To conform to the college English teaching reform from English for General Purposes (EGP) to English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in the vital transfer era, the Foreign Language Department of Second Military Medical Un... To conform to the college English teaching reform from English for General Purposes (EGP) to English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in the vital transfer era, the Foreign Language Department of Second Military Medical University (SMMU) launched an English for Medical Academic Purpose (EMAP) curriculum with English Forum on Medical Humanities (EFMH), a project-based teaching practice. Based on Rogers' learner-centered humanistic teaching approach which emphasizes students' involvement and experiences in learning, EFMH puts students and their practice in a central place. After four-year exploration and operation, the Forum has developed from a small-scaled embryo into an internationalized, standardized and professionalized event, having produced fruitful outcomes. It is expected that the success of EFMH will provide inspiring experiences and enlightenments for higher medical education in terms of academic English teaching and teachers' responsibilities to foster high-quality medical students. 展开更多

Social practice is an indispensable component of talents cultivation in universities and a necessary approach to lead students' rapid self=development. As one of the applications of Social practice of talents cultivation, practical education in universities refers to a fresh new university education mode: the coordinated development of teaching, managing and serving in universities. Foreign language majors are laden with heavy responsibility ofintemational communications and how to develop and promote the practical education for those students seems much more important and necessary. The paper tries to probe into the practical education mode of foreign language majors in universities and the conclusions are as follows: (1) This mode depends largely the combination of practical education and education of socialist core value system, course studying, career planning, employment and entrepreneurship, serving the society, and financial aid. (2) This mode is able to provide an effective exemplification for the cultivation of the high-qualified and well-educated foreign language talents. Massification--which sank--forces universities to meet the challenge of public diversity and to justify pedagogical research. This article takes into consideration particular way of these new requirements heuristic and praxeological referred to teaching that must take into account the expectation of the learner. This work is in a descriptive and explanatory approach and aims to promote higher teaching practices through the new interactive technology tools to stimulate educational innovation within the university system. The aim of this work is the inclusion of massification to contribute to the development of a model for interactivity and effectiveness of learning. This model was developed from a theoretical approach since the state of the art and an empirical approach for several experiments. The study focused on a database C2i exams "IT and lnternet certification of all learners of the Academy of Montpeilier (n = 4,254) on the online formapro platform". The results have shown that the success rate is highly correlated with the duration of prior self. The integration of these technologies in universities offers interactivity and learning environment for adjusting teaching practices and acquiring new skills. 展开更多
