Electrocardiogram wave intervals (R-R,P-R,QRS,T-P,and R-T) shortened while heart rate increased with the increasing of body temperature. The average heart rate was 14.6/min at 5℃,whereas it was 201/min at 35℃. The duration of wave intervals of ECG and the heart rate were related significantly to the body temperature (P<0.001). Among the components of a cardiac cycle the cardiac rest period (TP intervals) and the atria-ventricular conduction time (PR interval) were affected mostly by body temperature. In the other hand the ventricular depolarization and repolarization (QRS and R-T intervals) were relatively less affected by the body temperature. The increasing of heart rate with body temperature was mainly caused by the shortening of ECG wave intervals, and the T-P interval (the cardiac rest period) was shortened more noticeably than other intervals.展开更多

To explore the effects of different doses of exogenous H2S on the electrocardiogram (ECG) of rats generally anesthetized by zoletil, different doses of NariS solution were used for the intervention of intraperitoneal injection 20 rain before the zoletil anesthesia. The ECGs of rats from each treatment group during the time range of 10^th-50^th min were determined under general anesthesia, and then were compared with those from the control group. The results showed that exogenous H2S could significantly reduce the Q-T interval time limit, thus played a role in slowing tachycardia or arrhythmia and other anomalies, thereby protecting the heart. S-T segment and T segment evaluation values were significantly reduced, which might be associated with bradycardia.展开更多

The manufacturing process of the drill is introduced, and drilling experiments are carried out by using of the drill developed. As a result, not only it can drill holes with a high efficiency, but also a good quality of hole inlet and outlet can be obtained for such materials as glasses, marble, granite, Al 2O 3, etc. The prospect in practical application of the technique developed is also discussed.展开更多

Methods: Forty-five patients were divided into three groups to receive epidurally administered saline (Group S), 1.5% (w/w) lidocaine (Group L), or 0,5% (w/w) ropivacaine (Group R) Propofol infusion was started to produce blood concentration of 4 lag/ml. Once the BIS value reached 40-50, endotracheal intubation was facilitated by 0.1 mg/kg vecuronium. Measurements included the time to LOC, effect-site propofol concentrations, total propofol dose, mean arterial blood pressure (MABP), and heart rate (HR) at different study time points. Results: During induction of anesthesia, both Groups L and R were similar for the time to LOC, effect-site propofol concentrations, total propofol dose, MABP, HR, and BIS. The total doses of propofol administered until 1 min post-intubation were significantly less in patients of Groups R and L compared with Group S. MABP and HR were significantly lower following propofol induction compared with baseline values in the three groups, or MABP was significantly increased following intubation as compared with that prior to intubation in Group S but not in Groups R and L while HR was significantly increased following intubation in the three groups. Conclusion: Epidural anesthesia with 1.5% lidocaine and 0.5% ropivacaine has similar effects on the time to LOC, effect-site propofol concentrations, total propofol dose, and the hemodynamic variables during induction of general anesthesia.展开更多

[Method] With four varieties of G. elata (Wu G. elata, Hong G. elata, Lv G. elata, Wu-Hong G. e/ata) as test matedals, box planting method and capillary electrophoresis determination were used to conduct the comparative analysis on the planting effect and biochemical fingerprint of four varieties of G. elata which were planted in the same conditions. [Result] There were no significant differences in the number of juvenile tubers after planting for 5 months, and the variety with the best growth potential was Hong G. elata. At 17 months after cultivation, there were no significant differences in the number of im- mature tubers, but the difference in the weight of immature tubers reached the significant level among the 4 varieties, among which Hong G. elata had the largest weight with the average reaching 3 042.20 g. After planting for 17 months, immature tubers of the 4 varieties were determined using capillary electrophoresis, and 4 large peaks were obtained on the maps, in which the 4th peak and the 1st peak had significant specificity. The 4th peak and 1st peak area ratio of Wu G. elata BI. was greater than or equal to 1, showing no intraspecific variation. [Conclusion] The study on the suitable growth environment and variation occurrence period of G. elata could provide theoretical basis for icultivation of G. elata.展开更多

Methods: Double-lumen tube bronchial catheter intubation and interstitial positive pressure ventilation (IPPV) were used in all patients with video-assisted thoracic surgery after fast-speed venous induced anesthesia. IPPV, positive expiratory pressure (PEEP) and continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in collapse lobes of lung were used in one lung ventilation, and ventilation parameters were adjusted. Results: Two hundred and fifity- two patients double-lumen bronchial tube intubation used by fiberscope was located very well. The level of oxygen saturation of blood (Sp02), end.tidal carbon dioxide pressure (PETCO2) could be maintained normal. 5 cases were forced to converse video-assisted thoracic surgery to thoracotomy because of 2 cases pulmonary adhesion, 2 cases severe pulmonary dysfunction and 1 case abnormal anatomy respectively. Conclusion: Long one lung ventilation such as pulmonary adhesion, severe pulmonary dysfunction and abnormal anatomy should be considered to be relative contraindication.展开更多
