A 2D plane coordination compound [Ag_2(Dpya)_2.(NO_3)_2]n was synthesized and characterized by FT-IR,elemental analysis and TG analysis.The red crystal was obtained via solvent diffusion method at room temperature...A 2D plane coordination compound [Ag_2(Dpya)_2.(NO_3)_2]n was synthesized and characterized by FT-IR,elemental analysis and TG analysis.The red crystal was obtained via solvent diffusion method at room temperature and is slightly soluble in organic solvents.Its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.It crystallizes in monoclinic,space group P1 with a = 10.7995(13),b = 7.4748(8),c = 18.364(2) A,β = 98.916(4)o,V = 1464.5(3) A^3,Z = 2,C_(26)H_(28)Ag_2N_(10)O_6,M_r = 792.32,Dc = 1.302 Mg/m^3,F(000) = 792,μ(Mo Ka) = 1.356 mm^-1,R = 0.0575 and w R = 0.0826.The compound [Ag_2(Dpya)_2.(NO_3)_2]_n is a two-dimensional structure and there are two kinds of coordination configurations about the Ag atoms in the compound.The Ag(1) center is tetrahedrally coordinated with two O atoms of NO_3^-and two N atoms from the ligand Dpya.Meanwhile,the Ag(2) is five-coordinated by five O atoms from three NO_3^-anions.The Ag centers(Ag(1) and Ag(2)) connect to themselves as well as with each other by the bridging NO_3^-anions.And the coordination compound shows photoluminescence with an emission peak at 530 nm(λex = 450 nm) as the ligand Dpya.展开更多

[Objective]The paper was to study a synthetic method suitable for industrial production of intermediate N-Chloroformyl-N-[4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl]methyl carbamate of indoxacarb.[Method]Using 4-trifluoromethoxy anil...[Objective]The paper was to study a synthetic method suitable for industrial production of intermediate N-Chloroformyl-N-[4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl]methyl carbamate of indoxacarb.[Method]Using 4-trifluoromethoxy aniline as the starting material,[4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl]carbamate was synthesized by homogeneous formylation method without acid-binding agent.Subsequently,it was reacted with sodium methoxide/potassium methoxide by reactive distillation to obtain[4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl]carbamate ammonium sodium/potassium,then directly reacted with triphosgene to obtain crude products of N-carbonochloridoyl-N-[4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl]carbamate;finally,competing product was obtained by recrystallization.[Result]The intermediate N-chloroformyl-N-[4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl]carbamate was synthesized by the method.The content of products was higher than 98%.The yield of product reached above 96%(calculated by 4-trifluoromethoxy aniline).[Conclusion]The method used for the synthesis of intermediate N-chloroformyl-N-[4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl]methyl carbamate was simple,with less three wastes,higher safety and lower cost.展开更多

Resulted amides 1-6 were investigated for their antifungal and antibacterial activities. Compounds 2 (96.5%) against Aspergillus fumigatus and 6 (93.7%) against Helminthosporium sativum demonstrated excellent activities. However, compounds 3 (37.6%) against Bacillus subtilis, 4 (33.2%) against Pseudomonas aurignosa, 5 against Klebsiella pneumonia demonstrated excellent growth inhibition potential.展开更多
A series of five new Schiff bases(1–5) were synthesized by reacting 2-(trifluoromethoxy) aniline with different aromatic aldehydes. The Schiff base compounds were characterized by spectroscopic and analytical methods. Crystal structure of one new compound was also reported. The pharmacological properties, including antibacterial(14 bacterial species), antifungal(7 strains), antimalarial, anti-trypanosomal and anti-HIV activities of the compounds, were investigated. Cytotoxicity of the tested compounds was evaluated against human cervix adernocarcinoma cells(He La). Bacterial minimum inhibitory concentration(MIC) results by broth microdilution method showed that Bacillus subtilis, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella oxytoc and Klebsiella pneumonia were more sensitive in the presence of tested compounds with an MIC value of 15.6 μg/m L. All the tested compounds showed good to moderate activity against fungi. The sensitivity of Aspergillus fumigatus was higher than other strains with a minimum cell death concentration(MFC) of 15.6 μg/m L. Compound 1 showed greater antimalarial and anti-trypanosomal properties with very low to no cytotoxic effects against He La cells as compared with compound 5, while other compounds exhibited poor activity. The presence of bromine atom from the propyloxy side chain is found to be capable of altering and influencing the mesomorphic properties.展开更多
