The impacts of the reaction pressure, reaction temperature and reaction time of SH route, and the calcination temperature of SSR route on the purity, particle morphology and electrochemical properties of the prepared LiMn2O4 materials were studied. The experimental results show that after 15 min reaction in SH route at 400 ℃ and 30 MPa, the reaction time of SSR could be significantly decreased, e.g. down to 3 h with the formation temperature of 800 ℃, compared with the conventional solid state reaction method. The prepared LiMn2O4 material exhibits good crystallinity, uniform size distribution and good electrochemical performance, and has an initial specific capacity of 120 mA.h/g at a rate of 0.1C (1C=148 mA/g) and a good rate capability at high rates, even up to 50C.展开更多

Under critical conditions according to the nonlinear theory, the critical behaviors and the forming mechanism of pillar instability were discussed by external disturbance , such as stresses waves by blasting , axial force eccentricity ratherish and imperfections in pillar. The results show that the micro-disturbances attenuate with time and they are independence each other when pillar is in the stability state. Their effects on the stability of system are inessential. The correlation degree of disturbances increases sharply and various micro-disturbances are relative and nested reciprocally when the system is in critical state and they also cooperate with each other, which induces system to reach a new state.展开更多

These projects involve the replacement of martensitic 9%–12% Cr steels with nickel(Ni)-base alloys for the highest temperature boiler and turbine components in order to provide sufficient creep strength at 700℃ and above. To minimize the requirement for expensive Ni-base alloys, martensitic 9%–12% Cr steels can be applied to the next highest temperature components of an A-USC power plant, up to a maximum of 650℃. This paper comprehensively describes the research and development of Ni-base alloys and martensitic 9%–12% Cr steels for thick section boiler and turbine components of A-USC power plants, mainly focusing on the long-term creep-rupture strength of base metal and welded joints, strength loss in welded joints, creep-fatigue properties, and microstructure evolution during exposure at elevated temperatures.展开更多

We have theoretically studied the relation between the pressure and the temperature of layered high-temperature superconductor. If the pressure is not a constant, we have a relation of quadratic equation between the pressure and the temperature of layered high-temperature superconductor. In a special case, we find the critical temperature decreases with further increasing pressure. In another special ease, the critical temperature increases with further increasing pressure.展开更多

The critical behavior of both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic cases is studied. Our results confirm that the critical behavior of the ferromagnetic model is independent of the lattice details and lies in the universality class of the three-state ferromagnetic Potts model. For the antiferromagnetic case the transition is of the first order. We have calculated the energy jump and critical temperature in this area. We find there is a tricritical point separating the first order and second order phases for this system.展开更多

The isotherms are calculated using quantum GCMC simulations over the pressure range: 0-150 atm (1 atm = 1.01325 ~ 105 Pa) in the subcritical and supercritical state at 30, 50, 77, 113, 196 and 296 K. The fluid phase density in the pores for each temper- ature is calculated and shown to reach values higher than normal liquid density. The fluid phase density obtained at 30 K is observed to correspond to a highly compressed liquid. The radial distribution function of the adsorbed phase at 30 and 50 K are calculated. The adsorption isotherms are compared with available experimental data at 30, 50, 77 and 298 K.展开更多
