A new potato breeding line, "Za-3-danxuan-5", for forage use was selected from potato seed seedlings resulting from crossing Russet Burbank and Tang 195 varieties. Its tuber yield was (42 450.04) ( kg/hm^2),...A new potato breeding line, "Za-3-danxuan-5", for forage use was selected from potato seed seedlings resulting from crossing Russet Burbank and Tang 195 varieties. Its tuber yield was (42 450.04) ( kg/hm^2), (250.99%) higher than the control variety Atlantic. The yield of fresh stem and leaf was (55 945.51) ( kg/hm^2), (210.61%) higher than the control. The crude protein content of tubers, and fresh stem and leaf was (2.75%) and 16.82%, respectively. It is a good new potato breeding line for forage use with a wide extension prospect.展开更多
