This work develops 2-Phenyl-1H-imidazole-1-sulfonate(PHIS)as a multi-functional electrolyte additive for H2O/HF scavenging and film formation to improve the high temperature performance of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)/graphite batteries.After 450 cycles at room temperature(25℃),the discharge capacity retentions of batteries with blank and PHIS-containing electrolyte are 56.03%and 94.92%respectively.After 230 cycles at high temperatures(45℃),their values are 75.30%and 88.38%respectively.The enhanced electrochemical performance of the batteries with PHIS-containing electrolyte is supported by the spectroscopic characterization and theoretical calculations.It is demonstrated that this PHIS electrolyte additive can facilitate the construction of the electrode interface films,remove the H2O/HF in the electrolyte,and improve the electrochemical performance of the batteries.This work not only develops a sulfonate-based electrolyte but also can stimulate new ideas of functional additives to improve the battery performance. 展开更多

One new polymer [Co(L)(H2O)2]n(1) was synthesized by 4-(ethoxycarbonyl)-5-methyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole-1-carboxylic acid(Emtc) under the in situ solvent thermal reaction(H2L = 1-(carboxymethyl)-5-methyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylic acid). The title complex performs a wave-like 2D framework and the ligand H2L demonstrates the coordination mode as μ4-η-2:η-1η-1:η-1. The crystal structure has been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and characterized by FT-IR. Fluorescent property was investigated in this work. Hirshfeld surface analysis has also been carried out on 1, and obvious main intermolecular interactions are observed. 展开更多

In order to find leading compounds with an excellent fungicidal activity, the title compound 2-( 1,3-dithiolan-2- yl-idene)-1-phenyl-2-( 1,2,4-tfiazol-1-yl) ethanone was synthesized according to the biological isosterism and its structure was confirmed by means of IR, MS, ^1 H NMR and elemental analysis. The single crystal structure of the title compound was determined by X-ray diffraction. The preliminary biological test shows that the synthesized compound exhibits some biological activities. 展开更多

BACKGROUND: To date, a complete protein expression profile of the midbrain substantia nigra in a mouse model of chronic Parkinson's disease, induced by 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1, 2, 3, 6-tetrahydropyridine (MPTP), does not exist. In addition, there are no reports of analysis of differential protein expression. OBJECTIVE: To separate and evaluate MPTP-induced differential protein expression through the use of proteomics in the substantia nigra of a mouse model of chronic Parkinson's disease. DESIGN: Randomized controlled animal study. SETTING: Department of Neurology, the First Affiliated Hospital, Chongqing Medical University. MATERIALS: Sixteen 8-10-week old, healthy, male, C57BL mice, weighing 20-25 g, and of clean grade, were provided by the Experimental Animal Center of Chongqing Medical University. The experimental animals were disposed according to ethical criteria. MPTP was provided by Sigma Company, USA; Pdquest 2D image analysis software and gelatum/irradiance image analysis system (ChemiDoc XRS) by Bio-Rad, USA; and Voyager DE-PROMALD1-TOF-MS mass spectroscopy analyzer by AB1 Company, USA. METHODS: This study was performed in Chongqing Neurological Laboratory between November 2006 and July 2007. Mice were randomly divided into model and control groups, with 8 mice in each group. Mice in the model group were received a subcutaneous injection of MPTP (25 mg&g), twice a week, for five successive weeks, to establish a chronic Parkinson's disease model. Mice in the control group received the same volume of a subcutaneous saline injection at the same time points. Mice were sacrificed by anesthesia to rapidly obtain the midbrain for protein separation of the substantia nigra. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: (1) 2-ED handbook (Bio-Rad Company) was referenced for two-dimensional electrophoresis, (2) PDQUEST8,0 analytical electrophoresis pattern was adopted to evaluate differential protein expression. (3) Peptide mass finger print map and data were retrieved on http://www.prospector.ucsf.edu to compare differential substantia nigral protein expression in the two groups. RESULTS: Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis of substantia nigra tissue indicated that there were 33 differential protein expressions between the two groups. Three new proteins were evaluated, including α -enolase, which exhibited regulated expression, tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 4, and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1B. CONCLUSION: There are three proteins that exhibit differential expression in the substantia nigra- α -enolase, tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 4, and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1B. 展开更多

Reaction of 2 with CS2/KOH gave the oxadiazole derivatives (3) which via, Mannich reaction with different di... 2-Phenyl-1, 2, 3-triazole-4-formylhydrazine (2) was prepared by hydrazinolysis of the corresponding ester 1. Reaction of 2 with CS2/KOH gave the oxadiazole derivatives (3) which via, Mannich reaction with different dialkyl amines furnished 3-N, N-dialkyl derivatives (4a-c). Also, condensation of 2 with appropriate aromatic acid in POCl3 yielded oxadiazole derivatives (5a-c), or with aldehydes and ketones afforded hydrazones (6a-c). Cyclization of (6a-c) with acetic anhydride gave the desired dihydroxadiazole derivatives (7a-c). On the other hand, reaction of dithiocarbazate (8) with hydrazine hydrate gave the corresponding triazole derivative (9) which on treatment with carboxylic acids in refluxing POCl3 yielded s-triazole[3,4-b]-1, 3, 4-thiadiazole derivatives (10a-b). The structures of all the above compounds were confirmed by means of IR, 1H NMR, MS and elemental analysis. 展开更多

BACKGROUND As a novel endogenous anti-angiogenic molecule, vasohibin 1(VASH1) is not only expressed in tumor stroma, but also in tumor tissue. Moreover, studies have shown that VASH1 may be a prognostic marker in colorectal cancer(CRC). Knockdown of VASH1 enhanced transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)/Smad3 pathway activity and type Ⅰ/Ⅲ collagen production. Our previous findings suggest that ELL-associated factor 2(EAF2) may play a tumor suppressor and protective role in the development and progression of CRC by regulating signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)/TGF-β1 signaling pathway. However, the functional role and mechanism of VASH1-mediated TGF-β1 related pathway in CRC has not been elucidated.AIM To investigate the expression of VASH1 in CRC and its correlation with the expression of EAF2. Furthermore, we studied the functional role and mechanism of VASH1 involved in the regulation and protection of EAF2 in CRC cells in vitro.METHODS We collected colorectal adenocarcinoma and corresponding adjacent tissues to investigate the clinical expression of EAF2 protein and VASH1 protein in patients with advanced CRC. Following, we investigated the effect and mechanism of EAF2 and VASH1 on the invasion, migration and angiogenesis of CRC cells in vitro using plasmid transfection.RESULTS Our findings indicated that EAF2 was down-regulated and VASH1 was upregulated in advanced CRC tissue compared to normal colorectal tissue. KaplanMeier survival analysis showed that the higher EAF2 Level group and the lower VASH1 Level group had a higher survival rate. Overexpression of EAF2 might inhibit the activity of STAT3/TGF-β1 pathway by up-regulating the expression of VASH1, and then weaken the invasion, migration and angiogenesis of CRC cells.CONCLUSION This study suggests that EAF2 and VASH1 may serve as new diagnostic and prognostic markers for CRC, and provide a clinical basis for exploring new biomarkers for CRC. This study complements the mechanism of EAF2 in CRC cells, enriches the role and mechanism of CRC cellderived VASH1, and provides a new possible subtype of CRC as a therapeutic target of STAT3/TGF-β1 pathway. 展开更多

Following MPTP intoxication, 2-DG uptake was increased in the substantia nigra and lo(?)us ceruleus. At the same time, obvious abnormal behavior of the animals was induced. In the mice pretreated with deprenyl, 2-DG uptake was similar to that of control animal. Ab normal behavior. though present, was significantly milder than in mice given MPTP alone. It is concluded that MPTP interferes with the glucose metabolism in the substantia nigra and locus ceruleus and induces remarkable abnormal behavioral syndrome of mice. In addition to an isocyanurate compound and an oxazolidone compound which were well known as reaction products of cyanate esters and epoxy resins, compounds with hybrid ring structure of cyanurate/isocyanurate were determined. Gibbs free energies of the compound having hybrid ring structure of cyanurate/isocyanurate with two isocyanurate moiety were found to be lower than that of the compound with cyanurate ring structure through calculations. Calculation data supported the existence of hybrid ring structure of cy-anurate/isocyanurate. It was revealed that isomerization from cyanurate to isocyanurate occurs via hybrid ring structure of cyanurate/isocyanurate in the reaction of aryl cyanurate and epoxy. 展开更多

An efficient,economical,and phosgene-free approach was developed for the preparation of l,4-dihydro-2H-3,l-benzoxazin-2-one from 2-aminobenzyl alcohol.In terms of its key features,this reaction uses the cheap and recyclable non-metal selenium as a catalyst instead of the noble metal palladium;carbon monoxide as a carbonylation agent instead of virulent phosgene or one of its derivatives;and oxygen as an oxidant.The selenium-catalyzed oxidative carbonylation reaction of2-aminobenzyl alcohol proceeded efficiently in a single pot in the presence of triethylamine to afford l,4-dihydro-2H-3,l-benzoxazin-2-one in 87%yield.Furthermore,the selenium catalyst was readily recovered and recycled,affording a product yield of 80%after five cycles. 展开更多

A new quinazolinone compound 2,3-dihydro-2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-phenyl- quinazolin-4(1H)-one 3 ([C20H16O2N2]?C2H5OH, Mr = 362.42) and compound 2-(2-hydroxy- benzylidene-amino)-N-phenyl-benzamide 2 (C20H16O2N2, Mr = 316.34) were prepared from a precursor of 2-amino-N-phenyl-benzamide 1 (C13H12ON2, Mr = 212.25). Compound 3 was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal belongs to orthorhombic, space group Pbca with a = 1.2889(11), b = 1.6170(14), c = 1.7729(15) nm, V = 3.695(6) nm3, Z = 8, F(000) = 1536, Mr = 362.42, Dc = 1.303 g/cm3, μ(MoKα) = 0.087 mm-1, R = 0.0447 and wR = 0.0879. The crystal structure analysis indicates that the title compound has a two-dimensional network structure formed by hydrogen bonds and electrostatic interactions. 展开更多

目的:探讨普罗布考对大鼠脑缺血再灌注(I/R)的影响及其可能机制。方法:线栓法建立大鼠大脑中动脉栓塞(MCAO)模型,用1.5、3 mg/kg普罗布考进行干预,将200只大鼠分为假手术组、I/R组、溶剂组、小剂量组(1.5 mg/kg)及大剂量组(3mg/kg)。术... 目的:探讨普罗布考对大鼠脑缺血再灌注(I/R)的影响及其可能机制。方法:线栓法建立大鼠大脑中动脉栓塞(MCAO)模型,用1.5、3 mg/kg普罗布考进行干预,将200只大鼠分为假手术组、I/R组、溶剂组、小剂量组(1.5 mg/kg)及大剂量组(3mg/kg)。术后15 min腹腔注射药物,于1、3、5 d和7 d取材。观察普罗布考对脑缺血再灌注炎性损伤急性期及恢复早期神经功能评分、梗死灶体积、脑组织水含量的影响,并用ELISA检测脑组织匀浆环氧酶(COX-2)和5脂氧酶(5-LOX)活性变化,免疫印迹检测各组TGF-β1和p-Smad2/3蛋白表达量的变化。结果:与假手术组比较,MCAO术后小鼠出现严重的神经功能障碍、脑水肿和脑梗死,COX-2和5-LOX蛋白表达显著升高,而TGF-β1和p-Smad2/3蛋白表达明显降低;与手术组比较,经普罗布考干预后,小鼠神经功能评分、脑水肿和脑梗死情况明显改善,COX-2和5-LOX蛋白表达明显降低,而TGF-β1和p-Smad2/3蛋白表达明显升高,且大剂量组优于小剂量组。结论:普罗布考能缓解大鼠脑缺血再灌注炎性损伤,其机制可能与激活TGF-β1/Smad2/3信号通路,抑制脑内COX-2与5-LOX的活性有关。 展开更多

AIM: To assess the impact of eukaryotic elongation factor 1 alpha 2 (eEF1A2) on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell proliferation, apoptosis, migration and invasion, and determine the underlying mechanisms.METHODS: eEF1A2 levels were detected in 62 HCC tissue samples and paired pericarcinomatous specimens, and the human HCC cell lines SK-HEP-1, HepG2 and BEF-7402, by real-time PCR and immunohistochemistry. Experimental groups included eEF1A2 silencing in BEL-7402 cells with lentivirus eEF1A2-shRNA (KD group) and eEF1A2 overexpression in SK-HEP-1 cells with eEF1A2 plasmid (OE group). Non-transfected cells (control group) and lentivirus-based empty vector transfected cells (NC group) were considered control groups. Cell proliferation (MTT and colony formation assays), apoptosis (Annexin V-APC assay), cell cycle (DNA ploidy assay), and migration and invasion (Transwell assays) were assessed. Protein levels of PI3K/Akt/NF-&#x003ba;B signaling effectors were evaluated by Western blot.RESULTS: eEF1A2 mRNA and protein levels were significantly higher in HCC cancer tissue samples than in paired pericarcinomatous and normal specimens. SK-HEP-1 cells showed lower eEF1A2 mRNA levels; HepG2 and BEL-7402 cells showed higher eEF1A2 mRNA levels, with BEL-7402 cells displaying the highest amount. Efficient eEF1A2 silencing resulted in reduced cell proliferation, migration and invasion, increased apoptosis, and induced cell cycle arrest. The PI3K/Akt/NF-&#x003ba;B signaling pathway was notably inhibited. Inversely, eEF1A2 overexpression resulted in promoted cell proliferation, migration and invasion.CONCLUSION: eEF1A2, highly expressed in HCC, is a potential oncogene. Its silencing significantly decreases HCC tumorigenesis, likely by inhibiting PI3K/Akt/NF-&#x003ba;B signaling. 展开更多
