But in the process of expression and purification, we found this fusion protein slowly degradated. For resolving this problem, we simultaneously added charged amino acids L-Arg and L-Glu to the solution of fusion protein, and demonstrated that this method can dramatically increase the stability of this fusion protein. This method can make the fusion protein suitable for the continuous works, especially for situations where high protein concentration and long-term stability without precipitate and degradation of protein are required.展开更多

The connection between the simplified model and the target aster-oid is built by considering...This paper investigates a simplified model for describing the gravitational fields of non- axisymmetric elongated asteroids. The connection between the simplified model and the target aster-oid is built by considering the positions of equilibrium points. To improve the performance of po-sition matching for the equilibrium points associated with these non-axisymmetric asteroids, a non-axisymmetric triple-particle-linkage model is proposed based on two existing axisymmetric particle- linkage models. The unknown parameters of the simplified model are determined by minimizing the matching error using the nonlinear optimization method. The proposed simplified model is applied for three realistic elongated asteroids, 243 Ida, 433 Eros and (8567) 1996 HW1. The simulation re-sults verify that the current particle-linkage model has better matching accuracy than the two existing particle-linkage models. The comparison, between the simplified model and the polyhedral model, on the topological cases of the equilibrium points and the distribution of gravitational potential further validate the rationality and accuracy of the simplified model.展开更多
We report results of our optical photometric observations of ten gamma-ray loud blazers, namely: 0219+428 (3C66A), PKS 0420-014 (OA 129), S5 0716+714, 0754+100 (OI 090.4), 0827+243 (OJ248), 1652+398 (Mrk 501), 2200+42...We report results of our optical photometric observations of ten gamma-ray loud blazers, namely: 0219+428 (3C66A), PKS 0420-014 (OA 129), S5 0716+714, 0754+100 (OI 090.4), 0827+243 (OJ248), 1652+398 (Mrk 501), 2200+420 (BL Lacertae), 2230+114 (CTA 102), 2251+158 (3C 454.3) and 2344+514. The observations were carried out in September-October, 2000 using the 70 cm optical telescope at Abstumani Observatory, Georgia. We found intra-day variations in 0420-014, S5 0716+714, BL Lacertae and CTA 102. A variation of 0.3 magnitude over a time scale of about 3 hours was observed in the R passband in BL Lacertae on JD 2451827. We did not detect any variation in 3C 66A, Mrk 501, or 3C 454.3 during our observations. Nor did we detect any clear evidence of variation in 1ES 2344+514 during our two weeks' observing run of the TeV gamma-ray source.展开更多
Severe bleeding is a common problem and a main cause of death in a medical setting,including surgery,trauma,congenital and acquired abnormalities of hemostasis,fulminant hepatic failure,and gastrointestinal bleeding.I...Severe bleeding is a common problem and a main cause of death in a medical setting,including surgery,trauma,congenital and acquired abnormalities of hemostasis,fulminant hepatic failure,and gastrointestinal bleeding.It has been estimated that rxcessive blood loss may contribute to approximately 30% of trauma-related deaths.Bleeding in critical locations,especially intracerebral hemorrhage,pose also a major clinical challenge.Severe bleeding often needs blood transfusion.In many patients with abnormalities of hemostasis,bleeding can be effectively corrected by replacing the defective components of the hemostatic system,of which the most widely used are factor Ⅷ concentrations and recombinant factor Ⅷ products for hemophilia A treatment,prothrombin complex concentrates and recombinant factor Ⅸ for hemophilia B treatment,and fibrinogen or cryoprecipitate for afibrinogenemia.On the other hand,all the cases of excessive bleeding require pharmacologic strategies of hemostatic agents to minimize blood loss.展开更多
