Common Fixed Point Theorems of Single-valued and Set-valued Mappings in Complete,Convex Metric Spaces

Under the conditions of compatility or sub -c ompatility between a sigle-valued mapping and set-valued mapping, this paper d iscusses the existence of common fixed points for two set-valued mappings and a single-valued mapping in complete, convex matric spaces. We extend and develop the main results.

FIXED POINT THEOREMS FOR MAPPINGS SATISFYING IMPLICIT RELATION ON TWO COMPLETE AND COMPACT METRIC SPACES

First, the implicit relations were given. A common fixed point theorem was proved for two mappings satisfying implicit relation functions. A further fixed point theorem was proved for mappings satisfying implicit relation functions on two compact metric spaces.

FIXED POINTS ON TWO COMPLETE AND COMPACT METRIC SPACES

By using functions, some related fixed point theorems on two metric spaces are established. These results generalize some theorems of Fisher.

The Completeness of Cone Metric Spaces

Some topological properties of cone metric spaces are discussed and proved that every cone metric space(X; d) is complete if and only if every family of closed subsets of X which has the nite intersection property and which for every c ∈ E; 0 《 c contains a set of diameter less that c has non-empty intersection.

CONVERGENCE OF ISHIKAWA TYPE ITERATIVE SEQUENCE WITH ERRORS FOR QUASI-CONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS IN CONVEX METRIC SPACES

Some convergence theorems of Ishikawa type iterative sequence with errors for nonlinear general quasi-contractive mapping in convex metric spaces are proved. The results not only extend and improve the corresponding results of L. B. Ciric, Q. H. Liu, H. E. Rhoades and H. K. Xu, et al., but also give an affirmative answer to the open question of Rhoades-Naimpally- Singh in convex metric spaces.

A Family of Non-Self Maps Satisfying <i>Φ</i>_i-Contractive Condition and Having Unique Common Fixed Point in Metrically Convex Spaces

Class of 5-dimensional functions Φ was introduced and a convergent sequence determined by non-self mappings satisfying certain Φi-contractive condition was constructed, and then that the limit of the sequence is the unique com-mon fixed point of the mappings was proved. Finally, several more general forms were given. Our main results gener-alize and unify many same type fixed point theorems in references.

FIXED POINT THEOREMS AND BEST APPROXIMATION IN CONVEX METRIC SPACES

Results regarding best approximation and best Simultaneous approximation on convex metric spaces are Obtained.Existence of fixed points for an ultimately nonexpansive semigroup of mappings is also shown.

Unique Common Fixed Point for a Family of Mappings with a Nonlinear Quasi-Contractive Type Condition in Metrically Convex Spaces

A class Ф of 5-dimensional functions was introduced and an existence and uniqueness of common fixed points for a family of non-self mappings satisfying a Фi- quasi-contractive condition and a certain boundary condition was given on complete metrically convex metric spaces, and from which, more general unique common fixed point theorems were obtained. Our main results generalize and improve many same type common fixed point theorems in references.

Common Fixed Points for a Countable Family of Set-Valued Mappings with Quasi-Contractive Conditions on Metrically Convex Spaces

In this paper, we consider a countable family of set-valued mappings satisfying some quasi-contractive conditions. We also construct a sequence by the quasi-contractive conditions of mappings and the boundary condition of a closed subset of a metrically convex space, and then prove that the unique limit of the sequence is the unique common fixed point of the mappings. Finally, we give more generalized common fixed point theorems for a countable family of single-valued mappings. The main results generalize and improve many common fixed point theorems for a finite or countable family of single valued or set-valued mappings with quasi-contractive conditions.

SOME RESULTS ON BEST APPROXIMATION IN SPACES WITH CONVEX STRUCTURE

Some generalizations of the result proved by S.P. Singh [J. Approx. Theory 25（1979）, 89-90] are presented in convex metric spaces. The results proved contain several known results on the subject.

Common Fixed Points for a Countable Family of Quasi-Contractive Mappings on a Cone Metric Space with the Convex Structure

In this paper, we consider a countable family of surjective mappings {Tn}n∈N satisfying certain quasi-contractive conditions. We also construct a convergent sequence { Xn } n c∈Nby the quasi-contractive conditions of { Tn } n ∈N and the boundary condition of a given complete and closed subset of a cone metric space X with convex structure, and then prove that the unique limit x＂ of {xn}n∈N is the unique common fixed point of {Tn}n∈N. Finally, we will give more generalized common fixed point theorem for mappings {Ti,j}i,j∈N. The main theorems in this paper generalize and improve many known common fixed point theorems for a finite or countable family of mappings with quasi-contractive conditions.

Fixed Points and Common Fixed Points of Quasi-Contractive Mappings on Partially Ordered-Cone Metric Spaces

In this paper, we use the mappings with quasi-contractive conditions, defined on a partially ordered set with cone metric structure, to construct convergent sequences and prove that the limits of the constructed sequences are the unique (common) fixed point of the mappings, and give their corollaries. The obtained results improve and generalize the corresponding conclusions in references.

A GLKKM Type Theorem for Noncompact Complete L-Convex Metric Spaces with Applications to Variational Inequalities and Fixed Points
