Longitudinal vibration characteristics of a tapered pipe pile considering the vertical support of surrounding soil and construction disturbance

This research is concentrated on the longitudinal vibration of a tapered pipe pile considering the vertical support of the surrounding soil and construction disturbance.First,the pile-soil system is partitioned into finite segments in the vertical direction and the Voigt model is applied to simulate the vertical support of the surrounding soil acting on the pile segment.The surrounding soil is divided into finite ring-shaped zones in the radial direction to consider the construction disturbance.Then,the shear complex stiffness at the pile-soil interface is derived by solving the dynamic equilibrium equation for the soil from the outermost to innermost zone.The displacement impedance at the top of an arbitrary pile segment is obtained by solving the dynamic equilibrium equation for the pile and is combined with the vertical support of the surrounding soil to derive the displacement impedance at the bottom of the upper adjacent segment.Further,the displacement impedance at the pile head is obtained based on the impedance function transfer technique.Finally,the reliability of the proposed solution is verified,followed by a sensitivity analysis concerning the coupling effect of the pile parameters,construction disturbance and the vertical support of the surrounding soil on the displacement impedance of the pile. 展开更多

Despite the continuous advancements of engineering construction in high-intensity areas,many engineering landslides are still manufactured with huge thrust force,and double-row piles are effective to control such large landslides.In this study,large shaking table test were performed to test and obtain multi-attribute seismic data such as feature image,acceleration,and dynamic soil pressure.Through the feature image processing analysis,the deformation characteristics for the slope reinforced by double-row piles were revealed.By analyzing the acceleration and the dynamic soil pressure time domain,the spatial dynamic response characteristics were revealed.Using Fast Fourier Transform and half-power bandwidth,the damping ratio of acceleration and dynamic soil pressure was obtained.Following that,the Seism Signal was used to calculate the spectral displacement of the accelerations to obtain the regional differences of spectral displacement.The results showed that the overall deformation mechanism of the slope originates from tension failure in the soil mass.The platform at the back of the slope was caused by seismic subsidence,and the peak acceleration ratio was positively correlated with the relative pile heights.The dynamic soil pressure of the front row piles showed an inverted"K"-shaped distribution,but that of the back row piles showed an"S"-shaped distribution.The predominant frequency of acceleration was 2.16 Hz,and the main frequency band was 0.7-6.87 Hz;for dynamic soil pressure,the two parameters became 1.15 Hz and 0.5-6.59 Hz,respectively.In conclusion,dynamic soil pressure was more sensitive to dampening effects than acceleration.Besides,compared to acceleration,dynamic soil pressure exhibited larger loss factors and lower resonance peaks.Finally,back row pile heads were highly sensitive to spectral displacement compared to front row pile heads.These findings may be of reference value for future seismic designs of double-row piles. 展开更多

The incident angle of plane wave is taken as g = 90° , there then is the transmission coefficient |T| = 1 (This is a paradox). In this paper, by means of the approximate relation between the transmitted and incident wave angle found from the shape of a slit, the paradoxical phenomenon is removed. On the basis of the continuality of the pressure and flux and the analysis of flow resistance at the row of rectangular piles, formulas of reflection and transmission coefficients are obtained. The transmission and reflection coefficients predicted by the present model quite agree with those of laboratory experiments in previous references 展开更多

For the co evolution algorithm providing an evolutionary mechanism to simulate ever changing problem space, it is an optimization algorithm that has high performance, especially applying to the optimization of complicated system of retaining and protecting for deep foundation pit. It is shown by many engineering practices that the co evolution algorithm has obvious optimization effect, so it can be an important method of optimization of retaining and protecting for deep foundation pit. Here the authors discuss the co evolution model, object function, all kinds of constraint conditions and their disposal methods, and several key techniques of system realization. 展开更多

The head-on collision process between ship and concrete pile supported protective system is simulated by software LS-DYNA. The influences of pile non-linearity and soil non-linearity on impact force, ship crush depth and the cap displacement of pile supported protective system are discussed. It's shown that for both severe impact case and non-severe impact case, the non-linearity of pile material influence the impact force history, ship crush depth. The non-linearity of pile material and soil has remarkable influence on the cap displacement especially for severe impact case. These issues should not be ignored in the analysis of pile supported protective system subjected to ship impact. 展开更多

The construction sequence of the pier is modeled. The pile-soil interface element is used. The influence of the combination type of piles on the deformation of bank slope and pile behaviour is analyzed. Different designs of a pile-supported pier are compared thoroughly. Calculation results show that the stresses and displacements of the pile are directly related to the distance from the bank slope and the direction of inclination. An inclined prop pile set in the rear platform would remarkably reduce the stresses of piles and the displacement of the pier. 展开更多

Numerical analysis of pile lateral behavior of pile supported embankment

By simulating the case history... A finite difference numerical method was adopted to evaluate the pile lateral behavior of pile supported embankment. A published case history was used to verify the proposed methodology. By simulating the case history, the determination of parameters needed were verified. Then three embankments constructed on different ground conditions with different soil-pile relative stiffnesses were analyzed to study pile lateral behaviors including pile deflection and bending moment. The results show that pile deflections and bending moments induced by soil lateral deformation and embankment vertical load are different for piles at different positions under the same embankment. The relative stiffness between pile and soil affected by the properties of different reinforcing piles such as concrete pile and deep mixing method pile exert important effects on the pile lateral behavior and the pile's failure modes. Consequently, it is necessary to consider the different piles lateral behaviors and possible failure modes at different positions and the different piles proprieties with different reinforcing methods in the embankment stability analysis. 展开更多

为深入研究深厚杂填土地层深基坑微型桩-锚-撑组合支护结构随基坑开挖的受力与变形演化规律,首先,依托青岛市某深基坑工程开展双排微型桩-锚-撑原位试验,分析开挖工况下前、后排桩的桩身弯矩分布规律;然后,结合ABAQUS有限元模拟方法,明... 为深入研究深厚杂填土地层深基坑微型桩-锚-撑组合支护结构随基坑开挖的受力与变形演化规律,首先,依托青岛市某深基坑工程开展双排微型桩-锚-撑原位试验,分析开挖工况下前、后排桩的桩身弯矩分布规律;然后,结合ABAQUS有限元模拟方法,明确微型桩、预应力锚索与钢支撑之间的协同作用及基坑变形规律;最后,揭示微型桩桩径变化、支护结构作用对桩身受力及基坑变形的影响机制。研究结果表明:增加开挖深度引起桩身正弯矩和负弯矩不断增大,极值点位置不断下移,桩身弯矩整体呈正“S”形分布;开挖至基底,前排桩的桩身反弯点分别位于钢支撑下方0.5 m和开挖面位置,后排桩的桩身反弯点分别位于钢支撑下方0.5 m和开挖面下方1.0 m范围内;基坑开挖竖向影响范围约为1.35H(H为基坑开挖深度),桩径增加近1倍,土体水平位移仅减少约51%,且随桩径继续增加,其对于限制基坑变形效果不显著;相较于桩锚支护结构,桩-锚-撑支护结构作用下,前、后排桩的最大水平位移分别减小34.9%和27.3%,基坑土体的最大水平位移减小46.0%。 展开更多

针对现有设计规范进行桩后主动土压力计算时未考虑车辆载荷的动力效应对支护结构影响的问题,在平面滑裂面假定的基础上,结合拟动力学分析方法,考虑车辆动载荷作用下桩后土体受惯性力的影响,推导出车辆载荷作用下主动土压力的计算式,将... 针对现有设计规范进行桩后主动土压力计算时未考虑车辆载荷的动力效应对支护结构影响的问题,在平面滑裂面假定的基础上,结合拟动力学分析方法,考虑车辆动载荷作用下桩后土体受惯性力的影响,推导出车辆载荷作用下主动土压力的计算式,将主动土压力分为动土压力分量和静土压力分量。分析土体容重、桩-土外摩擦角对主动土压力的影响,以及水平振动加速度系数、内摩擦角、行车速度、车桩间距对动土压力的影响,对比分析不同黏聚力情况下的主动土压力分布规律。研究结果表明:桩后动土压力呈非线性分布;在车辆载荷作用下,一个振动周期内桩后主动土压力随滑动面倾角的增大和时间的持续先增大后减小;动土压力幅值随车桩间距的增大而减小,振动周期随车速的增大而增大。 展开更多

[目的]周边环境及地质条件复杂的地铁基坑施工稍有不慎易导致基坑事故的发生。需分析基坑围护桩大变形原因,并提出针对性加固措施。[方法]以成都某近接老旧建筑物的桩锚支护结构地铁车站基坑为工程背景,分析了基坑施工过程中围护桩体发生大变形的原因,提出控制围护桩变形的加固措施。通过Harding-soil二阶高级本构模型研究了围护桩发生变形后,坑内采用反压堆载、基坑坑外坡体采用钢管桩及再次开挖前加强两道锚索措施的可行性。[结果及结论]模拟计算结果及现场实测结果表明,围护桩累计位移为77.77 mm;围护桩产生大变形后采用加固措施,可将围护桩水平位移控制在53 mm以内;根据模拟计算结果及现场实测结果,二者桩体水平位移曲线变化规律一致。实际施工结果表明,采取加固措施后,基坑变形控制效果明显,后续施工过程中未发生大范围变形。 展开更多

为研究有连梁双排抗滑桩快速有效的内力计算模型,在对有连梁双排桩进行受力分析的基础上,将有连梁双排抗滑桩结构简化为在桩顶连系梁零弯矩处断开的2根单桩结构,通过对双排桩受力进行叠加得到前后排桩桩顶连梁传递的弯矩与剪力,基于有... 为研究有连梁双排抗滑桩快速有效的内力计算模型,在对有连梁双排桩进行受力分析的基础上,将有连梁双排抗滑桩结构简化为在桩顶连系梁零弯矩处断开的2根单桩结构,通过对双排桩受力进行叠加得到前后排桩桩顶连梁传递的弯矩与剪力,基于有限差分法建立了有连梁双排抗滑桩受荷段、嵌固段全桩内力计算模型,进而对有连梁双排抗滑桩桩体内力进行了计算。同时,通过大型室内模型试验内力实测结果对所计算结果进行了对比验证。结果表明:(1)模型试验结果与所建计算模型得到的桩顶位移与桩身弯矩值吻合较好,说明简化计算模型具有一定的适用性;(2)二者的后排桩最大弯矩出现位置略有偏差,计算得到的最大弯矩位置更接近实际桩体破坏位置,进一步验证了全桩内力计算模型的可靠性;(3)所建有限差分计算模型避免了将受荷段与嵌固段利用连续条件进行迭代的复杂运算过程,大大提升了计算效率,为实际工程提供了一种快速高效的有连梁双排桩内力计算方法。 展开更多

排桩倾斜对双排桩支护结构性状影响分析

为解决桩锚支护基坑的越冬问题,对该类基坑负温状态下的抗冻胀性能进行研究。可为实际工程中越冬基坑的桩锚支护设计提供参考依据。考虑锚杆的预应力、层数、间距及锚固长度等因素,运用FLCA^(3D)软件在负温状态下对桩锚支护基坑进行数... 为解决桩锚支护基坑的越冬问题,对该类基坑负温状态下的抗冻胀性能进行研究。可为实际工程中越冬基坑的桩锚支护设计提供参考依据。考虑锚杆的预应力、层数、间距及锚固长度等因素,运用FLCA^(3D)软件在负温状态下对桩锚支护基坑进行数值模拟研究,分析桩侧冻胀力及桩体位移的变化规律。结果表明锚杆预应力对基坑桩体水平位移影响非常显著,随基坑深度增加,桩侧冻胀力呈增-减-增趋势;随锚杆层数增加,桩体水平位移逐渐减小,而桩侧冻胀力逐渐增大;锚杆竖向间距对桩体的水平位移及桩侧冻胀力的影响较小,桩体水平位移越小,桩侧冻胀力越大;桩体水平位移及桩侧冻胀力随锚固长度增加而增大。研究结果可为桩锚支护越冬基坑的设计和应用提供指导和参考。 展开更多
