Landscape Plant Selection and Configuration of Golf Course: A Case Study of Golf Course in Overseas Chinese Town, Yunnan

This paper introduced landscape plant selection and configuration on the golf course of Yunnan Overseas Chinese Town(OCT Yunnan) briefly, divided the course into mountain view course, lake view course and landscape avenue. Considering figures, growth habits and ecological characters of landscape plants, various trees, shrubs, grasses, vines and water flowers are arranged reasonably in different functional areas. In terms of plant selection, tree species adaptive to local climate are adopted, more efforts given to the seasonal aspects, lines, colors, layers, balance, and rhythm, so as to create a garden-like golf course in a short term.

Exploration of Plant Culture Teaching in the Course of Landscape Plants

Study on the Relationship among Literature,Plant Landscaping and Landscape Architecture

By using literature expressions such as singing the praise,attaching morals to plants,and expressing emotions,the relationship between landscape architecture and plants as well as their literature attributes was studied.The relationship between plants and literature was summarized mainly as below:endowing plants with moral implications,indifference to fame and wealth,natural and ecological philosophical views.Correlation between plant literature and natural landscape was elaborated from the formal beauty,fragrance,light and shadow,sound and color beauty of plants,physical literature features of plants,internal relationship between literature connotations of plants and scenic areas was described and studied qualitatively.The study was to achieve the integration of plants,literature,plant landscaping and landscape architecture,and enhance the further research on plant literature,so as to increase cultural elements in plant landscaping,and promote the application of literature characteristics of plants.

Study on Service Platform of Kunming Landscaping Plants Information

For the purpose of Kunming City’s landscaping development and satisfying the needs of botanical garden workers who demand to quickly obtain landscaping plants information and select tree species, a landscaping plant information database was established, which contained almost all Kunming botanical garden plants information. This database was based on Kunming natural environment conditions, and finished by hard work of collecting and analyzing relevant written materials as well as pictures of garden plants. By using B/S Structure model, dynamic web programming language ASP and Photoshop, Dreamweaver as software tools, a Web-based illustrated remote consultation service system of landscaping plants information was constructed.

Thinking on the Artistic Conception Creation of Plant Landscaping Design in Chinese Style Garden

In modern Chinese style garden, the designer could express the emotions in garden creation to produce artistic conception with landscape plants, which could make the sightseers desire to integrate with the nature and led to sympathizing with the concept, thereby motivating and arousing people＇s emotion to return to and close to nature. Through the 6 specific characteristics of ＂shape, color, aroma, shadow, sound and art＂ of landscape plants, some ways to build artistic conception in Chinese style garden were introduced in this study to provide references for the creation of artistic conception creation through senses in the future landscaping design.

Taking Dianchi Lakeview Golf Course in Kunming, Yunnan, China as the object of landscape evaluation, this paper constructed an evaluation index system with the functionality, beauty and ecology of the golf course as the criteria, carried out the landscape evaluation of Dianchi Lakeview Golf Course using the semantic differential (SD), the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and other methods, and discussed the methods, indicators and models of landscape evaluation of urban golf courses.

Research on Application of Plants of Palmae in Hainan Landscaping of China

The paper has introduced ornamental value and application situation of plants of Palmae,and analyzed their collocation methods in landscaping from the perspective of isolated planting,opposite planting,group planting,linear plating,mass planting and basin planting.It has discussed the application of plants of Palmae in road greening,courtyard environment greening,campus environment greening,park and square environment greening,specialized garden,and waterfront and wetland greening.Based on the survey of plant landscapes of Palmae in Hainan,it has illustrated the main application forms and collocation types of plants of Palmae in Hainan,pointed out insufficiencies of plants landscaping,and proposed some suggestions for improvement,so as to better display landscaping function of plants of Palmae.

Analysis of Plant Landscaping Characteristics of the Riverside Park in Baoding City of China

By taking the Riverside Park in Baoding City as an example,based on the analysis of the general situation of the park,the paper considers that it should build plant landscape framework according to local condition,so as to manifest temporal and spatial variation and reflect artistic conception of landscape.Six characteristic scenic spots with remarkable plant landscaping have been selected for the analysis and research of plant landscaping characteristics,aiming to acquire methods for plants processing in riverside landscape belt design.It has pointed out problems existing in riverside plants arrangement and theme's creation,and proposed corresponding reconstruction measures,providing a reference for plant arrangement of urban riverside landscape belt.

Investigation and Analysis of Main Diseases of Landscape Plants in the Main Urban Area of Lu'an City

To figure out the disease occurrence of landscape plants in the main urban area of Lu'an City,the author investigated the disease occurrence of landscape plants in park green space,residential green space,unit attached green space and main road in the area under administration.The survey results showed that there were 29 species of urban landscape plant diseases,mainly powdery mildew and spot diseases.According to the characteristics of the diseases,the causes and problems of the diseases were analyzed,and the corresponding prevention and control measures were put forward.

Woody Climbing Plants and Their Landscaping Application in Chongqing City

There are a variety of woody climbing plants distributed widely in Chongqing City, and they are loved by landscape designers due to their special form and saving space. In respect of actual application,there is a big difference between various species of woody climbing plants in terms of proportion. In this paper, woody climbing plants in Chongqing City were investigated. The results show that there are74 species of woody climbing plants suitable for landscape in Chongqing City. The research can provide reference for the application of woody climbing plants in landscape greening in Chongqing City in future.
