills with zonal distribution in this paper and improve the traditional independent component analysis algorithm. For each independent component we added two constraint conditions:non-negativity and constant sum.We use priority weighting by higher-order statistics, and then the spectral angle match method to overcome the order nondeterminacy.By these steps, endmembers can be extracted and abundance quantified simultaneously. To examine the coverage of a real oil spill and correct our estimate,a simulation experiment and a real experiment were designed using the algorithm described above. The result indicated that, for the simulation data, the abundance estimation error is 2.52% and minimum root mean square error of the reconstructed image is 0.030 6.We estimated the oil spill rate and area based on eight hyper-spectral remote sensing images collected by an airborne survey of Shandong Changdao in 2011.The total oil spill area was 0.224 km^2,and the oil spill rate was 22.89%.The method we demonstrate in this paper can be used for the automatic monitoring of oil spill coverage rates. It also allows the accurate estimation of the oil spill area.

文摘A simple and sensitive high performance liquid chromatography-chemical vapour generation-atom fluorescent spectrometry (HPLC-CVG-AFS) method was developed and validated for simultaneous determination mercury species in Su-He-Xiang-Wan (SHXW) and in tissues of rats, respectively. Only soluble mercury (Hg2+) was determined for the mercury species of SHXW in rat tissues.

文摘In contrast to the toxic inorganic forms of selenium to life at very low concentrations, the organic-selenium compounds are of considerable interest and several of them play essential roles in cell biochemistry and nutritional science. Results confirmed the formation of similar selenocystine products.

文摘Clonal selection feature selection algorithm (CSFS) based on clonal selection algorithm (CSA), a new computational intelligence approach, has been proposed to perform the task of dimensionality reduction in high-dimensional images, and has better performance than traditional feature selection algorithms with more computational costs. Experimental results demonstrate that the FCSFS converges faster than CSFS, hence providing an effective new option for dimensionality reduction of hyperspectral remote sensing imagery.

文摘Compared with conventional cameras, spectral imagers provide many more features in the spectral do- main. They have been used in various fields such as material identification, remote sensing, precision agriculture, and surveillance. Traditional imaging spectrometers use generally scanning systems. They cannot meet the demands of dynamic scenarios. This limits the practical applications for spectral imaging. Recently, with the rapid development in computational photography theory and semiconductor techniques, spectral video acquisition has become feasible. This paper aims to offer a review of the state-of-the-art spectral imaging technologies, especially those capable of capturing spectral videos. Finally, we evaluate the performances of the existing spectral acquisition systems and discuss the trends for future work.
