However, specific therapeutic communication methods have not been systematized. The purpose of this study was to clarify therapeutic communication methods for families/family members from the perspectives of verbal communication and non-verbal communication through a review of existing literature. Methods: We conducted a search using the medical literature databases PubMed and Ichushi-Web using the keywords “therapeutic communication”. Analysis was performed on seven articles from PubMed and 14 articles from Ichushi-Web that described therapeutic communication methods performed by healthcare professionals for families/family members. Through directed content analysis, therapeutic communication methods were subcategorized, and classified into three categories: verbal communication, non-verbal communication, and verbal/non-verbal communication. Results: A total of 23 subcategories were extracted. Verbal communication included 11 subcategories, such as “asking questions using the communicatee’s words as they are”. Non-verbal communication included five subcategories, such as “noticing changes in the content of the communicatee’s story”. And verbal/non-verbal communication featured seven subcategories, such as “making the communicatee aware of one’s own beliefs”. Conclusion: Therapeutic communication methods included basic care/caring in family interviews/meetings, as well as verbal communication and non-verbal communication that act on family/family members’ beliefs. It is believed that changes in family/family members’ beliefs can be used to eliminate, reduce, or improve problematic conditions in the family. .展开更多

The theory of international communication originated in the West. In the new era, many of its theoretical perspectives need to be reviewed and re-evaluated. Compared with other communication patterns such as mass communication, international communication is highlighted by notable characteristics such as its concern for core national interests, distinctive strategic objectives and e ective changes. It offers a new approach to showcasing comprehensive strength among countries and regions. The development of international communication theory can be divided into three main stages. One prominent contribution of the established theoretical achievements lies in its re ning of multiple important general laws of international communication based on the actual needs and its forming of a theoretical system. The major limitation is that these theoretical achievements, under the influence of Western centralism, place excessive emphasis on competition while paying scant attention to accommodation and mutual learning. In the face of new characteristics and practical requirements in the new era, international communication theory should be equipped with a broader vision for more breakthroughs and innovations.展开更多

Since its implementation in 2013, China has ushered in a significant change in communication ideas and approaches. This strategy also enriches the communication genres of "China's stories" and more importantly enhances its communication effect. In this context, it is necessary to understand and study the significance of this strategic practice, assess the value realization of "China's stories" during the communication process, and thereby establish a basis for future communication of more "China's stories." Based on the factors of relevance theory, this paper analyzes the ideas of and approaches to effective communication of "China's stories" and proposes corresponding strategies.展开更多

Due to the limited HF spectrum resources, a HF communication system with shared channels is considered, where each user equipment(UE) has individual communication demand. In order to maximize the communication probability of the whole system, a matching-potential game framework is designed. In detail, the channel diversity problem is decomposed into two sub-problems. One is channel-transmitter matching problem, which can be formulated as a many-to-one matching game. The other is the transmitter allocation problem which decides the transmission object that each transmitter communicates with under channel-transmitter matching result, and this sub-problem can be modeled as a potential game. A multiple round stable matching algorithm(MRSMA) is proposed, which obtains a stable matching result for the first sub-problem, and a distributed BR-based transmitter allocation algorithm(DBRTAA) is designed to reach Nash Equilibrium(NE) of the second sub-problem. Simulation results verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.展开更多

Based on algebraic graph theory and matrix theory, a simple linear state feedback controller is designed to synchronize the master chaotic system and the slave chaotic systems with a time- varying communication topology connection. The exponential stability of the closed-loop networked synchronization error system is guaranteed by applying Lyapunov stability theory. The derived novel criteria are in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which are easy to examine and tremendously reduce the computation burden from the feedback matrices. This paper provides an alternative networked secure communication scheme which can be extended conveniently. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed networked synchronization method.展开更多

The symmetric encryption, hash and “challenge-response” techniques were adopted to build their protocol. To implement the mutual authentication and session key agreement, the proposed protocol contains two stages: namely initial procedure and real execution stage. Since the lightweight NTRU public key cryptography is employed, their protocol can not only overcome the security flaws of secret-key based authentication protocols such as those used in Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) and Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), but also provide greater security and lower computational complexity in comparison with currently well-known public key based wireless authentication schemes such as Beller-Yacobi and M.Aydos protocols.展开更多

Smyth's model serves as a framework to guide critical reflection step by step in this paper. Relevant theoretical perspectives help to make sense of the author's performance in terms of team communication. Results: It is identified via emancipatory reflection that the author endorses the ideas of equality, respect, trust, and collaboration, which were formed and established during the process of professional socialization. However, different constraints, such as sociocultural, historical, political, and personal factors, impede the author from performing more effectively in terms of team communication.Reconstruction provides the author opportunities to take actions to rectify constraints and avoid the reemergence of previous situations in the future. Conclusions: Reflection is an effective way to gather knowledge and develop comprehensive understanding of practice. Alternative actions for effective team communication are recommended, including formulating ground rules for discussion, guiding nurses in the correct way, transforming conflicts within a team, being an active and reflective listener, and motivating nurses to actively create.展开更多

In this context, it is necessary to understand and study the significance of this strategic practice, assess the value realization of "China's stories" during the communication process, and thereby establish a basis for future communication of more "China's stories." Based on the factors of relevance theory, this paper analyzes the ideas of and approaches to effective communication of "China's stories" and proposes corresponding strategies.
文摘As one kind of important discourse marker in daily life, hedge is often used by communicators and it is also one of pragmatic strategies and means. However,in terms of studies on hedges at home and abroad so far, they have been mainly done in the practical discourses of the fields of business negotiations, diplomatic language, etc.,and the studies on hedges in the film are few.As a typical life sitcom,The Big Bang Theory has been made lots of studies by researchers, which are mainly about humorous discourses or language translation in it.Therefore, this paper selects some episodes from The Big Bang Theory to discuss the usage of hedges as adaptation to the communication context, including the physical world, the social world, and the mental world so as to help people use hedges more accurately in daily life.
文摘This paper calls for the centrality of the rhetorical processes of communication as fundamental to public health, and it argues that the study of rhetorical theory, techniques of argumentation and the histories and limits of language is fundamental and, indeed, ethical to successful public health. This paper will propose a practical, epistemological framework for the cocreation of public health messages within populations.Bolstered by a deliberative process, this paper proposes the reclaiming of the public nature of public health,by examining context, tropes, and cultural/rhetorical tools to make for a more robust and constitutive model for effective public health messages.
文摘Nowadays,computer-mediated communication(CMC) becomes one of the most convenient ways for people to connect with each other in which Chinese/English code-switching has been frequently used and widely spread. The article will memeticly interpret this language phenomenon based on the authentic examples collected from various kinds of CMC,and point out that the Chinese/English code-switching in CMC is a kind of strong memeplex which includes many different strong memes, resulting in the popularity of Chinese/English code-switching in CMC.
文摘The springing up of large language models(LLMs)has shifted the community from single-task-orientated natural language processing(NLP)research to a holistic end-to-end multi-task learning paradigm.Along this line of research endeavors in the area,LLM-based prompting methods have attracted much attention, partially due to the technological advantages brought by prompt engineering(PE)as well as the underlying NLP principles disclosed by various prompting methods.Traditional supervised learning usually requires training a model based on labeled data and then making predictions. In contrast,PE methods directly use the powerful capabilities of existing LLMs(e.g.,GPT-3 and GPT-4)via composing appropriate prompts, especially under few-shot or zero-shot scenarios.Facing the abundance of studies related to the prompting and the ever-evolving nature of this field, this article aims to 1)illustrate a novel perspective to review existing PE methods within the well-established communication theory framework,2)facilitate a better/deeper understanding of developing trends of existing PE methods used in three typical tasks, and 3)shed light on promising research directions for future PE methods.

文摘Benefit from the enhanced onboard processing capacities and high-speed satellite-terrestrial links, satellite edge computing has been regarded as a promising technique to facilitate the execution of the computation-intensive applications for satellite communication networks(SCNs).By deploying edge computing servers in satellite and gateway stations,SCNs can achieve significant performance gains of the computing capacities at the expense of extending the dimensions and complexity of resource management. Therefore,in this paper,we investigate the joint computing and communication resource management problem for SCNs to minimize the execution latency of the computation-intensive applications, while two different satellite edge computing scenarios and local execution are considered.Furthermore, the joint computing and communication resource allocation problem for the computation-intensive services is formulated as a mixed-integer programming problem.A game-theoretic and many-to-one matching theorybased scheme(JCCRA-GM)is proposed to achieve an approximate optimal solution.Numerical results show that the proposed method with low complexity can achieve almost the same weight-sum latency as the Brute-force method.

文摘This paper investigates the channel diversity problem in high frequency(HF) communication systems. Simulation results verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.

文摘The networked synchronization problem of a class of master-slave chaotic systems with time-varying communication topologies is investigated in this paper. An illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed networked synchronization method.

文摘In this paper, the authors present a novel mutual authentication and key agreement protocol based on the Number Theory Research Unit (NTRU) public key cryptography. The symmetric encryption, hash and “challenge-response” techniques were adopted to build their protocol. To implement the mutual authentication and session key agreement, the proposed protocol contains two stages: namely initial procedure and real execution stage. Since the lightweight NTRU public key cryptography is employed, their protocol can not only overcome the security flaws of secret-key based authentication protocols such as those used in Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) and Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), but also provide greater security and lower computational complexity in comparison with currently well-known public key based wireless authentication schemes such as Beller-Yacobi and M.Aydos protocols.
文摘Objective: This paper aims at critically reflecting on the author's personal experience in the context of communication within a nursing team and exploring relevant existing constraints with a view to improving practice and achieving more effective outcomes in team communication. Methods: Critical emancipatory reflection is used to evaluate and interpret the author's practice. Alternative actions for effective team communication are recommended, including formulating ground rules for discussion, guiding nurses in the correct way, transforming conflicts within a team, being an active and reflective listener, and motivating nurses to actively create.
