Their crystal structure was determined by the X-ray powder diffraction and CELL program. The prepared Ca 2.6Nd 0.4Co 4O 9 compound has the monoclinic symmetry. The electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient were measured from room temperature to 700 ℃ in air. Both the properties increase while rising temperature. The thermoelectric power of Ca 2.6Nd 0.4Co 4O 9 is about 242 4 μV·K -1. The results imply a promising way to enhance the thermoelectric properties of the layered cobaltite oxides by optimizing their composition and microstructure.展开更多
