The essentiality of this solution consists of scope of system information, system parameter tables of service status, schedule strategies of load ba lance and how to acquire system parameters and detect service states. The solution proposed is scalable and application oriented and supporting load balance for high performance and fault tolerate for high reliability. The concept that "Exercise is Medicine" has been challenged by the rising prevalence of non-communicable chronic diseases (NCDs). This is partly due to the fact that the underlying mechanisms of how exercise influences energy homeostasis and counteracts high-fat diets and physical inactivity is complex and remains relatively poorly understood on a molecular level. In addition to genetic polymorphisms in humans that lead to gross variations in responsiveness to exercise, adaptation in mitochondrial networks is central to physical activity, inactivity, and diet. To harness the benefits of exercise for NCDs, much work still needs to be done to improve health effectively on a societal level such as developing personalized exercise interventions aided by advances in high-throughput genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics. We propose that understanding the mitochondrial phenotype according to the molecular information of genotypes, lifestyles, and exercise responsiveness in individuals will optimize exercise effects for prevention of NCDs. 展开更多

The influence of the chiral mean field on the in-plane flow in heavy ion collisions at SIS energy is investigated within covariant kaon dynamics. For the kaon mesons inside the nuclear medium a quasi-particle picture including scalar and vector fields is adopted and compared to the standard treatment with a static potential. It is confirmed that a Lorentz force from spatial component of the vector field provides an important contribution to the in-medium kaon dynamics and strongly counterbalances the influence of the vector potential on the in-plane flow. The calculated results show that the new FOPI data can be reasonably described using the Brown & Rho parametrization, which partly takes into account the correction of higher order contributions in the chiral expansion. This indicates that one can abstract the information on the kaon potential in a nuclear medium from the analysis of the in-plane flow. 展开更多

The question that arises is: could be this phenomenon evaluated quantitatively a priori, e.g., could be the failure due to delamination wear predicted? In order to do some finite element simulations were performed to dynamically determinate the contact area and contact pressure for three different activities. The results obtained using VIPRO platform lead to the conclusion that many clinically reported failures of the tibial tray are caused by the adhesive and fatigue wear. 展开更多

In the present paper, poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) with high viscosity-average molecular weight was fabricated with L-lactide (LLA) and glycolide (GA) as monomers via opening-ring polymerization. Fourier transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, ~H-NMR, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were applied to characterize the products. Viscosity method was used to determine the viscosity-average molecular weight of the PLGA copolymers. Moreover, the mechanical strength of PLGA was investigated. The results showed that the highly pure LLA and GA were prepared. The as-fabricated PLGA was typical semicrystalline copolymer with the crystallinity of 18.72%. Both viscosity-average molecular weight and mechanical strength of PLGA decreased gradually with the increase of GA content. In addition, the higher the viscosity-average molecular weight was, the more the microcracks and holes on the cross-section of PLGA copolymer materials were, the smoother the cross-sections were. 展开更多

The Connection between the Sea Surface Height Anomaly Preceding the Indian Ocean Dipole and Summer Rainfall in China

The sea surface height anomaly(SSHA) signals leading the fall Indian Ocean Dipole(IOD) are investigated. The results suggest that, prior to the IOD by one year, a positive SSHA emerges over the western-central tropical Pacific(WCTP), which peaks during winter(January-February-March, JFM), persists into late spring and early summer(April-May-June, AMJ), and becomes weakened later on. An SSHA index, referred as to SSHA_WCTP, is defined as the averaged SSHA over the WCTP during JFM. The index is not only significantly positively correlated with the following-fall(September-October-November, SON) IOD index, but also is higher than the autocorrelation of the IOD index crossing the two different seasons. The connection of SSHA_ WCTP with following-summer rainfall in China is then explored. The results suggest that higher(lower) SSHA_ WCTP corresponds to increased(reduced) rainfall over southern coastal China, along with suppressed(increased) rainfall over the middle–lower reaches of the Yangtze River, North China, and the Xinjiang region of northwestern China. Mechanistically, following the preceding-winter higher(lower) SSHA_WCTP, the South Asia High and the Western Pacific Subtropical High are weakened(intensified), which results in the East Asian summer monsoon weakening(intensifying). Finally, the connection between SSHA_WCTP and El Ni?o-Southern Oscillation(ENSO) is analyzed. Despite a significant correlation, SSHA_WCTP is more closely connected with summer rainfall. This implies that the SSHA_WCTP index in the preceding winter is a more effective predictor of summer rainfall in comparison with ENSO. 展开更多

In recent years,conjugated polymers have attracted great attention in the application as photovoltaic donor materials in polymer solar cells(PSCs).Broad absorption,lower-energy bandgap,higher hole mobility,relatively lower HOMO energy levels,and higher solubility are important for the conjugated polymer donor materials to achieve high photovoltaic performance.Side-chain engineering plays a very important role in optimizing the physicochemical properties of the conjugated polymers.In this article,we review recent progress on the side-chain engineering of conjugated polymer donor materials,including the optimization of flexible side-chains for balancing solubility and intermolecular packing(aggregation),electron-withdrawing substituents for lowering HOMO energy levels,and two-dimension(2D)-conjugated polymers with conjugated side-chains for broadening absorption and enhancing hole mobility.After the molecular structural optimization by side-chain engineering,the2D-conjugated polymers based on benzodithiophene units demonstrated the best photovoltaic performance,with powerconversion efficiency higher than 9%. 展开更多

OBJECTIVE:To combine calorie-restriction therapy(CRT) with Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) using Lingguizhugan Decoction and note the effects on expression of inflammatory cytokines[tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),interleukin(IL)-6]in high-fat-diet induced hyperlipidemia in rats.METHODS:Forty rats were divided randomly and equally into four groups:control group A(regular feeding for 5 weeks);model group B(high-fat diet for 5 weeks),calorie-limited group C(high-fat diet for 5 weeks) and TCM calorie-limit group D(high-fat diet for 5 weeks).After modeling,groups C and D were fasted for 3 days:group C with simple fasting,and group D with TCM fasting.The motion as well as changes in color,body weight,food intake,plasma lipids[low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol,total cholesterol(TC) and triglyceride(TG) along with TNF-α,hs-CRP and IL-6]were measured before and after intervention.RESULTS:Modeled rats were established after five weeks.After 3 days of fasting,compared with group B,blood lipid levels(TG,TC,LDL-C) of groups C and D decreased dramatically.Those of group D decreased more obviously than those of group C.However,the values of TNF-α,hs-CRP and IL-6 showed no obvious difference between each of the three treatment groups.CONCLUSION:CRT can reduce fasting blood lipid levels in rats,but not by reducing the levels of inflammatory cytokines. 展开更多

In the presence of collective flow a new model potential describing the interaction of the hard jet with scattering centers is derived based on the static color-screened Yukawa potential.The flow effect on jet quenching with detailed balance is investigated in pQCD.It turns out,considering the collective flow with velocity vzalong the jet direction,the collective flow decreases the LPM destructive interference comparing to that in the static medium.The gluon absorption plays a more important role in the moving medium.The collective flow increases the energy gain from gluon absorption,however,decreases the energy loss from gluon radiation,which is(1-vz)times as that in the static medium to the first order of opacity.In the presence of collective flow,the second order in opacity correction is relatively small compared to the first order.So that the total effective energy loss is decreased.The flow dependence of the energy loss will affect the suppression of high pThadron spectrum and anisotropy parameter v2in high-energy heavy-ion collisions. 展开更多
