Development and Evaluation of 3D Delivery Animation Software Designed to Improve the Mother’s and Spouse’s Satisfaction with Delivery

Purpose: To clarify the effectiveness of 3-D delivery animation software for the mother’s and husband’s satisfaction with delivery. Subjects and Method: We independently developed a software application used to display the pelvic region and explain the labor process. The study involved a collaboration with hospital staff who recruited 18 primiparous and 18 multiparous mothers who were hospitalized for delivery at Facility A. The midwife explained the process of delivery using the “Delivery Animation Software”. A self-administered, anonymous questionnaire was distributed and analyzed separately for primiparous and multiparous mothers and their husbands. Results: 1) For both primiparous and multiparous couples, both mothers and their husbands gained a significantly higher level of understanding after delivery than during pregnancy. 2) The Self-Evaluation Scale for Experience of Delivery results were as follows: “I did my best for the baby even if it was painful” was selected more often for “birth coping skills”;“reliable medical staff” was selected more often for “physiological birth process”;“the birth progressed as I expected” was selected frequently by primiparous mothers;and “the birth progressed smoothly” was selected often by multiparous mothers. 3) In terms of husbands’ satisfaction with the delivery, “I was satisfied with the delivery”, “I was given an easy-to-understand explanation”, and “They explained the process to me” was selected of primiparous and multiparous fathers. 4) All primiparous and multiparous mothers positively evaluated whether the delivery animation was helpful in understanding the process of delivery. Conclusion: The delivery animation was effective in improving the understanding and satisfaction of both the mothers and their husbands. 展开更多

Image Non-Uniformity Correction in 3T Gd-EOB-DTPA-Enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging: Comparison among Different Software Versions

Background: Non-uniformity in signal intensity occurs commonly in magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, which may pose substantial problems when using a 3T scanner. Therefore, image non-uniformity correction is usually applied. Purpose: To compare the correction effects of the phased-array uniformity enhancement (PURE), a calibration-based image non-uniformity correction method, among three different software versions in 3T Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MR imaging. Material and Methods: Hepatobiliary-phase images of a total of 120 patients who underwent Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MR imaging on the same 3T scanner were analyzed retrospectively. Forty patients each were examined using three software versions (DV25, DV25.1, and DV26). The effects of PURE were compared by visual assessment, histogram analysis of liver signal intensity, evaluation of the spatial distribution of correction effects, and evaluation of quantitative indices of liver parenchymal enhancement. Results: The visual assessment indicated the highest uniformity of PURE-corrected images for DV26, followed by DV25 and DV25.1. Histogram analysis of corrected images demonstrated significantly larger variations in liver signal for DV25.1 than for the other two versions. Although PURE caused a relative increase in pixel values for central and lateral regions, such effects were weaker for DV25.1 than for the other two versions. In the evaluation of quantitative indices of liver parenchymal enhancement, the liver-to-muscle ratio (LMR) was significantly higher for the corrected images than for the uncorrected images, but the liver-to-spleen ratio (LSR) showed no significant differences. For corrected images, the LMR was significantly higher for DV25 and DV26 than for DV25.1, but the LSR showed no significant differences among the three versions. Conclusion: There were differences in the effects of PURE among the three software versions in 3T Gd-EOB-DTPA-enhanced MR imaging. Even if the non-uniformity correction method has the same brand name, correction effects may differ depending on the software version, and these differences may affect visual and quantitative evaluations. 展开更多

It has been shown in our design that using printable connectors—a few engines and weight arrangements can be carried out, permitting distinctive moving prospects. After presenting our configuration and delineating a bunch of potential structures, a helpful model dependent on open-source equipment and programming arrangements has been presented conditionally. The model can be effectively tried in a few makes-a plunge streams and lakes throughout the planet. The unwavering quality of the printed models can be strained distinctly in generally shallow waters. Nonetheless, we accept that their accessibility will inspire the overall population to construct and test submerged robots, subsequently accelerating the improvement of imaginative arrangements and applications. 展开更多

In this paper, we present a SPEL extension that leverages the version control system (e.g., Git) to autonomous code generation and demonstrate its application to continuous code integration and development of the ELM software system. This study focuses on assessing the dynamic behaviors of carbon SupercompositeTM laminates when subjected to high strain-rates and air blast loads, using a shock tube for testing. The investigation aims to understand the response of these advanced materials under extreme conditions, which is crucial for applications in aerospace, military, and other high-performance industries. SupercompositeTM (CZE) prepreg, made up of a 3K plain weave carbon fabric with milled carbon fibers as interlaminar reinforcements impregnated with epoxy, is used to create SupercompositeTM (CZE) laminates. A woven carbon composite (CBE) laminate was also created using 3K plain weave Carbon/Epoxy (CBE) prepreg. Both types of laminates were designed and fabricated using the autoclave process. The dynamic behaviors of CZE and CBE laminate under transverse compression loads were evaluated using a modified Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB). The study found that the 3D reinforcement with milled carbon fibers significantly affected the dynamic behavior of the CZE laminate. Stereo imaging videos, captured using two SHIMADZU high-speed video cameras in shock tube experiments, recorded the time history of back surface deflection. The plate specimens exhibited low deflections without any visible damage. The experimentally observed center point deflections of the CZE plates decayed sooner than those of the CBE laminates, indicating an improvement in damping due to the presence of 3D reinforced milled carbon fibers. This research shows that optimized utilization of milled carbon fibers as 3D reinforcement can withstand high stress in the thickness direction and higher energy absorption when subjected to impact and high strain-rate loading. 展开更多

目的比较多田公式与3D_slicer软件评估高血压脑出血患者早期血肿准确性.方法回顾性分析103例高血压基底节区脑出血患者分别采用多田公式、3D_slicer软件测量所得血肿体积资料,依据3D_slicer软件所测得体积分为A组(血肿量<30ml,n=31)... 目的比较多田公式与3D_slicer软件评估高血压脑出血患者早期血肿准确性.方法回顾性分析103例高血压基底节区脑出血患者分别采用多田公式、3D_slicer软件测量所得血肿体积资料,依据3D_slicer软件所测得体积分为A组(血肿量<30ml,n=31)、B组(血肿量为30~60ml,n=38)、C组(血肿量>60ml,n=34),按形状分为规则组(n=33)、不规则组(n=60)、分叶状组(n=10),对两种方法测量结果进行比较.结果多田公式、3D_slicer软件测量血肿体积(51.89±5.26)ml、(43.75±4.52)ml,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),多田公式较3D_slicer软件平均测量差异为8.14ml,两种测量方法所得血肿体积相关性不显著(P>0.05);依据血肿大小分组,多田公式较3D_slicer软件测量差异分别为A组2.28ml、B组6.69ml、C组17.55ml;依据血肿形状分组,多田公式较3D_slicer软件测量差异分别为规则组2.93ml、不规则组6.04ml、分叶状组6.36ml.结论高血压脑出血患者采用传统多田公式评估早期血肿情况准确性低,尤其对于形状不规则血肿计算差异较大,而采用3D_slicer软件测量脑内血肿体积具有准确、快捷、免费等优点,在判断预后、准确告知患者病情有积极作用. 展开更多

UML (Unified Modeling Language) is used to design lower-level software components and DEMO (Design and Engineering Methodology for Organization), one of the business engineering methodologies based on the communication theory, is used to identify core business processes for 3PL business models. 目的建立可视化人体的鼻部相关结构的三维模型。方法采用中国首例女性数字化可视人体数据集(CVH-2),选取从额窦顶到上颌窦底消失水平连续横断面图像,在计算机上利用Amira4.1软件和RadioDexter软件行三维重建的立体显示。结果重建出了鼻... 目的建立可视化人体的鼻部相关结构的三维模型。方法采用中国首例女性数字化可视人体数据集(CVH-2),选取从额窦顶到上颌窦底消失水平连续横断面图像,在计算机上利用Amira4.1软件和RadioDexter软件行三维重建的立体显示。结果重建出了鼻骨,额窦,筛窦,蝶窦,上颌窦,鼻腔,上、中、下鼻甲,鸡冠,鼻中隔,钩突,鼻泪管,颈内动脉,视神经的三维可视化模型。该模型可以任意缩放和任意角度旋转,可显示不同结构间的毗邻关系和空间构象,并可进行三维的距离和角度的测量。结论鼻部相关结构的三维可视化模型可促进对该部位解剖结构的理解和掌握,为鼻部疾病影像诊断和鼻内镜手术提供了形态学参考,并可应用于虚拟手术。 展开更多
