A newly synthesized reagent 2-amino-5-mercapto-[1, 3, 4]triazole (MATZ) has been usedto fabricate self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on gold electrode for the first time. The SAMselectrode was characterized by electrochemical methods and scanning electronic microscopy (SEM),the SAMs electrode can be used to determinate dopamine (DA) and uric acid (UA) simultaneouslywith a detection limit of 8×10-7 mol/L for DA and 1×10-6 mol/L for UA respectively. The SAMscan also be used to detect the contents of DA and UA in synthetic urine sample with satisfactoryresults. 展开更多

Control of the agglomeration of crystals in the reactive crystallization of 5-(difluoromethoxy)-2-mercapto-lH- benzimidazole

The spherical agglomeration of DMB during the reactive crystallization in a batch cr... 5-(Difluoromethoxy)-2-mercapto- 1H-benzimi- dazole (DMB) was precipitated by adding acetic acid to the DMB sodium salt solution. The spherical agglomeration of DMB during the reactive crystallization in a batch crystallizer was monitored by real-time Particle Video Microscope (PVM). We found that the low feeding rate of acetic acid, high crystallization temperature, low agitation rate or adding seed crystal can facilitate the formation of spherical agglomerates. By using a simple model, the mean crystal agglomerate size of DMB thus predicted is generally in agreement with the experimental data. In addition, the crystallization process of DMB was optimized by a new control strategy of supersaturation to avoid disadvantages brought by agglomeration. 展开更多

A novel series of transition metal complexes have been synthesized from the reaction of 5-((3-(methylthio)-5-(pyridin-4-yl)-4H- 1,2,4-triazol-4-ylamino)melhyl)quinolm-8-ol with transition metal salts.The structures of these compounds have been elucidated by elemental and spectral analysis.Furthermore,compounds were screened for in vitro antimicrobial activity against the representative panel of two Gram-positive and two Gram-negative bacteria and two strains of fungus.The various compounds show potent inhibitory action against test organisms. 展开更多
