3-Dimensional Kinematic Comparison of Arm Movements between an Individual with NGLY1 Deficiency and a Neurotypical Individual

NGLY1 Deficiency is an ultra-rare autosomal recessively inherited disorder. NGLY1 Deficiency is an ultra-rare autosomal recessively inherited disorder. Characteristic symptoms include among others, developmental delays, movement disorders, liver function abnormalities, seizures, and problems with tear formation. Movements are hyperkinetic and may include dysmetric, choreo-athetoid, myoclonic and dystonic movement elements. To date, there have been no quantitative reports describing arm movements of individuals with NGLY1 Deficiency. This report provides quantitative information about a series of arm movements performed by an individual with NGLY1 Deficiency and an aged-matched neurotypical participant. Three categories of arm movements were tested: 1) open ended reaches without specific end point targets;2) goal-directed reaches that included grasping an object;3) picking up small objects from a table placed in front of the participants. Arm movement kinematics were obtained with a camera-based motion analysis system and “initiation” and “maintenance” phases were identified for each movement. The combination of the two phases was labeled as a “complete” movement. Three-dimensional analysis techniques were used to quantify the movements and included hand trajectory pathlength, joint motion area, as well as hand trajectory and joint jerk cost. These techniques were required to fully characterize the movements because the NGLY1 individual was unable to perform movements only in the primary plane of progression instead producing motion across all three planes of movement. The individual with NGLY1 Deficiency was unable to pick up objects from a table or effectively complete movements requiring crossing the midline. The successfully completed movements were analyzed using the above techniques and the results of the two participants were compared statistically. Almost all comparisons revealed significant differences between the two participants, with a notable exception of the 3D initiation area as a percentage of the complete movement. The statistical tests of these measures revealed no significant differences between the two participants, possibly suggesting a common underlying motor control strategy. The 3D techniques used in this report effectively characterized arm movements of an individual with NGLY1 deficiency and can be used to provide information to evaluate the effectiveness of genetic, pharmacological, or physical rehabilitation therapies. 展开更多

目的:探究3D打印技术在经鼻蝶窦入路垂体腺瘤(PA)切除术的应用效果及对血清基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)和胰岛素样生长因子-1(IGF-1)水平的影响。方法:选取2020年5月至2022年5月秦皇岛市第一医院收治的84例PA患者,按照随机数表法将其分为... 目的:探究3D打印技术在经鼻蝶窦入路垂体腺瘤(PA)切除术的应用效果及对血清基质金属蛋白酶-9(MMP-9)和胰岛素样生长因子-1(IGF-1)水平的影响。方法:选取2020年5月至2022年5月秦皇岛市第一医院收治的84例PA患者,按照随机数表法将其分为观察组和对照组,每组42例。对照组行经鼻蝶窦入路垂体腺瘤切除术,观察组行经鼻蝶窦入路垂体腺瘤切除术联合应用3D打印技术,比较两组肿瘤切除效果、围术期指标、视力改善情况、MMP-9和IGF-1水平,以及鼻腔功能的鼻气道阻力(NAR)、T&T嗅觉测试评分及并发症。结果:观察组肿瘤切除效果优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(U=2.286,P<0.05);观察组手术时间、术中出血量及住院时间均少于对照组,差异有统计学意义(t=4.780、11.438、11.842,P<0.05);术后3 d、7 d时观察组血清MMP-9和IGF-1水平低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(F=7.526、4.985,P<0.05);术后1个月、3个月时观察组NAR及T&T嗅觉测试评分低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(F=6.359、8.436,P<0.05);两组视力视野改善情况及并发症发生率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:3D打印技术用于经鼻蝶窦入路垂体腺瘤切除术可提高肿瘤切除效果,优化手术操作,减少创伤,有利于减轻疼痛,改善嗅觉功能与视力视野,并能降低血清MMP-9、IGF-1水平,且安全性较高。 展开更多

表面基团对Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)吸附NO性能影响的第一性原理研究

本工作基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理方法,构建了Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2)、Ti_(3)C_(2)O1.5(OH)0.5、Ti_(3)C_(2)O(OH)、Ti_(3)C_(2)O1.5F0.5和Ti_(3)C_(2)OF五种模型,从几何结构、电荷转移以及电子性质等方面研究了基团种类和比例对Ti_(3)C_(... 本工作基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理方法,构建了Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2)、Ti_(3)C_(2)O1.5(OH)0.5、Ti_(3)C_(2)O(OH)、Ti_(3)C_(2)O1.5F0.5和Ti_(3)C_(2)OF五种模型,从几何结构、电荷转移以及电子性质等方面研究了基团种类和比例对Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)吸附NO的影响。结果表明:相较于Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2),含低比例-OH和-F基团的Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)对NO的吸附能更大,电荷转移更弱,不利于其探测NO,与实验结果一致;但随着-OH和-F比例的提高,吸附能分别减小和增大,电荷转移分别增强和减弱,表明高比例的-OH有利于Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)探测NO,而高比例的-F是不利的;同时,在吸附NO后,Ti_(3)C_(2)O_(2)在费米能级附近的能带极值曲率变小,电子有效质量增大,表明-O基团有利于Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)探测NO。在几何弛豫过程中NO分子总是以N原子靠近衬底,吸附距离均较小,而且最近邻原子的电子轨道出现杂化,电子的聚集和消散位于两端,表明最近邻原子间成键较弱且偏离子性。此计算结果可以为Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)探测和屏蔽NO提供理论指导,同时为Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)的表面改性提供思路。 展开更多

以聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯微球为模板,采用溶胶-凝胶法和化学沉淀法制备三维多孔催化剂3DP LaFeO_(3)/CeO_(2)/SrTiO_(3)。通过X射线衍射仪、扫描电子显微镜、多站式全自动比表面与孔径分析仪、X射线光电子能谱仪和紫外可见分光光度计等仪器... 以聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯微球为模板,采用溶胶-凝胶法和化学沉淀法制备三维多孔催化剂3DP LaFeO_(3)/CeO_(2)/SrTiO_(3)。通过X射线衍射仪、扫描电子显微镜、多站式全自动比表面与孔径分析仪、X射线光电子能谱仪和紫外可见分光光度计等仪器对催化剂进行表征,并考察了该催化剂对亚甲基蓝的脱色效果,分析了pH、过氧化氢剂量和温度对脱色效果的影响。结果表明,3DP LaFeO_(3)/CeO_(2)/SrTiO_(3)复合材料被成功合成,呈现多孔结构,具有高的比表面积和光学特性。该催化剂在亚甲基蓝的脱色反应中表现出优异的催化性能,具有宽的pH使用范围,且能有效降低铁泥产量,大大降低二次污染。通过适当升高过氧化氢用量及反应液温度,可以提高催化剂的催化脱色性能,过氧化氢的最佳投加量为5 mL/L,反应液最佳温度为55℃。最后,提出了亚甲基蓝脱色的催化机理,在催化剂的光芬顿和光催化协同作用下,实现Fe^(3+)/Fe^(2+)和Ce^(4+)/Ce^(3+)持续循环和活性物种的产生。 展开更多

目的:探索四维超声联合血清环状RNA同源域相互作用激酶3(circHIPK3)、环状RNA0003416(circ0003416)诊断胎儿先天性心脏病(CHD)价值。方法:收集2021年11月-2023年11月本院接诊的胎儿均疑似CHD孕妇324例临床资料,以产后随访或引产病理解... 目的:探索四维超声联合血清环状RNA同源域相互作用激酶3(circHIPK3)、环状RNA0003416(circ0003416)诊断胎儿先天性心脏病(CHD)价值。方法:收集2021年11月-2023年11月本院接诊的胎儿均疑似CHD孕妇324例临床资料,以产后随访或引产病理解剖结果为金标准,分为CHD组(43例)、非CHD的对照组(281例)。收集两组一般资料,采用实时荧光定量PCR法检测血清circHIPK3、circ0003416水平;记录四维超声检测结果,Kappa行一致性检验;受试者工作特征(ROC)曲线分析四维超声联合血清circHIPK3、circ0003416对CHD的诊断价值。结果:CHD组血清circHIPK3(1.41±0.18)高于对照组(1.19±0.13),血清circ0003416(0.82±0.11)低于对照组(1.03±0.14)(均P<0.05);四维超声诊断CHD与最终确诊结果的一致性较好(Kappa=0.809,P<0.001);四维超声、血清circHIPK3、circ0003416诊断CHD的曲线下面积(AUC)均较高,但联合诊断AUC(0.976)及敏感度(97.7%)最高(P<0.001)。结论:CHD母体血清circHIPK3升高、血清circ0003416水平降低,四维超声联合血清circHIPK3、circ0003416水平对CHD的诊断价值较高,可为CHD临床筛查提供参考。 展开更多

目的分析3D腹腔镜肾盂成形联合超声引导下输尿管软镜碎石取石术(3DLP-UGFURL)治疗肾盂输尿管连接部梗阻(UPJO)合并肾结石的有效性与安全性。方法回顾性分析首都医科大学附属北京朝阳医院泌尿外科2017年12月-2022年7月行3DLP-UGFURL治疗... 目的分析3D腹腔镜肾盂成形联合超声引导下输尿管软镜碎石取石术(3DLP-UGFURL)治疗肾盂输尿管连接部梗阻(UPJO)合并肾结石的有效性与安全性。方法回顾性分析首都医科大学附属北京朝阳医院泌尿外科2017年12月-2022年7月行3DLP-UGFURL治疗的29例UPJO合并肾结石患者的临床资料。其中男性23例、女性6例。平均年龄(35.3±13.6)岁。左侧20例,右侧9例,均为单侧发病,其中合并马蹄肾1例。平均体质量指数23.6±3.9。肾盂或肾盏多发结石16例,其余均为单发结石。结石最大径平均(1.2±0.6)cm。轻度肾积水2例,中度肾积水19例,重度肾积水8例。结果29例手术均获得成功,其中3DLP手术时间平均为(84.2±15.4)min;UGFURL手术时间平均为(42.8±15.7)min;出血量平均为(36.9±13.6)mL。引流管留置时间平均为(3.6±1.6)d。尿管留置时间和术后平均住院时间为(6.8±1.2)d;术后1个月清石率平均为97.4%;输尿管支架管留置时间平均为2.7个月。随访时间平均为(24.5±10.0)个月。共出现45例次并发症,均为Clavien-Dindo 1级。结论3DLP-UGFURL可以安全有效地治疗UPJO合并肾结石,但仍需长期随访的临床资料对该术式进一步评估。 展开更多

A accelerated arithmetic algorithm of the dynamic computing regions was designed,and 3-dimensional numerical simulation of isothermal solidification for a binary alloy was implemented.The dendritic growth and the recalescence of Ni-Cu binary alloy during the solidification at different cooling rates were investigated.The effects of cooling rate on dendritic patterns and microsegregation patterns were studied.The computed results indicate that,with the increment of the cooling rate,the dendritic growth velocity increases,both the main branch and side-branches become slender,the secondary dendrite arm spacing becomes smaller,the inadequate solute diffusion in solid aggravates,and the severity of microsegregation ahead of interface aggravates.At a higher cooling rate,the binary alloy presents recalescence;while the cooling rate is small,no recalescence occurs. 展开更多

The main reason is that the cloverleaf junction is often in a complex and enormous construction. Its main body is bestraddle in air,and has aerial intersections between its parts. This complex feature made cloverleaf junction quite different from buildings and terrain, therefore, it is difficult to express this kind of spatial objects in the same way as for buildings and terrain. In this paper,authors analyze spatial characteristics of cloverleaf junction, propose an all-constraint points TIN algorithm to partition cloverleaf junction road surface, and develop a method to visualize cloverleaf junction road surface using TIN. In order to manage cloverleaf junction data efficiently, the authors also analyzed the mechanism of 3DCM data management, extended BLOB type in relational database, and combined R-tree index to manage 3D spatial data. 目的探讨3D打印辅助体外预开窗技术在复杂主动脉疾病腔内治疗中的临床应用价值。方法回顾性分析2020年9月至2021年11月江阴市人民医院收治的10例复杂主动脉疾病患者临床资料。患者术前根据CTA影像制作3D打印模型,辅助体外定位预开窗位置... 目的探讨3D打印辅助体外预开窗技术在复杂主动脉疾病腔内治疗中的临床应用价值。方法回顾性分析2020年9月至2021年11月江阴市人民医院收治的10例复杂主动脉疾病患者临床资料。患者术前根据CTA影像制作3D打印模型,辅助体外定位预开窗位置,并结合支架束径技术完成腔内修复手术。结果患者均定位精准并顺利完成手术,无中转开胸和死亡病例。自制支架时间(56.00±12.20)min,手术时长(246.80±47.43)min,血管腔内操作时间(84.80±9.62)min,植入支架(3.80±1.03)个。患者术后无感染、出血、肝肾功能异常等并发症。术后随访8个月,1例患者失访,其余9例患者支架位置良好,分支通畅,病变重塑良好,无内漏。结论应用3D打印辅助体外预开窗支架可以精准定位,对复杂主动脉疾病患者的手术安全有效,术后恢复快、并发症低,患者临床获益更佳。 展开更多

This study examined the dynamic characteristics of upper airway collapse at soft palate level in patients with obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS) by using dynamic 3-Dimensional(3-D) CT imaging.A total of 41 male patients who presented with 2 of the following symptoms,i.e.,daytime sleepiness and fatigue,frequent snoring,and apnea with witness,were diagnosed as having OSAHS.They underwent full-night polysomnography and then dynamic 3-D CT imaging of the upper airway during quiet breathing and in Muller's maneuver.The soft palate length(SPL),the minimal cross-sectional area of the retropalatal region(mXSA-RP),and the vertical distance from the hard palate to the upper posterior part of the hyoid(hhL) were compared between the two breathing states.These parameters,together with hard palate length(HPL),were also compared between mild/moderate and severe OSAHS groups.Association of these parameters with the severity of OSAHS [as reflected by apnea hypopnea index(AHI) and the lowest saturation of blood oxygen(LSaO2)] was examined.The results showed that 31 patients had severe OSAHS,and 10 mild/moderate OSAHS.All the patients had airway obstruction at soft palate level.mXSA-RP was significantly decreased and SPL remarkably increased during Muller's maneuver as compared with the quiet breathing state.There were no significant differences in these airway parameters(except the position of the hyoid bone) between severe and mild/moderate OSAHS groups.And no significant correlation between these airway parameters and the severity of OSAHS was found.The position of hyoid was lower in the severe OSAHS group than in the mild/moderate OSAHS group.The patients in group with body mass index(BMI)≥26 had higher collapse ratio of mXSA-RP,greater neck circumference and smaller mXSA-RP in the Muller's maneuver than those in group with BMI26(P0.05 for all).It was concluded that dynamic 3-D CT imaging could dynamically show the upper airway changes at soft palate level in OSAHS patients.All the OSAHS patients had airway obstruction of various degrees at soft palate level.But no correlation was observed between the airway change at soft palate level and the severity of OSAHS.The patients in group with BMI≥26 were more likely to develop airway obstruction at soft palate level than those with BMI26. 展开更多

At the orthogonal configuration, the criteria and the relationships between the criteriaand the link lengths are analyzed, which is important since it can provide designer a piece ofvaluable information about how to choose the linear actuators. From the analysis of the results itis shown that the force/motion transmission capabilities of the parallel manipulator arecharacterized by isotropy at the orthogonal configuration. Many performance indices for parallel mechanism are put forward in the phase of dimensional synthesis,except for identifiability index,which determines the difficulty of kinematical calibration.If the dimensional parameters are inappropriately selected,the existing methods for optimizing identifiability will not effectively work.Thus,with the aim of studying identifiability optimization in dimensional synthesis for 3-PRS mechanism,kinematics with structural errors is analyzed to provide theoretical bases for kinematical model.Then through a comparison of two 3-PRS mechanisms with different dimensional parameters,identifiability performance is proved to be necessary and feasible for optimization in the phase of dimensional design.Finally,an index δ is proposed to scale the identifiability performance.With the index,identifiability analysis and dimensional synthesis simulation in the whole workspace is completed.The index is verified to be correct and feasible,and based on the index,a procedure of dimensional synthesis,as well as an example set of non-dimensional parameters of 3-PRS mechanism,is proposed.The proposed identifiability index and design method can effectively introduce identifiability optimization into dimensional synthesis,and will obviously benefit later kinematical calibration. 展开更多

In this work, the endurance performance of the 3D 1D1 R crossbar array under the thermal effect is investigated in terms of numerical simulation. It is revealed that the endurance performance of the 3D 1D1 R array would be seriously deteriorated under thermal effects as the feature size scales down to a relatively small value.
