Hybrid Teaching Reform of Veterinary Microbiology Based on the Combination of Virtual Simulation and Problem-Based Learning

The Veterinary Microbiology course is centered around the diagnosis and testing of pathogenic microorganisms,with the core value of“moral education and character development.”It reconstructs multidimensional teaching resources by integrating disciplinary achievements with clinical cases and implements a hybrid teaching approach combining virtual simulation and problem-based learning(PBL)through the“three stages+four models+three reflections”framework.Dual-qualification teachers employ various teaching methods,create a“six-in-one”model for ideological and political education,and conduct formative assessments based on the principles of diversified objectives and process emphasis.The hybrid teaching reform addresses issues such as fragmented knowledge,insufficient class hours,weak animal disease diagnostic abilities among students,limited application and expansion of knowledge points,and students’lack of proactive critical thinking skills.The application of hybrid teaching has shown significant advantages and effectiveness,providing a reference for teaching reform in similar microbiology courses.

Research and Discussion on Flipped Classroom Combined with Case-Based Learning in Pharmacoeconomics Teaching

Objective:To explore the application effect of flipped classroom combined with case-based learning teaching methods in pharmacoeconomics teaching.Methods:The students majoring in clinical pharmacy in 2019 were selected as the study subjects,and the cost-effectiveness analysis of different dosage forms of Yinzhihuang in the treatment of neonatal jaundice was selected as the teaching case.The flipped classroom combined with case-based learning teaching method was used to carry out theoretical teaching to the students.After the course,questionnaires were distributed through the Sojump platform to evaluate the teaching effect.Results:The results of the questionnaire showed that 85.71%of the students believed that the flipped classroom combined with case-based learning teaching method was helpful in mobilizing the learning enthusiasm and initiative,and improving the comprehensive application ability of the knowledge of pharmacoeconomics.92.86%of the students think that it is conducive to the understanding and memorization of learning content,as well as the cultivation of teamwork,communication,etc.Conclusion:Flipped classroom combined with case-based learning teaching method can improve students’knowledge mastery,thinking skills,and practical application skills,as well as optimize and improve teachers’teaching levels.

A Deep Learning-Based Teaching Design for High School Geography Units:Taking the Example of Landforms of the Humanistic Education Edition

The traditional teaching methods of one-way cultivation of students can no longer meet the requirements of talent cultivation at this stage.The issue of how to promote students from passive acceptance to the independent cognitive understanding stage(i.e.deep learning)has become the focus of geography teaching.Therefore,under the guidance of deep learning theory,this paper takes the“landforms”knowledge unit of the Humanistic Education Edition as an example,improves the classroom teaching means through the unit teaching mode,reconstructs the“landforms”teaching unit,and explores the specific teaching of high school geography unit based on deep learning.This study provides a good example and guidelines for high school geography teaching and learning.

Analysis of the Role of Problem-Based Independent Learning Model in Teaching Cerebral Ischemic Stroke First Aid in Emergency Medicine

Objective:To analyze the effect of using a problem-based(PBL)independent learning model in teaching cerebral ischemic stroke(CIS)first aid in emergency medicine.Methods:90 interns in the emergency department of our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected for the study.They were divided into Group A(45,conventional teaching method)and Group B(45 cases,PBL independent learning model)by randomized numerical table method to compare the effects of the two groups.Results:The teaching effect indicators and student satisfaction scores in Group B were higher than those in Group A(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of the PBL independent learning model in the teaching of CIS first aid can significantly improve the teaching effect and student satisfaction.

Reinforcement theory is a behavioral psychology theory proposed by Skinner,which has been widely applied in various fields such as management and education.Positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement are the two types of reinforcement.By adopting these two different reinforcement methods appropriately,human behavior can develop in a positive direction.In the review stage of English teaching and learning in Chinese higher vocational and technical colleges,the use of different reinforcement methods based on various classes,individuals,conditions,and environments can effectively promote or change the behavior of teachers and students,thereby improving the effectiveness of the review.

Application of Seminar Teaching Method Combined with Case-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning Teaching Models in Oral Clinical Nursing Teaching

Purpose:To analyze the role of the seminar teaching method+case-based learning(CBL)teaching method+problem-based learning(PBL)teaching method in oral clinical nursing teaching.Methods:13 undergraduate nursing students who entered the department from September 2020 to September 2021 were selected as the control group,adopting conventional nursing teaching methods;13 undergraduate nursing students who entered the department from September 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the observation group,adopting the seminar+CBL+PBL teaching method.The teaching effects were compared between the two groups.Results:All assessment scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group;all teaching satisfaction levels were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Adopting the seminar+CBL+PBL teaching method during oral clinical nursing teaching can improve nursing students’assessment scores,strengthen their core competencies,and enhance teaching satisfaction.

Learning of Concepts: A Review of Relevant Advances Since 2010 and Its Inspirations for Teaching

This article reviews the psychological and neuroscience achievements in concept learning since 2010 from the perspectives of individual learning and social learning,and discusses several issues related to concept learning,including the assistance of machine learning about concept learning.In terms of individual learning,current evidence shows that the brain tends to process concrete concepts through typical features(shared features);and for abstract concepts,semantic processing is the most important cognitive way.In terms of social learning,interpersonal neural synchrony(INS)is considered the main indicator of efficient knowledge transfer(such as teaching activities between teachers and students),but this phenomenon only broadens the channels for concept sources and does not change the basic mode of individual concept learning.Ultimately,this article argues that the way the human brain processes concepts depends on the concept’s own characteristics,so there are no“better”strategies in teaching,only more“suitable”strategies.

The Application of“Problem-Based Learning+Flipped Classroom”Teaching Model in Bilingual Education

This study focuses on the application of the“PBL(problem-based learning)+Flipped Classroom”teaching model in bilingual education,aiming to explore its potential to enhance the quality and effectiveness of bilingual teaching.PBL emphasizes learning through the resolution of real-world problems,while the Flipped Classroom advocates that students acquire basic knowledge through self-study before class,dedicating class time to in-depth discussions and practical activities.The integration of these two teaching models in bilingual education aims to stimulate students’interest in learning,improve their autonomous learning abilities,enhance critical thinking,and foster cross-cultural communication skills.Through literature review,case analysis,and empirical research,this study first examines the current applications and challenges of PBL and the Flipped Classroom in bilingual education.Subsequently,it elaborates on the specific implementation steps of the“PBL+Flipped Classroom”teaching model in bilingual education,including problem design,preview material provision,cooperative learning,classroom activities,and language support.A comparative experiment is then conducted to analyze the impact of this teaching model on students’learning motivation,academic performance,and cross-cultural communication skills.The results indicate that the“PBL+Flipped Classroom”teaching model significantly improves students’learning motivation and participation,enhances academic performance,and effectively boosts their cross-cultural communication skills.Furthermore,this model aids in cultivating students’autonomous learning abilities and critical thinking,providing an innovative and effective approach to bilingual education.This study offers new ideas and insights for the field of bilingual education,which is of great significance for promoting the innovation and development of bilingual teaching models.

Effectiveness of the“online+offline+practice”trinity teaching model on the learning of junior nursing students:an exploratory study

Background:Surgical Nursing is a main course of nursing specialty and a large course lasting 96 credit hours.In response to the teaching pain points such as the complicated and boring content of the surgical nursing course and the disconnection between classroom theory and clinical practice,surgical nursing is undergoing a teaching reform.Methods:The Surgical Nursing course builds trinity teaching model of“online+offline+practice”and implements teaching reforms by combining the Bridge,Objective,Pre-assessment,Participatory learning,Post-assessment,and Summary(BOPPPS)teaching concept.We constructed a trinity teaching model,and these teaching reform measures included building an online learning platform,offline case teaching and scenario simulation and hospital and community practice.The 50 students in the junior year of the undergraduate nursing program in the class of 2020 were used as the study subjects,and the students’comprehensive scores were compared.The questionnaire was also used to assess students’independent learning ability and to evaluate students’satisfaction with the teaching.Results:The students’course pass(≥60 points)rate was 100%,and the excellence(≥80 points)rate was 24.00%.Students’independent learning ability improved,and the scores and total scores of cognitive self-management ability,information ability and learning co-operation ability were significantly better than those of the national norm(P<0.01).The satisfaction of students in the BOPPPS group with classroom teaching was also significantly higher than that of the control group.Conclusion:The“online+offline+practice”trinity teaching mode can effectively integrate the“Rain Classroom”online platform with the BOPPPS teaching mode.It guides students to actively participate in classroom thinking and discussion,improves students’independent learning ability,and effectively enhances the effect of classroom teaching.

This article aims to introduce an innovative approach to classroom student participation and academic performance in a flexible learning environment at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in Thailand.To achieve this goal,a series of theories,concepts,and related research were reviewed and a comprehensive model of relevant factors was constructed.The research design adopted a mixed methods approach,utilizing quantitative research to test the relationships between variables in the model,followed by qualitative research to gain a deeper understanding of how these factors affect students’grades.Combining the results of quantitative and qualitative research can provide guidance for improving the performance of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University students in flexible learning systems in Thailand.

A Study on the Impact of Psychological Counseling for Minor Medical Students in Clinical Teaching and Learning

Objective:To explore the impact of psychological counseling for underage medical students in clinical teaching.Methods:24 of the 48 underage medical students who were interned in our hospital from March 2023 to February 2024 were randomly selected to adopt the teaching management method of one-on-one psychological guidance as the observation group;the remaining 24 adopted the traditional teaching management method as the control group.The observation of the effects of psychological detachment on various aspects of underage medical students allows the determination of whether psychological detachment impacts clinical teaching.Results:The observation group’s theoretical examination scores,skill assessment scores,and departmental performance evaluation scale score excellence rate were higher than the control group’s,with P<0.05 being statistically significant.At the same time,the clinical teaching and teaching management ability of the hospital was also improved.Conclusion:Psychological guidance for underage medical students can not only improve the comprehensive quality of medical students but also improve the teaching level,which is conducive to improving the teaching effect,and it is a clinical teaching mode worth promoting.

Research on the Effective Path of Cultivating Students’Independent Learning Ability by Analyzing Blended Teaching

A Review on Physical,Online and Hybrid Teaching and Learning Pedagogy for Fashion Design Courses in China

In undergraduate fashion design education,the main focus is on clothing design,fashion brand garments,and design trends,especially on how to create and market these designs.Higher vocational education emphasizes developing design skills and methods,transforming design processes,and managing clothing production.In China,the first undergraduate major in fashion design started in 1983 at Suzhou Silk Institute of Technology,which used to be linked to the Ministry of Textile Industry.The mode of teaching and learning delivery of fashion design courses just like other courses,started with face-to-face teaching in physical classroom and practical training classes.However,due to fast development in educational technology and movement restriction during COVID-19 pandemic,the fashion design education is adapting the innovative learning management system and revolutionized into online and hybrid delivery of teaching and learning content.In this review,fashion design courses in China education system will be elaborated and comparison of physical,online,and hybrid delivery of fashion design course will be discussed.

Results of the virtual simulation teaching method on autonomous learning competencies of undergraduate nursing students

Background:With the continuous development of information technology,most universities use mobile teaching platforms for classroom teaching.With the help of the national virtual simulation experimental teaching project sharing platform,students can enhance self-directed learning through the virtual simulation operations of the project.Purpose:To explore the application of virtual simulation experiment in teaching the fundamentals of nursing practice based on the Platform of the National Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Project during the COVID-19 pandemic analyze the impact of this teaching method on the autonomous learning ability of undergraduate nursing students.Methods:Convenience sampling was used to select 121 nursing undergraduates from Y University’s School of Nursing;the online teaching of fundamentals of nursing practice was conducted to the students.After taking the course,questionnaires were distributed to the undergraduate nursing students to collect their perceptions regarding the use of the virtual simulation experiment platform and autonomous learning competencies.Results:Most students expressed their preference for the virtual simulation teaching platform,and their satisfaction with the project evaluation was high 83.05%.They hoped to promote the application in future experimental teaching.Undergraduate nursing students believed that the virtual simulation teaching platform was conducive to cultivating clinical thinking ability,could stimulate learning interest,enhanced autonomous learning competencies.Conclusion:During the pandemic,the virtual simulation teaching platform for a lecture on in nursing education has achieved good results in both the aspects of teaching and student learning.Teachers efficiently used their training time and reduced their teaching burden.Moreover,the laboratory cost was also reduced.For undergraduate nursing students,the system was conducive to cultivating clinical thinking ability,stimulating their interest in learning,enhancing their learning and comprehension abilities and learning initiative.

Positive effects of native language in the foreign language learning and teaching

Native language has been rejected for a long time in the foreign language class, which results from a misunderstanding to native language transfer by most teachers. Actually, it is an effective learning strategy to complete the communication task under the help of native language, which should be acknowledged. Using native language to explain specific words or grammar rules can take advantage of the limited class-time efficiently and increase the class efficiency; using native language to discuss teaching method and solve the problems for the students can promote their enthusiasm.
