“4R”理论在高教英语教学中的应用研究

随着我国教育制度的不断改革,我国教育的形式已由原来的单一模式逐渐向多元化方向发展。作为我国教育形式的一个方面,高职教育在当今社会中发挥着越来越大的作用,为社会培养了职业技能较高的社会亟需人才。作为高职基础课程,高教英语在高职学生未来就业以及职业生涯规划等方面起到了十分关键之作用。本文主要以高教英语为重点论述对象,结合后现代主义教学观的典型代表——多尔的"4R"教学理论,首先介绍了多尔的"4R"教学理论,然后阐述如何将"4R"理论运用于高教英语教学中,最后阐明了"4R"理论运用于高教英语教学中的几点意义。

This paper suggests a chunk approach to solve the plateau problem among advanced English learners. The paper first discusses the extant problems and then provides a definition of the chunk approach. Based on some research results in cognitive psychology, it analyses the important role that chunks play in language acquisition and production and thus provides a cognitive foundation for implementing the chunk approach in English teaching.
