Problems in Higher Vocational Education Teaching and Corresponding and Countermeasures and Suggestions——Taking Jiangsu Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry as an Example

Higher vocational education, as an important component of higher education, is a newly emerging higher education type, and an important way to achieve the goal of popularization of higher education. At present, China is in an important period of adjustment and optimization of industrial structure, vigorous development of new industries, and the higher vocational education undertakes the arduous task of improving the quality of workers and cultivate specialized personnel, who are an indispensable important force in the process of modernization. It is related to the future development of education, but also to the overall development of economy and society of China. Taking Jiangsu Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry as an example, the existing problems in higher vocational education teaching were pointed out based on the analysis on its sustainable development status, and the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were proposed.

The Study of English teaching mode based on information platform in higher vocational education

The development of modem information technology brings opportunities to vocational English teaching reform. Teachers use the advantages ＆modem information technology can create a good teaching situation, optimize the classroom teaching process, cultivate student＇ s self-learning ability, and improve the effectiveness of vocational English classroom teaching. The purpose of college English teaching is to enable students to master certain basic knowledge and skills in English, with some listening, speaking, reading, writing, translation ability, a simple verbal and written communication in daily activities and foreign business activities. Modem information technology provides a strong tecbaaical support to achieve this goal. Multimedia teaching methods widely used in teaching activities to vocational English class have brought a series of profound changes. Teachers using modem educational teclmology to fully develop learning resources, build new teaching model, which make vocational English classroom full of vigor and vitality.

Employability Skills Needed by Higher Vocational Education Graduates to Be Successful in the Workplace

The current issues in workforce development are on high competence not only in technical skills, but also in non-technical skills. The term of non-technical skills is also called as employability skills. The research with topic analysis and development ofemployability skills of polytechnic students aims to： describe supervisors＇ perceptions of the importance of the employability skills needed in the workplace; describe supervisors＇ perceptions of the students＇ level of competence at performing the employability skills; and find the attributes of employability skills that are need to prioritize for development. Research sample has been selected by using a stratified random sampling from the supervisor of last year students when they are on the job training in industry. Total 146 supervisors participated in this research. The Employability Skills Questionnaire with a five-point Liken scale was used to assess perceptions level of importance of identified employability skills and students＇ level of competence. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, means and standard deviations, and priority development analysis. Three main groups of the employability skills with highest important level are： workplace health and safety, self-management, and team working. Students have a high level of competence in occupational health and safety, self-management and learning skills. There are three attributes of employability skills in high priority category for developed： knowing the benefits of computer application programs are needed in the work, taking the initiative in organizing activities, and participating in learning activities to gain new experience.

Strengthen the School-Enterprise Cooperation to Promote the Development of Accounting Education

From the significance of school-enterprise cooperation on the development of higher vocational education, this article analyzes some problems that exist in the current accounting professional school-enterprise cooperation, and makes a school-enterprise cooperation need to improve the relevant systems, and to take effective measures to improve initiatives such as school-enterprise cooperation initiative, schools and businesses to work together to achieve the sharing of resources in the government＇s support, finally achieving the mutual benefit and win-win.

The Teaching Methods of English Teaching in Tertiary Vocational Education

Analysis on the Development Trend of the Art Education in Higher Vocational Colleges

On the effectiveness of the ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges

Analysis of the ideas of the construction of the classroom teaching mode of Higher Vocational English teaching in colleges in the new period
