Methods: This study examined 251 children aged 11 of the 5th grade in one primary school at Hangzhou of China with RCMAS,from which 50 of the highest scores(the high anxious group),and 50 of the lowest scores(the low anxious group)were selected. The experimenter asked them to response to the given situations of teacher’s authoritative behaviors. Results: (1) There are significant differences in children’s responses to teacher’s authoritative behaviors between the high and the low anxious group; the high anxious group is more anxious in responset to teacher’s authority than the low one; (2) There are significant differences in male children between the high and the low anxious group, there is no significant difference in female children between the high and the low anxious group.Among the male children, the low anxious group is more teacher’s authority oriented than the high one. Conclusion: The results indicate that children’s anxious levels are related to their responses to teacher’s authoritative behaviors and there are gender differences.展开更多
