The results show that the information transmission can be enhanced when a certain amount of noise is presented, i.e., aperiodic stochastic resonance (ASR). Then, the influence of signal amplitude and the ST threshold on ASR is examined, the applicability of the ST in reducing the noise level of random signal transmission and improving the quality of output signal via ASR effect is illustrated. This research is of great interest in the field of digital communications.展开更多

The new results in this field [the electromagnetic (era) waves generation in the gap in the process of longitudinal acceleration in the electric field vanishing on the star surface, high frequency break in the spectrum as a result of switching off this generation, formation in this process a power-low spectrum with a high frequency (hf) break, the possibility determination of pulsar magnetic field by the hf break position, the difference between main pulse and inter pulse mechanism generation, quantization of em tornado rotation in the gap and appearance of the bands in the inter pulse spectrum, influence the high energy density in the gap on pair generation and position of the dead line in pulsars] are added in the intermediate epilogue.展开更多

We find that in this case K^- and K^0 condensations can occur at relative shallow optical potential depth of K^ from -80 MeV to -160 MeV. Both K^- and K^0 condensations favor the appearances of △ resonances. With K^- condensations all the △ quartet can appear well inside the maximum mass stars. The appearances of △ resonances change the composition and distribution of particles at high densities. The populations of △ resonances can enhance K^- condensation. It is found that in the core of massive neutron stars, neutron star matter includes rich particle species, such as antikaons, baryon octet, and △ quartet. In the presence of △ resonances and K^- condensation, the EOS becomes softer and results in smaller maximum mass stars. Furthermore the impact of antikaon condensations, hyperons, and △ resonances on direct Urca process with nucleons is also discussed briefly.展开更多

Hydraulic fluids of new concept, high bulk modulus oils, have been developed as a new approach to improve the performance of a hydraulic servo system and verified. In this paper, practical performances of high bulk modulus oil, such as oil temperature rise during pump test, air bubbles generation by ultrasonic wave vibration, oxidation stability and anti-wear property, were studied. And the new oil was confirmed to have excellent practical performances besides advantages in pressure response and volumetric efficiency of pumps. Various new applications of the new oil are promising.展开更多
