Material Culture as Amulets:Magical Elements and the Apotropaic in Ancient Roman World

This article aims to make a brief presentation on the elements of material culture in the ancient Palestinian region,mainly coins,which were removed from their production context and placed in funerary contexts(coins were often buried in graves),thus converted in amulets,acquiring magical and apotropaic senses.We will use examples verified in different parts of the Roman Empire,as in Pithekússai(modest island,which is in the Italian Peninsula),on the banks of the Thames,in Celtic contexts,more specifically in the current city of Lezoux,France,in the ancient city of Aquincum,present day Budapest,also in Tel Maresha and Tiberias,present-day Israel,to demonstrate how these practices were recurrent throughout the Empire.It is also our intention to observe iconographic elements that bring apotropaic content in their formulations,because,in addition to the role that coins could play in connecting the worlds of men and gods,many people believed that they had the power to project magical and apotropaic strength through images powerful that they portrayed.

Selection and Justification of a New Initial Level of the Material World

The work refers to the foundations of the material world, in particular—to the field of quantum physics associated with the initial level—his fundamental physical constants and elementary particles. The study of the initial levels of structuring of this formation is necessary for a better understanding of the foundations of the structure Universe. Therefore, the solution of these problems is an urgent and important task, to which the works of many scientists of the world are devoted, from ancient times to the present. However, these tasks have not yet been fully resolved. Their solution is the main goal and scientific novelty of the work performed. For this, research methods were used based on the general principles of deduction and movement from simple initial systems to more complex ones, which are substantiated by reliable physical laws. The research results are the choice and substantiation of the initial (zero) level of the material world and a system of fundamental physical constants and physical quantities found on their basis, which precede the 1st level—elementary particles. The problems of determining the wave parameters of the gravitational field and the unified of gravitational and electromagnetic fields of the Universe were solved only as a result of the transition to the zero level of the material world.

棉花MAGIC群体后代株系对赤霉素和缩节胺互作的生态响应及其敏感性鉴定

【目的】以70份棉花多基因型种群(MAGIC)后代株系为材料,研究株系主要性状对花铃期喷施缩节胺、缩节胺+赤霉素的生态响应,鉴定其敏感性。【方法】试验设缩节胺、缩节胺+赤霉素2个处理,每个处理1种浓度,即缩节胺(30 g/hm^2,兑水225kg/hm^2)、缩节胺+赤霉素(30 g/hm^2+0.5 g/hm^2,兑水225 kg/hm^2),以喷清水为对照。9月15日调查棉花株式图,测定单铃重、衣分、子指、理论皮棉产量。【结果】株高、5果枝长、10果枝长、顶部果枝长、单铃重、子指、皮棉产量较对照对缩节胺、缩节胺与赤霉素互作的响应达到极显著水平,与缩节胺处理相比,缩节胺与赤霉素互作对株高、果枝数、总果节、5果枝长、10果枝长的影响达到极显著水平,单株结铃数达到显著水平;除子指外,对其他10个指标均有促进作用。缩节胺与赤霉素互作可显著改变株高、果枝数、5果枝长和10果枝长的生态响应度,而对单株结铃数、单铃重、子指和皮棉产量的生态响应度无显著改变。基于表型生态响应度数据的聚类分析将群体分为3大类,并构建了3个材料池:钝感材料池、中间材料池、敏感材料池。【结论】在本试验条件下,棉花MAGIC群体后代株系性状对缩节胺、缩节胺与赤霉素互作产生了比较明显的响应,为生产中采用赤霉素缓和缩节胺对棉花的不良调控效应提供了依据。极端材料池的构建可以明确群体材料对环境的敏感性,为完善棉花生态响应机制奠定了基础。

China has long been recpgnised as an important source of refractory raw materials far refractory markets world-wide. Bauxite, magnesia, fused a-lumina , and refractory clays in particular, have maintained China s strong position as the world ' s leading supplier of these minerals. However , important changes have taken place in the structure of Chinese and global supply of these minerals. More-over, the world refractory market and the minerals trading sector have also undergone a radical transformation that has influenced mineral supply, and shifted end product manufacture to China. This paper highlights these changes and sees hour they have, impacted on China as a world source of refractory minerals.

Investigation of Mechanical Properties of Mud Bonded Kathmandu World Heritage Buildings

Kathmandu World heritage buildings are made from low strength construction especially traditional bricks. From the lesson from 2015 Gorkha earthquake, saving those buildings in severe quake has been a challenging job. It requires proper assessment of its mechanical properties and strengthening as per seismic requirement. An investigation of mechanical properties on brick masonry heritage building has been done and presented here. Nondestructive test - elastic wave tomography at existing walls of the buildings and destructive tests shear, compression and combined loadings on the wallets made from bricks collected from old buildings The several test tests were conducted to find the properties of brick elements and walls such as, density, modulus of elasticity, Poisson’s ratio, shear modulus, shear wave velocity.

The Self-Deployment of Worlds on the Other Side of the Big Bang

String theory and quantum loop gravity have given us a lot of hope and have achieved some success in trying to build a quantum theory of gravity. However, we still don’t have definitive answers. In this paper, we substantiate the idea of the existence of a Primary Parent Particle, constituents of the medium of primary matter before the Big Bang and describe its structure, consisting of three Beginnings united in the form of Borromeo rings. We derived a generalization of the Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization rules on the multidimensional case and considered problems of the embedding spaces into the each other based on the Nash theorems. Assuming that at the distances occupied by the triad we can consider the space Euclidean flat, we introduce quantum mechanical equations describing them. The problems of constructing the theory of quantum gravity and Dark matter radiation are considered separately. As part of our approach, we describe the acceleration of the Universe created by Dark Energy during expansion. We criticize principle of dualism, which can be used only for linear theories, but is not applicable to nonlinear theories. We investigated various distributions of dark matter densities and the gravitational potentials induced by them in galaxies and velocities for rotation curves. The main goal in the article was to show self-deployment of the Universe and its origin before Big Bang.

The Worlds on the Other Side of the Big Bang

Taking the Big Bang as an established fact, the question inevitably arises about what exactly caused it, in what environment could it have happened and what happened before it. The developed approach allows us to shed light on many raised questions and to establish what universal laws and structures formed what happened before the Big Bang, to understand its cause and the dynamic processes that led to it. This required a radical revision of many views, giving them a new meaning and content. This approach has led to a consistent and conceptually new understanding of these phenomena, which allowed correctly formulate questions to which there are still no clear answers. Based on this formulation of the problem, we came to new ideas about the nature of Dark energy, Dark matter and the region of their birth, formulated and described the mechanism of the formation of worlds and their hierarchy on the other side of the Big Bang and the mechanism of this explosion itself. The Primary Parent Particle was introduced into the concept, which was the basis of everything and is the carrier of the fundamental Primary space introduced by us, which had at least two phase states. This particle consists of Beginnings united in the form of Borromeo rings. This made it possible to calculate the structure and primary spectrum of elementary particles that arose on the other side of the Big Bang, the mechanisms of their formation and the resulting fundamental interactions that lead to the existence of vortices before the Big Bang;the mechanisms of the birth of multiple universes and much more are also considered. The concept of the “cosmic genetic code" is introduced, the characteristics and mechanism of its formation before the Big Bang are presented.

核心素养视域下中国医学史课程大概念教学探析

核心素养的概念诞生于21世纪初,短时间内已经引起了世界各国的重视,并促生了世界级的教育变革。与之关联的教学模式也屡见报道,作为落实核心素养重要举措的大概念教学即为其中之一。2020年,教育部印发了《普通高中课程方案和语文等学科课程标准(2017年版2020年修订)》,此举使得基于核心素养提取大概念的操作成为可能。文章借助《普通高中历史课程标准(2017年版2020年修订)》提出的历史学科的五大核心素养,运用解构核心素养的思路,简单讨论了中国医学史课程的大概念提取,以管窥之见,期抛砖引玉。

大英博物馆陈列文物中的图书馆学与文献学史料

论文介绍了2019年8月笔者参观大英博物馆各类文物展陈中关于图书馆学和文献学史料的一些心得,分为石碑文献、纸莎文献、木牍文献、古代文献与古代文字、古代文献的特别载体、经典文献展示、古代的阅读与阅读推广、中南亚与东亚文献等8个方面,并提供了相应的照片和诸多案例。

将唯物史观把握为马克思哲学的核心内容,并在辩证法与唯物史观内在统一中理解和阐释马克思辩证法及其理论变革,这是俞吾金教授在马克思辩证法理论研究上的重要贡献。俞吾金教授认为,把马克思的辩证法理论与其唯物史观外在割裂,必然导致对马克思辩证法理论本质的“遮蔽”。基于这一理论反思和自觉,俞吾金教授在辩证法与唯物史观的内在统一中开启了“问题域的转换”,揭示了马克思在辩证法与唯物论上所实现的双重转换,使被抽象化解读的辩证法回归“生存论的本体论”的思想地平。俞吾金教授提出的“向生活世界的辩证法复归”构成了他理解马克思辩证法理论变革的理论纲领,有力地推进了马克思辩证法理论研究的纵深发展。俞吾金教授对马克思辩证法理论的探索是其推动马克思主义哲学基础理论研究的一个缩影,为推进哲学基础理论研究的深化提供了一个典范。

论马克思世界历史理论的内在机制及其当代启示

马克思的世界历史理论以科学的唯物史观为根基,对资本全球化所造就的人类历史整体图景进行了总体分析和科学批判。本文认为,世界历史的生成与发展在马克思的视野中表现为一个包含多维机制层级的理论,这包括关于世界历史的生成机制、演进机制、动力机制和目标机制,这四重机制结构在唯物史观的总体结构层级中依次递进与跃迁,直接指向人类历史的客观进程,由此清晰地展示出了世界历史产生、演变与发展的内在规律。当前,马克思世界历史理论依然具有重要的价值意义,它对于建设中国特色社会主义的启示在于:第一,要转变经济增长方式,依靠科技创新推动生产力跨越式发展;第二,实施互利共赢的开放战略,构建全方位对外开放新格局;第三,充分认识资本的历史二重性,以辩证的眼光正确驾驭资本;第四,构建公正合理的国际政治经济新秩序,打造人类命运共同体。
