The core education function of higher vocational colleges is to train technical talents with high quality,so as to meet the needs of talents in the development stage of our society.Under the guidance of talent training,higher vocational colleges need to pay attention to establishing an all-round and three-dimensional education model,and promote innovation of higher vocational education on the basis of this.It is also a way to promote the innovation of higher vocational education to vigorously promote the construction of“post,course,competition,certificate”mode in the construction of education mode.Through the construction of“post,course,competition,certificate”mode,the education mode of higher vocational colleges is gradually improved,so as to strengthen the effectiveness of talent training in higher vocational colleges.Therefore,in this paper,the author puts forward some suggestions to promote the construction of the integrated education mode of the electronic information engineering technology major in higher vocational colleges,so as to help improve the talent training level of higher vocational colleges. 展开更多

Effect of Empowering Education on Refined Nursing of Patients with Internal Double J Tubes after Surgery for Ureteral Stricture 被引量:3

<strong>Objective:</strong> To investigate the effect of the theory of enabling education on the fine management of patients with internal double J tubes after ureteral stricture. <strong>Methods: &l... <strong>Objective:</strong> To investigate the effect of the theory of enabling education on the fine management of patients with internal double J tubes after ureteral stricture. <strong>Methods: </strong>Eighty patients with built-in double J tubes after ureteral stricture were selected from the urology department of a grade a hospital in Guangzhou. The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number method, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received refined nursing after surgery, while the observation group received refined nursing including the theory of empowerment education after surgery on the basis of the control group. <strong>Results:</strong> After the intervention, the observation group had a higher standard rate of quality indicators, higher self-efficacy score than the control group (P ≤ 0.05), lower scores of ureteral stent-related symptoms, urinary system symptoms, pain symptoms, total health status, job performance, additional problems and total scores than the control group (P ≤ 0.05), and statistically significant differences were found in the total health status dimension and total scores (P ≤ 0.01). The nursing satisfaction survey, the scores of clinical nursing, health education, psychological counseling and nurse-patient communication were all higher than those in the control group (P ≤ 0.05), and the differences in health education and nurse-patient communication were statistically significant (P ≤ 0.01). <strong>Conclusion: </strong>The theory of enabling education can improve patients’ self-nursing level, promote the implementation of refined nursing quantitative indicators and nursing measures, relieve the poor symptoms of ureteral stricture patients, and improve patients’ satisfaction with nursing work. 展开更多

Net-Zero Energy Building Enhancement for a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum Educational Facility

In the United States, university buildings use 17% of total non-residential building energy per year. According to the NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory), the average lifecycle of a building in a university... In the United States, university buildings use 17% of total non-residential building energy per year. According to the NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory), the average lifecycle of a building in a university is 42 years with an EUI (energy use intensity) of 23 kWh/m^2/y. Current building and energy codes limit the EUI to 16 kWh/m^2/y for new school buildings; this benchmark can vary depending on climate, occupancy, and other contextual factors. Although the LEED (leadership in energy and environmental design) system provides a set of guidelines to rate sustainable buildings, studies have shown that 28%-35% of the educational LEED-rated buildings use more energy than their conventional counterparts. This paper examines the issues specific to a LEED-rated design addition to an existing university building. The forum, a lecture hall expansion of to an existing building at the University of Kansas, has been proposed as environmentally friendly and energy-efficient building addition. Comfort and health aspects have been considered in the design in order to obtain LEED platinum certificate. The forum's energy performance strategies include a double-skin facade to reduce energy consumption and PV (photovoltaic) panels to generate onsite energy. This study considers various scenarios to meet NZEB (net-zero energy building) criteria and maximize energy savings. The feasibility of NZE criteria is evaluated for: (a) seasonal comparison; (b) facility occupancy; (c) PV panels' addition in relation to double skin facade. The results of NZEB approach are compared to LEED platinum requirements, based on Rol (return on investment) and PV panel's efficiency for this specific educational building. 展开更多

Forest sustainability is the foundation of forestry and modern forest management. Originally the central concept was sustained-yield and maximum timber production and then multiple-use and other non-timber values gained importance. After the Rio Conference and development of the Montréal Process in the early 1990’s, forest sustainability rapidly gained importance and various forest certification schemes developed to certify forest products that were grown using sustainable forest management. Forest sustainability and forest certification have become critical topics in forestry curricula. The American Tree Farm System is one of the important North American forest certification organizations. Modern forestry curricula often include a capstone course where forest management plans are developed. We describe a capstone course at Clemson University under development that uses the management standards and management plan template of the American Tree Farm System as a framework for students to develop actual forest management plans for local forest owners. The material is integrated into a series of four courses leading up to the capstone course. The course offered a hands-on approach for students to create management plans using actual certification standards and the system’s management plan template. In addition, students received specialized training to qualify as auditors for the certification system. This is an example of forest sustainability being integrated into the forestry curriculum. 展开更多

In this technical and educational research endeavor, a diverse group of civil engineering students took on the role of creating the means and methods of producing a successful building design. Architectural, structural, and environmental designs were primarily performed. This was followed by detailed cost analysis with the intent of providing a realistic cost comparison by pricing the intended building, using traditional material and typical building methods, versus pricing the building using recycled material and new present-day technology. Some green features needed to achieve a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold certification were considered and applied. It is shown that producing a green building is more costly in present circumstances;however, the additional cost due to greenification pays itself off throughout the years giving in return saving features. Even though the design of a green building comes with detailed planning and costly material, it does generate benefits for the building owner, the society, and most importantly the environment. 展开更多
