Action Mechanism of Components from Gardenia jasminoides on Eye Skin Based on Network Pharmacology

[Objectives]To explore the pharmacological effects of Gardenia jasminoides and its potential benefits on eye skin.[Methods]TCMSP and SymMap databases were used to screen the active components and corresponding targets of G.jasminoides.Human eye skin-related targets were screened,and the active component-target network and protein-protein interaction(PPI)network were established.Gene ontology(GO)analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway analysis were performed.[Results]Twenty-six active compounds were screened out from G.jasminoides,and 277 targets were obtained.From the Gencards database,26652 disease targets were retrieved and 205 related gene targets were screened.The active component-action target network of G.jasminoides constructed by Cytoscape software revealed the potential of G.jasminoides to play a role in multiple biological pathways.In addition,PPI-network analysis,GO function analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis revealed that the active components of G.jasminoides mainly regulate the biological processes such as inflammatory response,oxidative stress and apoptosis,involving MAPK,NF-κB and other important signaling pathways.[Conclusions]This study provides a theoretical basis for the eye skin protection of G.jasminoides and an important clue for future drug development.

Clinical Effect Analysis of Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens Implantation for Correcting High Myopia and Astigmatism

Objective:To explore the corrective effect of posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation with phakic eyes in the treatment of high myopia and astigmatism.Methods:From May 2023,the hospital began to collect the case data of diagnosis and treatment of high myopia and astigmatism.By May 2024,310 cases were included,all of which were treated with posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation.The visual acuity,astigmatism and axial position of the intraocular lens were observed before and after treatment.Results:At different time points after the operation,the patient’s vision was significantly improved compared with that before the operation(P<0.05),and the vision level was equal to or greater than the best-corrected vision before the operation.At different time points after the operation,the average rotation of the intraocular lens was less than 5 degrees.Astigmatism was significantly lower than that before the operation(P<0.05).After the operation,the intraocular pressure increased in 11 cases,accounting for 3.55%,with no adverse complications such as lens turbidity,glare and obvious halo occurring.Conclusion:The posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation with phakic eyes has an ideal correction effect in the treatment of high myopia and astigmatism,which can effectively improve the vision level of patients and reduce the degree of astigmatism,and has high effectiveness and safety.

Effects of urethane on the response properties of visual cortical neurons in young adult and old cats

Previous studies have shown that visual cortical neurons in old mammals exhibit higher spontaneous activity,higher responsiveness to visual stimuli,and lower selectivity for stimulus orientations and motion directions than did neurons in young adult counterparts.However,whether the responsive difference in cortical neurons between young and old animals resulted from different effects induced by anesthetics has remained unclear.To clarify this issue,we recorded the response properties of individual neurons in the primary visual cortex of old and young adult cats while systematically varying the anesthesia level of urethane,a widely used anesthetic in physiology experiments.Our results showed that cumulatively administrating 50 mg and 100 mg of urethane upon the minimal level of urethane required to anesthetize an old or young adult cat did not significantly alter the degree of neuronal response selectivity for stimulus orientations and motion directions nor significantly change the visually-driven response and spontaneous activity of neurons in old and young adult cats.Cumulatively administrating 150 mg of urethane decreased neuronal responsiveness similarly in both age groups.Therefore,urethane appears to exert similar effects on neuronal response properties of old and young adult animals.

Anti-detection technology of cat eye target based on decentered field lens

Optoelectronic imaging equipment is easy to expose to active laser detection devices because of ＂cat eye＂ effect. In this paper, we propose a new structure of optical system to reduce the retroreflector effect of a cat eye target. Decentered field lens structure is adopted in the design without sacrificing imaging quality and clear aperture. An imaging system with±30° field of view is taken for example. The detailed design and simulation results are presented. The results indicate that this kind of optical system can reduce the retroreflection signal substantially and maintain acceptable imaging performance.

Infrared Absorption Spectra of Serpentine Cat's Eye from Sichuan Province of China

Infrared （IR） absorption spectra and X-ray powder diffraction （XRD） patterrns of sexpenfine cat＇s eye from Sichuan Province have been investigated, and infrared absorption bands of the serpentine have been assigned in this paper. The results indicate that the bands near 3 600 - 3 700 cm^-1 belong to the stretching absorption band VOH, the bands in 948 - 1 100 cm^-1 axe assigned to the stretching vibraling band Usvo, and the bands at 600 570 and 440 cm^-1 respectively belong to the bending vibration band VOH, δMg-O and δSi-O. The serpentine cat＇ s eye includes two types： chrysotile and antigorite. Chrysotile has a sharp and intensive band at 3 688 cm^-1 and a weak band at 3 643 cm^-1 , while antigorite has only one intensive band in the region. At vibration band VSi-O, chrysotile and antigorite have a similar feature at 1 071 cm^-1, but the band at 980 cm^-1 in anfigorite has been split into two bands in chrysotile - a strong one at 1 027 cm^-1 and a weak one at 949 cm^-1. In addition, antigorite has a characteristic bending vibrating band δMg-O at 570 cm^-1. Based on the analysis of the feature of crystal structure, their IR differences axe well explained.

New and Unusual Cat's Eyes and Asteriated Gems

The article describes 6 types of gemstones which show phenomena such as chatoyancy and asterism.The gemstones have not been described before,either because they come from new sources,or because the phenomenon has not been seen before in the type of gemstone described.Gems from the new sources are star garnet from the Karelia Province in Russia,and star garnet from the Jiangsu Province in China.Grandidierite usually does not show a cat’s eye effect,but the two described samples display a weak cat’s eye.An unusual white quartz from Brazil with a sharp cat’s eye is described,as well as a star sapphire with two differently coloured stars on each side of the cabochon,as well as a trapiche-type quartz.The stones were tested with gemmological,microscopic,and advanced techniques and the results are presented.

Randomized controlled trial on the efficacy and safety of autologous serum eye drops in dry eye syndrome

BACKGROUND Autologous serum eye drops(ASEDs),a novel treatment derived from blood serum,have emerged as a groundbreaking solution for managing dry eye syndrome(DES).These drops have shown significant promise in relieving the distressing symptoms of DES.This study aimed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of ASEDs compared to traditional treatments,which often prove inadequate or result in unwanted side effects,particularly in individuals with moderate-to-severe DES.AIM To evaluate whether ASEDs are safer and more effective than conventional artificial tears in the treatment of moderate-to-severe DES.METHODS This multi-centered randomized controlled trial included 240 patients with moderate-to-severe DES from three ophthalmology clinics in China.They were randomly assigned to receive either ASEDs or artificial tears for 12 wk.The primary outcome was the change in the ocular surface disease index(OSDI)score,with secondary outcomes including tear break-up time(TBUT),Schirmer I test,corneal fluorescein staining(CFS),and conjunctival impression cytology(CIC).Statistics analysis was performed using an analysis of covariance with adjustments made for baseline values.RESULTS Our findings revealed that both ASEDs and artificial tears significantly improved the OSDI score,TBUT,Schirmer I test,CFS,and CIC from baseline to week 12.The ASEDs group showed significantly greater improvement in all these measures than the artificial tears group(all P values<0.05).The average difference in the OSDI score between the two cohorts was-10.3(95%confidence interval:-13.6 to-7.0),indicating a substantial improvement in the ASEDs group.The occurrence of adverse events was comparable between cohorts,with no reports of severe adverse events.CONCLUSION ASEDs are more effective and safer than artificial tears for mitigating symptoms of moderate-to-severe DES.ASEDs could be an alternative/supplementary therapy for patients with DES less responsive to traditional treatments.

流浪动物慈善救助中的“远狗近猫”效应及其机制探析

已有的亲社会研究都在关注对人的慈善捐赠,关于流浪动物的慈善救助并未有人探讨。由于日常生活中流浪动物救助信息通常会同时呈现动物类型和空间距离,因此本文基于动物类型和空间距离之间的联结来探讨二者对流浪动物救助意愿的影响,以及其中的机制和边界条件。通过1个内隐联想测验、1个田野实验和7个不同情景的线上实验和实验室实验,本文发现:猫与近空间距离更匹配;狗与远空间距离更匹配(实验1a、1b)。因此,在近空间距离的情况下,呈现流浪猫(vs.流浪狗)引发人们对流浪动物的更高救助意愿;在远空间距离的情况下,呈现流浪狗(vs.流浪猫)引发人们对流浪动物的更高救助意愿(实验2、3、3S、4、4S、5);加工流畅性是内在中介(实验4、4S、5)。此外,思维模式会调节上述“远狗近猫”效应,也即该效应在基于情感的思维模式下存在但在基于理性的思维模式下消失(实验6)。理论层面,本文关注了流浪动物这一新颖的慈善捐赠对象,验证了动物类型和空间距离的内在联系。本文还识别出了流浪动物救助中的“远狗近猫”效应。实践层面,“远狗近猫”效应可以指导慈善组织和机构根据动物类型和空间距离的匹配来合理呈现救助信息。

肉桂醛对赤拟谷盗的熏蒸作用及对成虫保护酶活性的影响

为明确肉桂醛对赤拟谷盗Tribolium castaneum各发育阶段的杀虫活性及对成虫几种保护酶活性的影响,本试验采用三角瓶密闭熏蒸法测定了肉桂醛对赤拟谷盗低龄幼虫、高龄幼虫、蛹和成虫的熏蒸作用及24 h致死中浓度熏蒸后成虫体内超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、过氧化物酶(POD)和过氧化氢酶(CAT)的活性。结果表明,肉桂醛的熏蒸效果与其浓度和赤拟谷盗发育阶段有关,肉桂醛2.5μL/L熏蒸72 h对赤拟谷盗成虫的熏蒸效果最好,幼虫次之。在24 h致死中浓度处理下,赤拟谷盗成虫体内SOD、POD、CAT活性分别在48、12 h和36 h达到最高,其活性分别为对照的2.70、1.03倍和1.96倍。随着熏蒸时间的延长,成虫POD活性在处理36 h后低于对照,SOD、CAT活性分别在处理36~60 h和24~48 h显著高于对照。综上所述,经肉桂醛熏蒸处理后,赤拟谷盗成虫体内动态平衡受到破坏,进而产生毒害作用。因此,肉桂醛对赤拟谷盗的生物防治有较高的应用价值。

自由空间光通信中被动调制研究进展

【目的】传统的自由空间光(FSO)通信需要参与通信的两端同时安装激光发射系统、激光接收系统和捕获、追踪和瞄准系统,使得系统的重量、体积、功耗、设备复杂程度和技术难度被迫提升,限制了FSO通信的发展。而利用非对称空间激光通信链路构建的被动调制技术,能够实现通信端体积小、重量轻和功耗低的设计,为自由空间激光通信技术在中小型场景中的应用提供了便利。【方法】文章对被动调制的原理及其调制形式进行了阐述,介绍了逆向调制系统的组成和逆向调制器(MRR)的工作原理,对常见MRR如角反射器MRR和“猫眼”MRR进行了分析,并对波长的选择以及光学接收器口径的大小进行了探讨。【结果】总结了被动调制的不同实现类型和特点,概括了其在FSO通信中的应用,展望了该技术未来的发展方向和前景。【结论】被动调制在未来可沿着高速率、焦平面像素化、双向通信和相干检测等方向发展并且有较大的发展空间。

猫丙泊酚全凭静脉麻醉效果的试验研究

丙泊酚是兽医临床常用的静脉全身麻醉药,由于具有良好的药代动力学和药效学特征,被广泛应用于小动物临床,其麻醉平稳、诱导快速、苏醒时间短,可以用于短时间的全凭静脉麻醉。试验选取6只成年猫作为试验用动物,随机编号后按照6个不同剂量(20、24、28、32、36、40 mg/kg·h)进行丙泊酚全凭静脉麻醉,使用电刺激模拟手术中的疼痛刺激,在麻醉维持期内的各个时间点监测猫各项生理指标(包括生物反射分数、体温、心率、脉率、呼吸频率、血氧饱和度)及苏醒过程。结果表明,28 mg/kg·h剂量组猫各项生理指标均处于理想范围,且苏醒平稳,可以维持较好的麻醉效果,并且苏醒时间较短,未出现不良反应;以28 mg/kg·h的维持剂量对猫进行绝育术和去势术,均取得比较理想的麻醉效果。研究结果证实,28 mg/kg·h剂量的丙泊酚全凭静脉麻醉可用于猫临床中短时间手术麻醉,必要时可配伍托芬那酸等镇痛药物。

几种重金属对紫背萍的过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性的影响

通过测定试验植物的过氧化氢酶（ＣＡＴ）分解过氧化氢后所放出氧气的量（体积），确定紫背萍（Ｓｐｉｒｏｄｅｌａｐｏｌｙｒｒｈｉｚａ）的过氧化氢酶的活性。结果表明，紫背萍在暴露到镉，锌，铜和铁的不同浓度时，其ＣＡＴ活性明显升高，这表明４种重金属对紫背萍的ＣＡＴ活性均有刺激作用。结果还表明，紫背萍在有铁存在的两种金属的复合作用下（Ｃｄ－Ｆｅ，Ｚｎ－Ｆｅ），其ＣＡＴ活性明显降低。这表明Ｆｅ对Ｃｄ和Ｚｎ均有一定的拮抗效应。在Ｃｕ－Ｆｅ的复合作用下，Ｆｅ对高浓度的ＣＵ有拮抗效应而对低浓度的Ｃｕ有一定的协同作用。

TDG过饱和对鲫鱼的急性毒性效应及CAT活性的影响

为探讨TDG过饱和对鲫鱼的影响,采用流水式生物测试法研究TDG过饱和对鲫鱼的急性毒性效应及CAT活性的影响。结果表明:TDG过饱和水体对第1批鲫鱼胁迫时间为8、10、11和14 h的半致死浓度(LC50)分别是150.7%、139.2%、137.9%和136.2%,第2批试验鲫鱼暴露9、10、11、15 h的半致死浓度分别为142.1%、141.2%、139.0%、134.7%。此外,鲫鱼受TDG饱和度为145%的水体胁迫,肌肉组织和鳃组织CAT活性呈先升后降趋势,且肌肉组织CAT活性低于鳃组织。

Clinical Observation of 48 Cases of Black Eye Circle Treated with Modified Yu Rong San Gel Eye Mask

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Yu Rong San gel eye mask in the treatment of dark circles.Methods:96 cases of patients with dark circles were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.In the control group and the treatment group,the common eye mask and the modified Yu Rong San gel eye mask were applied to the black circle area respectively.After 15min,water was used to wash the face,the application of the mask for one time a day,four weeks,one course,and three courses were observed.Results:After three courses of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);the area of black eye circles in the treatment group was smaller than that before treatment(P<0.05);compared with the control group,the score of black eye circles was lower than that before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Addition and reduction of Yu Rong San gel eye mask is effective in the treatment of dark circles.

基于轮廓匹配的夜晚环境下猫眼目标识别方法

为了解决“猫眼”目标在夜晚环境下难识别的问题,提出了一种基于归一化中心矩的轮廓匹配“猫眼”目标识别方法。首先利用中值滤波对图像进行去噪,采用固定阈值分割完成了对图像的分割,使得“猫眼”目标与部分背景分离,使用Roberts边缘检测提取出了所有物体的边缘,最后采取了基于归一化中心矩的轮廓匹配算法,该算法不受平移和放缩的影响,提取出了图像中的所有圆形目标,并利用面积判别识别了真实目标,对识别出的目标绘制最小外接圆,利用圆心坐标对其定位。通过对不同光照强度下的“猫眼”图像进行实验与对比,验证了该方法的可行性,并通过目标识别评价指标验证了该方法的有效性。实验结果表明,该方法的全局准确率可达92.1%,可以在夜晚环境不同光照强度下成功地对“猫眼”目标进行识别。
